Types With Tired Fingers | WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

Types With Tired Fingers

I have recently had a religious epiphany. I have decided to convert to the Sun Dance faith. This is a religion practiced by many of the North American native people for thousands of years. It's easy to be a Sun Dancer; you can see the Sun! That's a definite plus compared to religions relying on that imaginary playmate in the sky.

I have long felt a kinship with my newly adopted religion and people as you can see in this photo of myself and my wife from the early 1990s.

In the spirit of traditional naming custom I have taken an aspect of my life as a blogger and adopted my new Native American name, "Types With Tired Fingers." Because I am now religiously connected with the original people of the North American continent, who have been there for thousands of years, I hereby call on the United States Government to withdraw and return this land to its rightful traditional owners, myself included. After all, "We" were here first!

Sounds silly, doesn't it?

And it is.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Back in 800 AD, a bunch of Central Asian Khazars converted to Judaism, and now because they have adopted the religion of the ancient Hebrews claim a higher right to the lands of Palestine than the Palestinians who have been there for two thousand years.

This article points out the silliness of that claim!

Mike, I disagree with you

Mike, I disagree with you about religion but I gotta say, that's a GREAT picture of you and Claire! Thanks for sharing. ;-) I believe it is our moral obligation to fight evil and oppression in the world, and to work for good with others who have differing beliefs. And you're great at that and it has earned my respect.
As Pope Francis recently stated "And we all have a duty to do good. And this commandment for everyone to do good, I think, is a beautiful path towards peace. If we, each doing our own part, if we do good to others, if we meet there, doing good, and we go slowly, gently, little by little, we will make that culture of encounter: we need that so much. We must meet one another doing good. 'But I don't believe, Father, I am an atheist!' But do good: we will meet one another there."

Khazars converted to Judaism

Judaism is not the religion of the Hebrew. The Jews affected the garb and trappings of the Hebrew to project the immage that they were one and the same. They are not and never have been. The Talmud is their "religious" law book and it has nothing to do with the Hebrew Law of Moses nor is it connected in any way to Christianity.
