When all is said and done, the US administration desperately needs an "October Surprise" to distract American taxpayers from what the degree to which they will have been financially screwed by this bailout package, (which privatizes profit, and socializes the risk),which appears to be on the verge of of passing as of today.

Note: US military homeland security forces are due to deploy on America's streets this coming Wednesday, October 1st.

Also note: part of their training includes the testing of allegedly non-lethal weapons (such as tasers) on each other.
