U.S. and Israeli Military Tactics Used Against American Citizens … Gazans Tweet Tips On How to Handle Tear Gas to Help Residents of Ferguson, Missouri

As you may have heard, police and Swat teams in Ferguson, Missouri have fired tear gas and rubber bullets at peaceful protesters, and outlawed peaceful assembly.

Police are also using stun grenades and ear-damaging military sound cannons against peaceful protesters.

Reporters are among those shot at with rubber bullets and tear gas, assaulted and arrested.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If the police had allowed Saturday's peaceful march to end without incident, this would all be over. But everything the Ferguson police do seems intended to provoke further outrage and anger.

Analyst: All NSA intel goes directly to Israel

The US National Security Agency (NSA) directly sends all of the intelligence that it gathers to the Israeli regime, a political analyst tells Press TV.

“We now know that all of the NSA’s spying is going directly to Israel,” James H. Fetzer, a professor at the University of Minnesota Duluth, said in a Saturday interview.

“I believe that all of our allies should discontinue sharing their intelligence with the Unites States unless they are willing that it should go directly to Tel Aviv,” the analyst said.

“It would be advisable for the Unites Nations to undertake an exploration of this because it appears to be a violation of national sovereignty for one nation to be spying on the communications of its highest executive officials,” Fetzer added.

How computer hackers changed the Ferguson protests

Exposed to the light the cops run like cockroaches when you turn on the light!

FERGUSON • The Internet crashed at City Hall here on Tuesday morning. Ferguson’s website went dark. The phones died.

City officials didn’t say what happened — only that a flood of traffic aimed at the City Hall website “just kept coming.”And the hackers vowed retribution if police harmed protesters.

“We are watching you very closely,” Anonymous’ distinctive electronic voice rasped in a video posted Monday on Twitter. “If you abuse, harass or harm the protesters in Ferguson we will take every Web-based asset of your departments and federal agencies offline.”

The hackers would also, the video continued, begin publicly releasing police officers’ personal information.

Then they did.

Early Tuesday morning, someone posted the home address and phone number of Jon Belmar, the relatively new chief of St. Louis County police. And that was just the beginning.

St. Louis business leaders are denouncing violence and police actions in Ferguson following the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown last Saturday.

Chris Sommers, owner of the Pi Pizzeria chain in St. Louis, also has been active on social media throughout the week, mostly retweeting news accounts of the unfolding events in Ferguson on his Twitter account, @sommerscm, to his more than 800 followers. Sommers said the protests following Brown's death have been mishandled by authorities. “It's devastating to our town,”

State Senator To Ferguson Police: 'Will I Get Tear-Gassed Again?'

Missouri state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal confronted Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson during a press conference Wednesday, asking why she was tear-gassed during a nonviolent protest.

Chappelle-Nadal, a Democrat, said she had been tear-gassed while peacefully protesting the death of Michael Brown, the unarmed African-American teenager shot to death by a police officer on Saturday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The corporate media is trying to frame this confrontation as a racial issue, and even try to use it to call for more gun control. But it isn't. This is about people OF ALL COLORS tired of oppressive police brutality at the hands of a government that sees such brutality and control as preferential to working with the people as the Constitution demands.

The police drew first blood. They have been drawing first blood for years now with an epidemic of wrongful shootings of innocent people, SWAT team invasions aty wrong addresses, brutalization of women and children, shooting of pets, and so forth. Since 9-11 the domestic police forces of the United States have murdered 8 times as many innocent Americans as terrorists have!

The claim that this is all about race is a false-dichotomy to conceal the fact that the real issue is We The People OF ALL COLORS demanding our Constitutional rights back, first and foremost that we not be gunned down in cold blood by some uniformed thug driven psychotic by anti-depressants and then protected from prosecution by the system!

Activists Protest Bombing of Gaza and innocent passerby harassed by pro Israel opposition and arrested

Demonstrators protest the violence in Gaza during a pro Palestine rally in Seattle. As protestors lined the sidewalks in Westlake Park, a pro Israel supporter walks by, harassing the demonstrators, yelling in peoples faces, screaming obscenities, and racial slurs. After crossing the street and harassing another group of demonstrators, the man tore off his shirt and began walking towards the group with fists clenched. As someone who wasn’t a part of the demonstration walked by, the pro Israel supporter turned and said something as he passed. The man then turned around as if he was going to swing, but thought better of it. The pro Israel supporter squared off with him, but a Westlake security guard who was watching the interaction pulled out his pepper spray, and sprayed the innocent passerby, grabbed him by the arm and tried to wrestle him to the ground. He was eventually led off into Westlake Center as SPD arrived on the scene.

Pentagon fueled Ferguson confrontation

The Pentagon might not have boots on the ground in Ferguson, Mo., where 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot by police on Saturday, but it does have wheels on the street.

Michelle McCaskill, media relations chief at the Defense Logistics Agency, confirms that the Ferguson Police Department is part of a federal program called 1033 that distributes hundreds of millions of dollars of surplus military equipment to civilian police forces across the United States. The materials range from small items, such as pistols and automatic rifles, to heavy armored vehicles such as the MRAPs used in Afghanistan and Iraq.

"In 2013 alone, $449,309,003.71 worth of property was transferred to law enforcement," the agency's website states.

Why Do They Hate Us?

For ages have been trying to destroy us, but we stood firm and we fought back, proudly. They invaded, ruined, burned our lands, and they murdered the people of Russia, of China and of the entire part of the world, now called Latin America. They, of course, also murdered and destroyed tens or hundreds of millions of people in the Middle East, in Africa, Asia and Oceania.

When I say ‘they’, I mean the West, and once again I refuse to make any distinction between the old colonial devils, Europe, and the new ones that come from the same roots, the same ‘culture’, but kill under the shade of their relatively new flags.

They hate us because we bled and cried over our dead, but we never gave up the struggle.

Witness: Mike Brown was 'shot like an animal'

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A witness to the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown has come forward to tell his side of Saturday's events.

Dorian Johnson was walking with Brown Saturday afternoon when the shooting happened. NewsChannel 5's Farrah Fazal was the only local reporter he spoke with.

You can watch the entire raw interview below this story.

Here are excerpts of Johnson's interview: "It was around 1:40, two o'clock. We were walking down the street, empty street. We were just walking down, minding our business. We're both headed home, and the officer's approaching us, and as he pulled up on the side of us, he didn't say 'freeze,' 'halt,' or nothing like we were committing a crime. He said, 'Get the f*** on the sidewalk!' I told the officer we were not but a minute away from the destination."

"He never once attempted to grab for this officer's weapon."

Making Murder "Reasonable": How the Ferguson PD Will Whitewash the Killing of Michael E. Brown

Neither of the young men was doing anything suspicious to justify a police “contact,” so the officer synthesized one out of the ether: According to Johnson, as the cop drove by he bellowed at the pedestrians to “get the f**k on the sidewalk.”

Johnson, displaying immeasurably more civility than the armed functionary supposedly there to protect and serve him, politely explained that he was only a few hundred feet from his home. He recalls that the officer took offense, slammed on his brakes, threw his vehicle into reverse — nearly hitting the pedestrians -- and growled, “What’d you say?”

According to Johnson’s account, the cop began to exit his vehicle, but his door slammed into Brown. At roughly the same time, the uniformed assailant grabbed the terrified 18-year-old by his neck.

The mammoth global “free trade” agreement you’ve never heard of

'It is astounding that at a time when we are still reeling from the devastating consequences of reckless financial deregulation, our governments are negotiating further deregulation of the financial sector, solely in the interests of large financial corporations.'

Here's what we know: Fifty countries, including the United States, the EU nations, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Turkey, have been in TISA talks since 2012. The resulting agreement will set the terms for almost 70 percent of global trade in “services”: everything from banking and construction to telecom and tourism.

The public got its first glimpse of the treaty on June 19, when WikiLeaks published a draft of the agreement's chapter on financial services. It wasn't pretty.

Under the wet feet and dry feet policy. A rally has been organized for Sunday in front of the Los Angeles police headquarters to protest the shooting of an unarmed African-American man, whose family said that he was lying face down in the street when an officer pulled the trigger.

The gunshot victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Lt. Ellis Imaizumi had initially said on Monday that the officer sustained minor injuries, but the official statement indicated that no officers were hurt during the shooting.

California SB 967: all males attending universities will be treated as suspect rapists.

Rape and sexual assault are very serious crimes, and we applaud efforts to protect both male and female students on California campuses. However, SB 976 introduced by State Senators Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles) and Hannah-Beth Jackson (D-Santa Barbara) would initiate harmful changes with disastrous consequences for California’s sons.

The bill adopts the “preponderance of evidence” standard. That is a lower bar than the “beyond reasonable doubt” standard used in the criminal courts or the middle-ground “clear and convincing evidence” standard typically used in matters with serious consequences to the accused. In the college setting, the accused will be saddled with a lifetime “sex offender” stigma because of an ambiguous social interaction, not a forcible rape.

Brown’s prosecutors in the court of public opinion will nonetheless demand he defend himself against these charges because he was a black teenager. His killer will remain presumed innocent. But for Mike Brown, there was a collective presumption of his guilt by the Ferguson police ... and that of the Ferguson citizens who gathered to air their grievances about the shooting long before any rioting started – and the timing of this is important. The De-industrialization of America

Paul Craig Roberts and US Senator Charles Schumer published a jointly written article on the op-ed page of the New York Times titled “Second Thoughts on Free Trade.” The article pointed out that the US had entered a new economic era in which American workers face “direct global competition at almost every job level–from the machinist to the software engineer to the Wall Street analyst. Any worker whose job does not require daily face-to-face interaction is now in jeopardy of being replaced by a lower-paid equally skilled worker thousands of miles away. American jobs are being lost not to competition from foreign companies, but to multinational corporations that are cutting costs by shifting operations to low-wage countries.” Roberts and Schumer challenged the correctness of economists’ views that jobs off-shoring was merely the operation of mutually beneficial free trade, about which no concerns were warranted.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The continuous offshoring/outsourcing of American jobs is no accident.

And that is because the government no longer represents We the People, but only the corporations which fund their election cycles.

Americans have become irrelevant and and expendable to the ruling class, save for paying taxes, and obeying whatever dictates they decree with sheep-like, slavish precision.

No matter who we vote for or how frequently we participate in the process, the fix is already in; corporations get the governments they want which will be exclusively supportive of their interests, no matter if those interests are in direct contradiction to the needs and desires of working Americans.

The New McCarthyism

Once again vast sums of money are being spent on a war, this time a hot one and getting hotter. Once again parties with a vested interest are out to smear and destroy anyone who dares ask if the wars are worth the sacrifice of our young people (not to mention the money), indeed if there really is any point at all to the wars aside from justifying the flow of money to defense contractors.

But the Soviet Union has gone out of business. The word "communist" doesn't carry the same psychological impact it used to, so the war hawk smear squad has come up with a new one, "Anti-Semite." Like "Communist", "Anti-Semite" is used to ruin the lives of people who have not actually done anything wrong other than to challenge the war profiteers. It is a new word for an old trick, and I am amazed that they are still playing the same old game, but I guess the FBI can always find some dumb-assed idiot to fall for it and do their dirty work of wrecking a career for them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

People are looking at the firing of Steven Salaita and Hollywood's declared unemployment for Penelope Cruz and asking if there is a new blacklist. There isn't. It's the same one that has been going on all along, usually out of sight of the public. It's the same blacklist whose wrath I personally experienced 20 years ago.

Is the firing of Steven Salaita the beginning of a new Blacklist?

Here’s why the University and mainstream media don’t want to say he was fired.

Because firing a tenured professor purely for his political opinions, especially one with multiple academic publications to his record, means the University has violated the following:

1) His First amendment rights.

2) His academic freedom.

3) His rights as an employee at a public university, as well his rights to due process.

Here’s the single reason why we claim he was fired: more than one month ago, Steven Salaita signed a contract to work at the University of Illinois.

Approximately three weeks later, he was told he no longer had that job.

That’s a firing, not a rescission.

This incident signals the following:

—For those of us who have tenure in the academy, it tells us that our private expressions on social media may now outweigh our academic work.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There is no new blacklist. It's the same one that has been going on all along, the same one fully on display in the case of Penelope Cruz, and the same one whose wrath I felt 20 years ago.

Peaceful in Ferguson Tuesday morning following unrest overnight

The crowds started marching down the road at dusk. Police were concerned that they were going to start turning cars over. They told demonstrators to go home. The police they tossed tear gas near the demonstrators. Rubber bullets were fired by authorities to break-up the tense situation. One person was taken to the hospital for his injuries from a rubber bullet.

Protesters outraged by the police killing of 18-year-old Ferguson resident Michael Brown were met by police in riot gear, police carrying assault rifles, and police aboard a LENCO BearCat, a type of military armored vehicle.

Fired professor voiced "legitimate outrage" over Gaza attack, say University of Illinois colleagues

Professors from within the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign have called on the college to rescind its firing of Steven Salaita over the academic’s Palestine solidarity activities.

As reported previously on The Electronic Intifada, revelations from various sources have strongly suggested that the University of Illinois was lobbied by Zionist groups opposed to Salaita’s hiring as an associate professor in the Department of American Indian Studies. The sacking was condemned in an open letter by senior professors from around North America, and by the American Association of University Professors.

Now, in a statement sent to members and posted as a PDF file on its website, the executive committee for the Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (CSAMES) at the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign has spelled out its opposition to its own management’s actions.

Zionist groups planned to lobby Univ. of Illinois trustees over Salaita appointment

Last week it was reported that University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) Chancellor Phyllis Wise had abruptly terminated Salaita weeks before he was due to start teaching in a tenured position in the American Indian Studies Program.

This followed a media campaign against Salaita, a prominent advocate for the boycott of Israeli academic institutions, over tweets he made condemning Israel’s massacre in Gaza.

Wise’s move has drawn broad and forceful condemnation from heavyweight academics and organizations including the AAUP.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Salaita should sue Phyllis Wise for violations of the First Amendment. Salaita has a right to express his personal opinion in tweets. Everyone who took part in this attempt to silence him is an enemy of America and all that it supposedly stands for!

Philly DA sued over $5.8 million civil forfeiture “machine.”

A class-action federal civil rights lawsuit, filed yesterday by the Institute for Justice, a Libertarian-oriented civil liberties union, and the Philadelphia civil liberties law firm of Kairys, Rudovsky, Messing and Feinberg, accuses the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Police Department and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office of violating the civil rights of thousands of Philadelphians who have had their houses and other property confiscated by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, in many cases without any criminal charge being filed against them.

The complaint, filed yesterday in the United States Eastern District of Pennsylvania, accuses the D.A. of using “civil forfeiture” — a set of laws that allow law- enforcement officials to seize and keep property with a link, often vaguely defined, to illegal activity — to pad its budget at the expense of property owners by depriving them, the complaint alleges, of their constitutional rights to due process.

Judge affirms probationer has a right to tape police officer in her home

In a statement of findings and recommendations filed last week, a US Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of California affirmed that a woman on searchable probation had the right to videotape three officers who came to her home to search it.

In February 2011, plaintiff Mary Crago was visited by three police officers, including defendant Officer Kenneth Leonard. Leonard was working on the Sacramento Police Department's Metal Theft Task Force, and he was tipped off that Crago may have been involved in a theft involving a vehicle battery. Since Crago was on searchable probation, the officers entered her home—the door was open—and they found Crago “sitting on a mattress, digging furiously through a purse.”

DEA improperly paid $854,460 for Amtrak passenger lists

The Drug Enforcement Administration paid an Amtrak secretary $854,460 over nearly 20 years to obtain confidential information about train passengers, which the DEA could have lawfully obtained for free through a law enforcement network, The Associated Press has learned.

The employee was not publicly identified except as a “secretary to a train and engine crew” in a report on the incident by Amtrak’s inspector general. The secretary was allowed to retire, rather than face administrative discipline, after the discovery that the employee had effectively been acting as an informant who “regularly” sold private passenger information since 1995 without Amtrak’s approval, according to a one-paragraph summary of the matter

Today's journalism cockroaches

Journalism in America might not be dead, but it is flopping around in a severely wounded condition based on the rampant dishonesty, obfuscation and outright lying that’s going on. The examples of agenda-driven misreporting and blatant political catering are legion and painfully obvious to anyone paying even minimal attention, but out here on the frontlines of the culture war it is best described as truly bizarre and obscenely putrid.
***
But when the president of the United States evidences pure racism based on color of skin instead of content of character, as he did in the Trayvon Martin debacle, our First Amendment abusing media are silent. Not a peep.

I will carry on with my First Amendment rights in my fight to expose the cockroaches, the abject criminal abuse of power and outrageous runaway corruption infesting our government and media. Sometimes in this sad culture war, harsh words are appropriate to identify vile, nasty conditions and violations, dishonesty and hate.

I don’t bring a knife to a gunfight. Historical strategies have proven that in order to win such a war, sometimes you have to bring a howitzer to a wet-towel fight. Bring it.

FLASHBACK - US Vaccines Caused'Spanish Flu'

"The 1918 'Spanish Flu' started in American military Camp Funston, Fort Riley, USA amongst troops making ready for W.W.I - taking on board vaccinations, recruit training and all. It eventually killed about 40,000,000 people worldwide. That flu strain only appeared briefly once again, according to the US Atlanta CDC. This was in 1976 and again it struck at the US army camp Fort Dix, USA, amongst recently vaccinated troops (and no one else EVER); Fort Dix is known to have been a vaccine trial centre. Was the world's greatest 'influenza' scourge another well-hidden vaccine disaster?"---John P Heptonstall

Webmaster's Commentary:

The 1918 flu pandemic was proclaimed the "Spanish Flu" even though it clearly did not originate in Spain. This suggests that even back then, something was being covered up.

This is worth recalling now that multiple sources have identified the Kenema bioweapons lab in Sierra Leone, operated by Fort Detrick and biologists from Tulane University (but now closed and under investigation by the Sierra Leone government), as the starting point for the current Ebola outbreak and that an Ebola vaccine being tested either accidentally or deliberately triggered the disease.

Hidden in Plain View

In 1999, the quarter’s design did change (image #3). The word “LIBERTY” was removed from above the head of Washington and in its place were the words, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.” It might have been argued at the time that those words needed to be on the quarter to remind holders of the coin what nation had issued it. However, those words had always appeared on the reverse of the Washington quarter, and I recently saw a 1999 quarter that had those words on both sides—a very odd redundancy for a coin, which, by its very size, has little space to spare, even for essential information.

The word “LIBERTY” was still in evidence on the new coin, but it had been moved lower down, beneath Washington’s chin, and was now much smaller.

It would seem one reason for the change in design had been to diminish the importance of Liberty as an American concept.

Hospitals to begin monitoring your credit card purchases to flag 'unhealthy' habits

What you buy at the grocery store, where you live, and even your membership status at the local gym are all subject to a new data collection scheme by the American medical system. Reports indicate that hospitals and doctors' offices all across the country are now collecting this and other personal information in order to target individuals deemed to have "unhealthy" lifestyle habits that put them at high risk of disease.

Bloomberg reports that hospital systems in both North and South Carolina as well as Pennsylvania have already begun tracking people's food-purchasing habits by spying on them through public records and credit card transactions. Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS), which operates some 900 care centers throughout the Carolinas, has teamed up with a data-mining company to compile and track this information for the later purpose of calling "high-risk" folks and urging them to make a change.

What a renowned poet wrote about awakening humanity

*hyperlinks live at source*
Rainer Rilke (1875-1926) was a poignant poet; still among the best-selling in the US. Included in his work are ten letters written to an aspiring poet, a section of which seems to speak to activists today in our condition of being relatively few with challenges to awaken humanity for:

peace over lie-begat unlawful Wars of Aggression,
money rather than debt and mathematically guaranteed debt-slavery,
Facts about our most important stories rather than Orwellian corporate media lies (with much distraction).
Recognition of 100 or so game-changing areas, such as Dr. King being assassinated by the US government as proven in the family civil trial, it’s cheaper to provide housing than endure homelessness, GMO non-foods, cancer cures, chemtrails, vaccines being toxic, fluoride in water also toxic, and, well, about 100 more.

Depressed about the world? Awesome! Stages of being awake, catalyzing transformation

*hyperlinks live at source*
Depression can be ontologically (way of being) embraced as a natural expression of empathy; a rational response to the present conditions of psychopathic Earth “leadership.” Choosing to embrace rather than resist so-called “depressed” thoughts and feelings opens a pathway to possible proactive thoughts, speech, and actions to transform present conditions to unpredictable and even unimaginable virtues.

That is, if a human being is going to participate in the transformation of present Earth conditions, then it seems normal for most people to have reactions that may include shock, horror, denial, sadness, fear, rage, depression, and anxiety in becoming responsible (response-able) to Earth conditions when factually embraced. This is a temporary stage that those of us with experience observe often, and almost all of us have gone through ourselves.

'Brilliant and ethical' English professor 'loses his job' at top U.S. university after posting a series of anti-Israel Tweets

A ‘brilliant and ethical’ professor has lost his job at a major U.S. university over his anti-Israel remarks on Twitter, it has been claimed.

Steven Salaita had been offered a role at the University of Illinois on the American Indian Studies course – and the appointment was expected to be confirmed.

But according to the Huffington Post, there have been reports that his outspoken criticism of Israel’s part in the Gaza conflict may have cost him his job.

In one Tweet he told his followers: 'It's simple: either condemn #Israel's actions or embrace your identity as someone who's okay with the wholesale slaughter of children.’

Another read: 'Only #Israel can murder around 300 children in the span of a few weeks and insist that it is the victim.'

On the same day he wrote: 'It's quite simple, really: don't support any ideology whose practice results in dead children.'

According to the Huffington Post, the university has yet to comment on why the appointment was blocked.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The story is that a local Jewish group contacted the University and threatened "action" if Salaita was hired. Now they are saying that even though they did send such a message, they are not responsible for the university's decision.

What is important to keep in mind is that Salaita did not make these remarks in the classroom, but in his private life. This underhanded campaign to ruin his career is a violation of his right to Freedom of Speech under the First Amendment and everyone who took part in this fiasco is an enemy of America and what it stands for.

Congress working on bill to de-militarize federal regulatory agencies

Following a host of federal agencies moving to equip their inspectors with military-grade weapons, some on Capitol Hill are calling for their disarmament.

The proposed legislation takes issue with the growing creep of federal SWAT-type units that have been forming since the 2002 Homeland Security Act granted various agency Offices of Inspectors General arrest and firearm authority. The House bill calls for these agencies to not only lose that authority, but also to restrict them from acquiring military weaponry.

“It’s disturbing to see the stories of federal regulators armed to the teeth and breaking into homes and businesses when there was no reason to think there would be resistance,” Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah), sponsor of the legislation, said in a statement from his office.

US/UK/Israel ‘Empire’ same as Roman Empire: They make a desert and call it peace

*hyperlinks live at source*
Let’s examine connections between the empires of Rome and modern US/UK/Israel to discover possible solutions to restore republic from empire in our world of the present.

Roman Empire: History teaches that the Roman Republic devolved into psychopathic dictatorial empire; characterized by oligarchic families competing among themselves for power and wealth within vicious inner-circles.

This occurred while proclaiming to the public that their government still upheld the highest ideals of their Republic, and proclaiming expanding empire was only and always in “self-defense.”

Emperor Domitian’s assassination in 96 AD (among ~22 murdered emperors), allowed historian Tacitus to write The Agricola, a biographical text of his father-in-law contrasting claimed virtue of Roman military and citizenry with the emperor’s utterly corrupt despotism.

Israel Has Morally Compromised its Supporters

Israel and the West are complicit in mass murder in Gaza. Should they suffer the same fate as Gazans, they won't have any moral recourse.

by Henry Makow PhD.

As friction with Russia threatens to escalate, this isn't a good time for Zionists to embrace the principle of collective punishment and to relinquish their moral authority.

Yet this is exactly what has happened to those who have endorsed Israel's abominable and disproportionate assault on Gaza which has killed 1900 people, 70% of whom were civilians, including 415 children.

Why have Israel's actions been so egregious, given the lack of genuine provocation?

More than 10,000 Gazans have been injured. 373,000 children require psychological support. 500,000 Palestinians have been displaced with 187,000 still living in U.N. emergency shelters. An estimated 10,000 homes have been completely destroyed, and 30,000 homes partially destroyed.

National Security Study 200

SUBJECT: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests

The President has directed a study of the impact of world population growth on U.S. security and overseas interests. The study should look forward at least until the year 2000, and use several alternative reasonable projections of population growth.

In terms of each projection, the study should assess:

- the corresponding pace of development, especially in poorer-countries;
- the demand for US exports, especially of food, and the trade-problems the US may face arising from competition for resources; and
- the likelihood that population growth or imbalances will produce disruptive foreign policies and international instability.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As Ebola races across Africa, it appears that the United States Government's attitude towards the crisis is rather lackadaisical at this point. Certainly it is being treated as a lower priority than sheltering the illegal immigrants flooding across the Mexican border (who given enough time, will bring Ebola with them), providing weapons and money to Israel, and trying to provoke a potentially nuclear war with Russia.

The US Government's inaction could be attributed to the fact that the politicians can;t really do anything about it, cannot get votes out of it, and so, like with Fukushima and the Gulf Oil Disaster, their plan is to ignore Ebola and pretend it just is not important.

But there may be another agenda at work; one that dates back to the Nixon Administration. In 1974, Henry Kissenger prepared a study for the President which suggested US Government policy should work for depopulation of the third world, in particular the resource-rich regions, to make those resources available to the US and to prevent the rise of a sufficiently large population able to resist US incursions.

Nixon adopted this policy, but his successor, Gerald Ford, alarmed by scandals involving covert sterilization under the guise of global vaccination programs, ended the policy. Whether it has been revived in secret is not known.

But there is no question that an Ebola epidemic, raging through the very nations the US AFRICOM is seeking ton control, plays right into that agenda of depopulation to reduce nations' ability to resist US control, and that may be the reason the US Government has done little more about the emerging Ebola crisis than flap their gums for the corporate media cameras!

Alfred Webre: Expose massive Ebola/Martial Law false flag and prevent mega depopulation

"Some dots for you to connect:
"*George Soros’s foundation funds the Kenema bioweapons lab at the focus of the Ebola outbreak, and which is about to be closed, apparently amid an investigation.
"* WHO media coordinator Glenn Thomas was highly likely involved in fielding media and other inquries about how WHO view and what it planned to do about the controversial Kenema lab.
"Was Glenn Thomas aware of hard evidence showing that the lab was faking positive diagnoses for Ebola — Tulane University? — in order to justify forcing people to undergo treatment which would give them Ebola? Did he refuse to go along with the cover up?"
" *The mainstream media is silent about the Kenema bioweapons lab closure as well as about the order to Tulane University to stop Ebola testing. So, what other channels are there left for this information to enter the public domain or be spread through social media networks if WHO does not release the information or take action?

Organized Community Defense Is America’s Last Hope

Not long ago, I felt compelled to address the idea of self defense as a moral imperative in an article titled “Violence In The Face Of Tyranny Is Often Necessary.” My intention was to perhaps undo some of the propaganda conditioning that Americans have suffered over the decades that has taught them that “all” forms of violent action are “immoral”, including the defense of one’s person, one’s property, and one’s freedom.

The recent uprising at Bundy Ranch in Bunkerville, Nev., confirmed my predictions that many Americans are tired of playing by rules chartered by the establishment and are ready to take measures outside of the boundaries set by the system. The reality is that change will never come without consequence and cost, and when faced with an entrenched tyranny, if the citizenry cannot present the threat of physical consequence to their oppressors, the oppressors have no motivation to relinquish power.

Librarians Fight FBI Spies

In July 2005, George Christian, executive director of the Library Connection, Inc. (LCI) in Windsor, Conn., and three librarians—at that time LC’s board officers—were faced with a terrible choice. They could comply with a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) demand for private information on patrons, violating their principles and professional ethics, or risk imprisonment. Courageously, they decided to fight, rather than run. Here is why their story is important to all true Americans.

LCI is a non-profit cooperative, then run by 27 libraries (now 30) in Connecticut, which oversees their shared use of library databases. When FBI agents showed up nine years ago with a “national security letter” (NSL), demanding all information on patrons using the LCI system during a particular 45-minute time window, Christian told them he believed the NSL to be unconstitutional. The agents answered with a scowl, a business card and a request for his lawyer to call the feds.

FLASHBACK - The Tytler Cycle Revisited

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."
“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage

Barack Obama’s Secret Terrorist-Tracking System, by the Numbers

Nearly half of the people on the U.S. government’s widely shared database of terrorist suspects are not connected to any known terrorist group, according to classified government documents obtained by The Intercept.

Of the 680,000 people caught up in the government’s Terrorist Screening Database—a watchlist of “known or suspected terrorists” that is shared with local law enforcement agencies, private contractors, and foreign governments—more than 40 percent are described by the government as having “no recognized terrorist group affiliation.” That category—280,000 people—dwarfs the number of watchlisted people suspected of ties to al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah combined.

...

Since taking office, Obama has boosted the number of people on the no fly list more than ten-fold, to an all-time high of 47,000—surpassing the number of people barred from flying under George W. Bush.

'Outrage' Follows USDA's Advancement of New Genetically Engineered Crops

Environmental groups warn that advancing Dow's new genetically engineered crops means a continuation of a toxic chemical treadmill that threatens human health. (Photo: Holley St. Germain)

Watchdog groups are denouncing the U.S. Department of Agriculture's recommendation on Wednesday to approve new varieties of genetically engineered corn and soybeans as a path towards more toxic pesticides that threaten the environment and public health.

"We are outraged," stated Marcia Ishii-Eiteman, PhD, senior scientist with Pesticide Action Network, adding that the "USDA has turned its back on America’s farmers and rural communities."

The new crops are Dow AgroScience’s 2,4-D- and glyphosate-tolerant corn and soybeans. They are made to be used with Dow's Enlist Duo herbicide, which contains 2,4-D and glyphosate and is also under review by the USDA.
