The Nuclear Agreement; Fantasies vs Facts

Iranians are celebrating the prospects of a long awaited relief from the economic pain that the sanctions had imposed upon the nation. While they blame the United States government for what they believe to have been an unjustified and unfair treatment, they are divided as to what the true motivating factors could have been behind America’s animosity toward Iran.

The majority opinion points to America’s insatiable appetite for a hegemonic control over the region and its energy resources. A much smaller segment of the population comprising of the more educated elites, believe that Israel and its Zionist supporters in the United States have been at the helm and steering America’s foreign policy in the Middle East toward Israel’s preferences, even at the expense of America’s own strategic interests.

Day of Reckoning for American Pensions Is Fast Approaching

For decades, local and state governments in the United States have made promises to their employees that they cannot keep. They guaranteed a certain level of income to retirees at a time when America was its most prosperous, and when most people didn’t live as long as they do now. Those lucrative pensions they promised are starting to catch up to them in a big way.

Prime Minister Tsipras’ Bailout Reform Package: An Act of Treason against the Greek People

After having launched a Referendum to refute and refuse the debt bailout agreement put together by the Troika, Prime Minister Tsipras together with his newly instated Finance Minister, comes up four days latter with an austerity package broadly similar to the one which was turned down by the Greek government in June.

This about-turn had been carefully engineered. The Greek people were misled and deceived. The Referendum was an outright ”ritual of democracy”.

Tsipras had made a deal with the creditors. He was in favor of accepting the demands of the creditors all along.

MH-17 Mystery One Year Later: A New Tonkin Gulf Case?

Like the Tonkin Gulf case, the evidence on the MH-17 case was shaky and contradictory from the start. But, in both cases, U.S. officials confidently pointed fingers at the “enemy.” President Lyndon Johnson blamed North Vietnam in 1964 and Secretary of State John Kerry implicated ethnic Russian rebels and their backers in Moscow in 2014. In both cases, analysts in the U.S. intelligence community were less certain and even reached contrary conclusions once more evidence was available.

In both cases, those divergent assessments appear to have been suppressed so as not to interfere with what was regarded as a national security priority – confronting “North Vietnamese aggression” in 1964 and “Russian aggression” in 2014. To put out the contrary information would have undermined the government’s policy and damaged “credibility.” So the facts – or at least the conflicting judgments – were hidden.

Hillary Forbids Young Supporters from Talking to Press

The Hillary Clinton campaign forbid young supporters from talking to the press at an event last night in Iowa:

"Here's what struck me," said Susan Page of USA Today, "when I read the coverage in the Des Moines Register this morning. Jennifer Jacobs, who's been on your show, was covering this last night. Big demonstrations outside of young people for O'Malley and Hillary Clinton. She went up to the Clinton supporters -- these are protesters for Clinton -- and they were told they were not allowed to [speak to] a reporter."

Page continued, "Now, why in the world would the campaign tell their own supporters who came out to campaign in favor Hillary Clinton ... these are the young people, college kids, for Hillary, and they've been told they can't talk to reporters. Why in the world would you do that?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Hillary Clinton - War Goddess, Corporate Shill, Anti-Populist

All US presidential cycles are money controlled corrupted processes with no legitimacy whatever. Voters have no say despite believing otherwise.

They naively think electing new bums replacing old ones improves things. Their choices are among an array of long ago bought and paid for candidates supporting what most harms them.

The late Gore Vidal said "(b)y the time a (candidate) gets to be presidential material, (he or she has) been bought ten times over."

"There is only one party in the United States, the Property Party (with) two right wings: Republican and Democrat," he explained.

Hillary Clinton perhaps represents the worst choice among an array of aspirants looking more like a police lineup. Previous articles explained her warmongering lust for endless conflicts. She's unabashedly hawkish.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The choices coming at us this coming Presidential election are horrifically bleak.

By the time the primaries roll around, the candidates have been fully vetted by the corporations which own them, and only those with the best chance of doing the absolute best by those corporations will have a chance to compete for the big "prize" of the presidency.

We have an elaborate, Kabuki-like process of elections in this country, but at the end of the day, they are simply a mechanism, engineered to make the American people feel they have some control over their destiny, when they absolutely do not.

And if you don't believe me, just ask yourself; when was the last time this country's leadership actually negotiated something which actually bettered your circumstances in this country?!? If you are hesitant, trust me, you are not alone; it has been one heck of a long, long time, and things do not appear to be getting better for most of us any of us soon.

Donald Trump says he is no apprentice when it comes to Israel

By Jacob Kamaras/

In the middle of a phone interview with on June 26, billionaire real estate mogul and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump leaves his desk to scan the wall of his office for awards he has received from the Jewish community.

Trump reads the text of some relevant plaques before returning to his desk. But before this reporter can move on to the next question, Trump eagerly points out that he was the grand marshal of New York City’s annual Salute to Israel Parade (now the Celebrate Israel Parade) in 2004 “at a time when it was quite dangerous to do that” and “a pretty tough time for Israel,” in the middle of the second Palestinian intifada (uprising against Israel). He also cites a video endorsement he gave Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the Jewish state’s January 2013 election, expressing pride that it was “at the time the only ad done by a celebrity” for Netanyahu.

Some people need to do their research on this guy!

Trump loves Israel and Netanyahu and hates Obama. His candidacy for the GOP nomination is going to wake up people tired of political correctness.

Donald Trump, the billionaire real estate developer, casino owner, entertainment mogul, TV personality and father of a woman who converted to Judaism and says she observes Shabbat, tossed hit hat into the huge ring of Republican candidates for president Tuesday.

'Crisis' hit Zimbabwe wants white farmers back – report

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe's government has reportedly indicated, for the first time, that it may hand back land to some white farmers whose farms were forcibly taken away from them during the height of the country’s controversial land reform programme.

This comes a decade and a half after the Zimbabwean government seized large swaths of land from white farmers in the country - a move that saw a drastic deterioration in the country's economy.

According to The Telegraph, Minister of Lands Douglas Mombeshora said provincial leaders had been tasked to come up with names of white farmers they wanted to remain on their farms. The farms should be "of strategic economic importance".

"We have asked provinces to give us the names of white farmers they want to remain on farms so that we can give them security of tenure documents to enable them to plan their operations properly," Mombeshora was quoted as saying.

Compensation process

Webmaster's Commentary:

Successful agriculture is not just achieved with luck; it is achieved through science and education.

Zimbabwe, formerly Rhodesia, used to be the breadbasket of Africa.

I have to wonder how many former farm owners will actually return; I would doubt it will be many, after having been kicked off their farms.

The government of Zimbabwe might well want to consider hiring agricultural specialists, who focus on food crop production, to teach the people who have the land how to get decent yields, and for the government to buy the tools necessary, to bring organic, sustainable methods to the process of farming in this country.

People around the world are paying a pretty penny these days for non-GMO crops; perhaps not a bad idea, in terms of the Zimbabwean government's long term agricultural focus.

Russia plans to ship fuel from Crimea to Syria

Russia plans to supply Syria with 200,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas per year via the Crimean port of Kerch, two trading sources told Reuters.

The plans are a further sign of cooperation between the two countries despite hopes in the West that Russia might stop shielding President Bashar al-Assad from pressure to step aside.

Moscow had been shipping significantly lower volumes of LPG to Syria via Kerch before Russia annexed the Crimea peninsula from Ukraine in March 2014.

The United States and the European Union, which say the seizure of Crimea violates international law, have imposed sanctions on individuals and business in Crimea, which include restrictions on use of the Kerch port.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is interesting that no one at Reuters wanted to sign their name to this piece of codswallop.

Would someone please send Reuters a message, please that the "Big Lie" no longer works, and whatever credibility this alleged new organisation ever had, has now been well and truly flushed?!?

Russia did not annex Crimea.

After a US/NATO/ECB Putsch against the previous government last year, and the illegal installation of Poroshenko was accomplished, Crimea found itself without a legitimate government.

At that point, Crimea, which had been historically a part of Russia, until it was annexed by Kruschiev in the 50's, decided to request to become a part of the Russian Federation, in a free and fair election, witnessed by international observers. Russia accepted this referendum, and Crimea was again part of Russia, through the will of the Crimean people; not an annexation by Russia.

Russia has done nothing wrong, and the world knows this.

The US government narrative on Crimea is an absolute piece of fabrication, to goad Russia into a military conflict and thinking Americans have come to the place where they know they cannot trust anything the Us government says...except, occasionally about the weather; sometimes, they do get actually that right.

Obama Is Sending Military-Grade Spy Gear To Egypt. What Could Go Wrong?

President Barack Obama's State Department has approved the sale to Egypt of a sophisticated, military-grade mobile surveillance system that experts and activists fear Cairo's authoritarian regime will use against the country's citizens.

The State Department says that Egypt will only use the system on the Egyptian border with war-torn Libya, where a branch of the Islamic State group is mushrooming. But the current Egyptian government sees domestic critics as existential threats at least on par with the extremist group.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Obama knows precisely what the Al-Sisi government will do with this equipment.

As reported in US NEWS on 25 July, 2016:

The death sentences issued June 16 against former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and 90 Muslim Brotherhood members raised the concerns of political parties on the continued violence in the Sinai Peninsula, with the possibility of this violence expanding across Egypt. The Associated Press RELATED Egypt Court Confirms Ousted President Morsi's Death Sentence A sheikh from the Sawarka tribe, one of the largest tribes in Sinai, told Al-Monitor on condition of anonymity that Morsi’s death sentence will adversely affect Sinai. He said that the innocent people of Sinai will pay the price of the continued power struggle between the Egyptian army and the Brotherhood. According to the sheikh, the death sentences will translate into armed violence in Sinai.

IF the above is, in fact, likely as these death sentences are carried out (and with 106 to be executed - that will almost have to be done by rotating firing squads with prisoners lined up in shackles, and the corpses dragged away en masse), this equipment will most likely mean more arrests, more executions...and more violence against the sitting government of Egypt.

This action on the part of the US government, demonstrates yet more incontrovertible proof that one of the most crucial criteria for getting hired by this Administration is the pathological inability to think any scenario through to its logical conclusion.

Three top Democrats are accusing the Department of Housing and Urban Development of quietly removing a key clause in its requirements for taxpayer-guaranteed mortgage insurance in order to spare two banks recently convicted of federal crimes from being frozen out of the lucrative market.

HUD’s action is the latest in a series of steps by federal agencies to eliminate real-world consequences for serial financial felons, even as the Obama administration has touted its efforts to hold banks accountable.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There is utterly no accountability in the US government, at any level, whatsoever; what we have is a toxic, incestuous relationship between large corporations, and the politicians they buy. It is just that simple.

We are no more a government "of the people, by the people and for the people; this country has devolved to a government "of the corporations, by the corporations, and for the corporations.

House Republicans want to impose greater oversight over the Federal Reserve, moves that the central bank’s top official claims would damage the U.S. economy.

Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen testified before Congress this week as part of a semiannual appearance with lawmakers. She used part of her time before the House Financial Services Committee to speak out against legislative proposals to expand congressional review of the Fed’s decision-making.

“Efforts to further increase transparency, no matter how well intentioned, must avoid unintended consequences that could undermine the Federal Reserve’s ability to make policy in the long-run best interest of American families and businesses,” Yellen said

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to Chairwoman Yellen: your policies, including tacit approval of the off-shoring/outsourcing of American jobs by multinational corporations, has destroyed American manufacturing, and with it, American lives.

Corporations love this process, shopping jobs to the cheapest labor pools they can find; but what happens to those Americans who are now without jobs due to that process?!?

Chairwoman Yellen, what happens, when people lose those jobs is a downward spiral to absolute hopelessness and helplessness. People lose their homes; their credit; and potentially health care; their access to school for their kids may well be in peril also.

But of course, as the representative of a huge private central bank, masquerading, badly, as an arm of US government (and we all know, the Fed is no more "Federal" than is the shipping company Federal Express), people do not matter to you or your colleagues; only profit.

I would, therefore, strongly encourage the Federal government to disband the Federal Reserve, and create money, as it is Constitutionally empowered to do, as a public utility, and not as a loan at interest.

Earlier this week, we wrote about a troubling move by the US State Department to “upgrade” Malaysia from a “tier 3? country to a “tier 2? country regarding human trafficking. This move came despite a near total lack of evidence of any improvement by Malaysia. In fact, just two months ago 139 mass graves were discovered for migrant workers who had been trafficked and/or held for ransom. And the US ambassador to Malaysia had publicly criticized the country for failing to tackle its massive human trafficking problem.

The timing could not be worse from a visual perspective but within minutes of the Eurogroup confirming that they approved the €7.16 billion bridge loan (which will merely be recycled back to The ECB to ensure the appearance of normalcy continues), local reports note that the Greek finance ministry says banks will not re-open on Monday (as promised).

The elites get their money...

Webmaster's Commentary:

Monday may well see massive unrest in the major cities in Greece.

And if there is unrest, it would not be beyond the IMF and European creditors to hire one of the private, global mercenary armies to put that unrest down, with extreme prejudice.

This tactic is certainly not new to the IMF. As reported at in 1997, regarding a hydra-headed corporate entity called "Executive Outcomes" or EO, for short:

Salaries for EO hires range anywhere from $2000-$13,000 per month depending on the worker's experience and area of expertise. Contract military instructors receive approximately $2500 each month, while pilots receive closer to $7,000 each month.(86) These salaries often quadruple the amount that can be earned in the most prestigious government armies of Africa. In addition to a high income, EO provides life insurance for its workers.(87) In Sierra Leone, International Monetary Fund (IMF) money was used to finance EO's contract fee. Western powers supported the IMF initiative, remembering the long protracted war in Liberia and its devastating effect on the economy.(88) EO and its affiliated companies reportedly reaped further financial benefits from the contracted diamond mining concessions.(89) The Kono diamond fields yield approximately $300 million dollars in diamonds annually.(90) One report asserts that, in total, EO reportedly acquired payments valued at around $100 million dollars for their services of less than a year.(91) EO's annual revenues are reportedly between $25 million and $40 million dollars.(92) According to EO its revenue for the last four years was $55 million (U.S. dollars).(93)

I would not be willing to bet against the IMF having relationships with multiple private mercenary armies of this kind.

The government, having capitulated fully, has completely lost the trust of the Greek people.

And were I a betting person, if there is massive unrest in Greece next week, you can trust that the whorespondents and presstitutes in the US have been given their marching orders by their producers to focus on ABG (anything but Greece!!)

Update: according to an article in

Greek banks will reopen on Monday as Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras rebuilds his government to shore up support for a bailout agreed with the country’s creditors. The banks, which have remained closed since June 29, will open July 20, the government said on Saturday. Most capital controls concerning withdrawals and money transfers will remain, and while the daily limit was held at 60 euros ($65), a cumulative limit of 420 euros a week was set, it said. Lenders will reopen a week after Tsipras and creditors agreed to a bailout program and Greek lawmakers approved legislation needed to release funding for the country. Hours after the vote, the European Central Bank approved emergency financing for the country’s lenders and the European Union finalized a bridge loan on Friday to provide a stop-gap until a full three-year rescue program, worth as much as 86 billion euros, is settled.

Guess this will all be sorted, one way or the other, by Monday morning in Greece.

Once again, another convenient shooting has helped supercharge anger, hatred, fear, and division across the Western World after an alleged "Islamist extremist" opened fire on and killed 4 US Marines at a recruiting station in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Without any knowledge of how the US has in fact created Al Qaeda and its many global affiliates, including vicious terrorist groups plaguing Southeast Asia, and the most notorious to date, the so-called "Islamic State" (ISIS), the American public will predictably react in a manner that will simply further justify America's meddling across the globe amid its self-created and perpetuated "War on Terror." It will also help in efforts to further tighten control over the American public itself, with increased justifications for expanding police state measures and future pushes to disarm the American people.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If, in fact, the FBI has been tracking this family for years, why were they unable to prevent the tragedy in Chattanooga last week?!?

Either this agency, charged with protecting Americans, is the most sloppy, pathetically incapable bunch of people ever to work for this agency, who should be collectively and immediately fired en masse, or...there was some kind of foreknowledge, and this horrific act was allowed to happen.

And unfortunately, this wouldn't be the first time something like this happened.

As reported at in January of this year:

he Justice Department on Wednesday issued a press release trumpeting its latest success in disrupting a domestic terrorism plot, announcing that “the Joint Terrorism Task Force has arrested a Cincinnati-area man for a plot to attack the U.S. Capitol and kill government officials.” The alleged would-be terrorist is 20-year-old Christopher Cornell (above), who is unemployed, lives at home, spends most of his time playing video games in his bedroom, still addresses his mother as “Mommy” and regards his cat as his best friend; he was described as “a typical student” and “quiet but not overly reserved” by the principal of the local high school he graduated in 2012. The affidavit filed by an FBI investigative agent alleges Cornell had “posted comments and information supportive of [ISIS] through Twitter accounts.” The FBI learned about Cornell from an unnamed informant who, as the FBI put it, “began cooperating with the FBI in order to obtain favorable treatment with respect to his criminal exposure on an unrelated case.” Acting under the FBI’s direction, the informant arranged two in-person meetings with Cornell where they allegedly discussed an attack on the Capitol, and the FBI says it arrested Cornell to prevent him from carrying out the attack. he known facts from this latest case seem to fit well within a now-familiar FBI pattern whereby the agency does not disrupt planned domestic terror attacks but rather creates them, then publicly praises itself for stopping its own plots. First, they target a Muslim: not due to any evidence of intent or capability to engage in terrorism, but rather for the “radical” political views he expresses. In most cases, the Muslim targeted by the FBI is a very young (late teens, early 20s), adrift, unemployed loner who has shown no signs of mastering basic life functions, let alone carrying out a serious terror attack, and has no known involvement with actual terrorist groups

Sorry, folks: but if the FBI was allegedly following this family for years, there is no middle ground possible here whatsoever.

And the other question that nags me is, rather than shoot to kill, would it not have been more logical to shoot to wound, so that this man could be interrogated, to find out if he was a "lone wolf", or part of a larger organization?!?

It almost appears that the people in control of the situation did not want the public to know anything which would disturb the official narrative here; and I find that very troubling as well.

The Agenda Behind ISIS’ Cultural Genocide

By Maram Susli

In what UNESCO is calling ‘Cultural Cleansing’, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) have begun destroying 2000-year-old Syrian statues in the ancient city of Palmyra and are claiming to have rigged the ancient ruins with explosives. This follows the systematic destruction of historical sites across the Middle East. So far ISIS has destroyed several sites across Iraq, which includes the destruction and looting of Mosul Museum, the destruction of the 3000-year-old Assyrian city of Nimrud and the bulldozing of the 2000-year-old fortress city of Hatra. Recently ISIS militants threatened to destroy Egypt’s Sphinx and pyramids.

While the world watches ISIS terrorists destroy the relics of the very birth place of civilization, we must reflect upon the reason why this is happening and how we have reached this point...

Blaming the Victim: Greece is a Nation Under Occupation

In the early hours of Thursday morning, July 16, the Greek Parliament passed a host of austerity measures in order to begin talks on a potential third bailout of 86 billion euros. The austerity measures were pushed onto the Parliament by Greece’s six-month-old leftist government of Syriza, elected in late January with a single mandate to oppose austerity. So what exactly happened over the past six months that the first anti-austerity government elected in Europe has now passed a law implementing further austerity measures?

Greece’s Lesson For Russia

Greece’s lesson for Russia, and for China and Iran, is to avoid all financial relationships with the West. The West simply cannot be trusted. Washington is committed to economic and political hegemony over every other country and uses the Western financial system for asset freezes, confiscations, and sanctions. Countries that have independent foreign policies and also have assets in the West cannot expect Washington to respect their property rights or their ownership. Washington freezes or steals countries’ assets, or in the case of France imposes multi-billion dollar fines, in order to force compliance with Washington’s policies. Iran, for example, lost the use of $100 billion, approximately one-fourth of the Iranian GDP, for years simply because Iran insisted on its rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Greece Surrendered: But to Whom Exactly?

On July 12, Greece surrendered abjectly and totally. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who had promised to combat the austerity measure that are driving the Greek people to ruin, poverty and suicide, betrayed all his promises, denied the will of the people expressed in the July 5 referendum, and led the Greek parliament to accept an agreement with the nation’s creditors even worse than all those that had already caused the economy to shrink and which further abandoned the last scraps of national sovereignty.

We Are All Greeks Now

The poor and the working class in the United States know what it is to be Greek. They know underemployment and unemployment. They know life without a pension. They know existence on a few dollars a day. They know gas and electricity being turned off because of unpaid bills. They know the crippling weight of debt. They know being sick and unable to afford medical care. They know the state seizing their meager assets, a process known in the United States as “civil asset forfeiture,” which has permitted American police agencies to confiscate more than $3 billion in cash and property. They know the profound despair and abandonment that come when schools, libraries, neighborhood health clinics, day care services, roads, bridges, public buildings and assistance programs are neglected or closed. They know the financial elites’ hijacking of democratic institutions to impose widespread misery in the name of austerity. They, like the Greeks, know what it is to be abandoned.

Drone rage puts stomper in court

A stoush over a drone came to a head in a quiet reserve leaving one man in the dock and another's flying craft in tatters.

Aaron Wagstaff was flying his drone in Waikanae on Monday. He paid $1700 for the 30cm-square "Phantom 3" remote-controlled craft to take scenic shots.

After it landed, Simon Done walked over and stomped on it with his right foot, smashing it. He says he was standing up for people's privacy but Mr Wagstaff wasn't convinced.

"I'm not sure why he did it," Mr Wagstaff said yesterday.

"I was just flying it over the river and there was a family watching and asking me questions and then I landed it and he said something about, 'don't you know you're not allowed to fly within 150m of someone'.

"I was picking it up and he came along and stomped on it. I still can't believe it happened to be honest. It was just completely out of the blue."

Wolfgang Halbig and Sandy Hook: Trick or Treason?

Among the most curious aspects of the Sandy Hook event (which have puzzled many students)include the presence of a sign saying, "Everyone must check in!", Port-a-Potties, boxes of bottled water and pizza cartons in the Firehouse, name tags on lanyards and parents cheerfully bringing their children to the scene of (what was alleged to be) a child-shooting massacre. Wolfgang and his attorney were able to extract from Newtown First Selectman (which is an office), Patricia Llorda, that the sign had been placed there, not by the city, but by Homeland Security, which drew audible gasps from those who were present:

All of this, of course, is consistent with the FEMA manual for the event, which declares there will be a rehearsal on 13 December 2012, where the event will "go live" on 14 December, where it states (in the manual) that everyone must check in and that refreshments and restrooms will be provided. The reason Wolfgang has been unable to obtain information as innocuous as who had provided the Port-a-Potties is because it would have revealed that they were delivered on 13 December, the day before the alleged shooting, which would have thereby exposed the entire hoax. The FOIA hearings were therefore getting too close to the truth and had to be subverted, which was done by the attorney, Monte Frank, elected to Head the Connecticut Bar, which appears to be his reward for managing the cover-up:

Undercover Vancouver Police officer Mark Horsley uncovers kindness in Downtown Eastside

A police officer who posed as a disabled man to catch thieves plaguing Vancouver's troubled Downtown Eastside was hit with unexpected kindness and compassion instead.

Police launched the undercover assignment last spring after a string of attacks and robberies against people in wheelchairs.

More than half of the crimes occurred in the city's Downtown Eastside, a neighbourhood known for its large homeless population, street drugs, crime and prostitution.

For five days, Staff Sgt. Mark Horsley wheeled through the neighbourhood in a wheelchair. He told people he had a brain injury and couldn't count and wore a waist wallet with money spilling out.

Expecting to encounter street thieves, Horsley, a 30-year police veteran, instead met men and women who looked out for him, gave him money and even prayed for him.

The Chattanooga Event Is a CIA/ISIS False Flag Operation

With regard to this event coinciding with Jade Helm, do you think this makes American soldiers, everywhere, more or less likely to carry out heinous acts against American citizens when ordered to do so, with regard to the Jade Helm drill?

People, in the name of self-preservation will do the unthinkable! I have just suggested one possible motive. And where we see ISIS involvement, the CIA is not far away. No doubt, some will say that the last statement is too conspiratorial. However, let me remind you that I have twice interviewed Scott Bennett and this operation has the CIA’s fingerprints all over it.

ISIS Is Funded By the CIA and Scott Bennett Can Can Prove It: ISIS is funded by the CIA, so says Scott Bennett who was a U.S. Army Special Operations Officer (11th Psychological Operations Battalion, Civil Affairs-Psychological Operations Command), and a global psychological warfare-counterterrorism analyst, formerly with defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton.

When the Trucks Stop Delivering, ”The System” Will Collapse

Collectively speaking, most Americans take for granted the system in place to deliver essential supplies to their area. “The system,” an underlying infrastructure that keeps goods, services and commerce in America flowing creates a sense of normalcy and order. Food, water, gasoline and medications are just a few of the items restocked weekly in order for our dependent society to maintain a steady flow. What many fail to grasp is just how fragile the system is and just how quickly it can collapse.

Iran’s Long-Game Diplomatic Strategy

Iran has sought negotiations with the U.S. for two decades, but both Democratic and Republican administrations favored hostility demanded by Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Now that Iran nuclear deal is completed, the attention of Western news media and political commentators is predictably focused overwhelmingly on the opposition to the agreement within the U.S. Congress and from Israel and the Saudi-led Sunni Arab coalition.

That media lens misses the real significance of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which is that Iran succeeded in negotiating an agreement with the United States that upheld its national right to a nuclear program despite the obvious vast disparity in power between the two states. That power disparity between the global hegemon and a militarily weak but politically influential regional “middle power” has shaped not just the negotiating strategies of the two sides during the negotiations but, more importantly, how they came about in the first place.
