'Yom Kippur riot' in Israeli city

Riots have broken out in the mixed city of Acre, reportedly triggered when an Israeli Arab man drove his car during the Yom Kippur religious holiday.

Dozens of cars and shops were damaged as hundreds of people took to the streets, Haaretz newspaper reported.

Reverse Kristallnacht in Israel ?

Reading the bbc article made me think that the zionut editors there were being very coy about something.

To confirm that it really was the jews making the ruckus i had a look at Haaretz and saw that the core of the issue really was that there are 29 Jewish families and 3 Arab families in a housing project.

I don't believe that it is the 3 Arab families who are agitating for the 29 Jewish families to leave, and it this which is being fudged by both the bbc and haaretz.
