Tax Amnesty as Economic Stimulus

Congress is looking for ways to raise money as well as stimulate the economy. Many hard-working Americans, despite good intentions, have fallen behind on their taxes -- it could be divorce, medical problems, or the challenges of a business during hard times. These life situations often lead to an unfortunate dropping out of the tax system. If the taxes cannot be paid, the returns are often not filed.

I urge Congress and the Secretary of the Treasury to offer amnesty to the 6.1 million IRS non-filers if they come forward and pay the taxes they owe.

Webmaster's Commentary: 

Instead of tax amnesty, how about tax FORGIVENESS! How about a modern revival of Jubilee?

All taxes do is impoverish the people to keep them working. But we are already impoverished and we are working as hard as we can while seeing our lives' work dissolve before us, and the burden of taxes is so great (not to mention all the debt being piled on us faster than we can ever pay it off) that it is just destroying any and all hope for the future and with it any enthusiasm to try to work our way out of this mess.

It's all printed paper money created out of thin air anyway. And the Fed is printing it up like crazy to bail out the corporations. How about a bailout for WE THE PEOPLE?

Let us face it. If we are so much in debt that we can never work our way out, why would anyone feel want to work at all?

Fishing is fun, and you can trade the fish for vegetables, bong hits, or beers.. or anything else.

A commercial fishing boat produces enought fish to feed a thousand people a day, their main source of protein..

Screw working, unless it is for yourself.. However every once in awhile.. Somebody gets a 'Calling'.. To spread the
truth...'Good on you'.. Please keep doing what you do.

Don't go fishing.. The laws are now Draconian.

Fishing was fun.
