The vote by the House of Representatives to defeat the Wall Street bailout plan is the first act of political courage that the Congress of the United States has mounted in the last seven years. The fact that it was due largely to right-wing Republicans afraid of going down with the sinking ship of the witless leader they have followed blindly throughout his reign is a delicious irony -- but the whys and wherefores of the vote are not important. What matters is that one of America's moribund institutions has flickered to life long enough to derail a disastrous action that would have shoved the nation even deeper into the pit of corruption and ruin where it has been mired for so long.

poorrichardEasterling.. No shit.. And these slime buckets will try to push thru some kind of slippery weasel words: That they have a 'New Proposal To Make'.. And, "puff puff puff".. and furthermore.. "The Full Faith and Credit of the United States of America is behind this plan".. Bullshit on that!
Hang the members of the Federal Reserve, and imprison every CEO of these thieving banking institutions... No Bail.. So they can't skip back to Israel. From where they can't be extradited..
Since waterbording is not officially torture.. We should 'as a democracy' ask each of them a few questions.
The shadow of the pitchfork is upon them. And may it chase them for the rest of their lives.
May that also be true for those who voted for the Bailout.. The congressmen/women should be fired, and never again be allowed to speak in the public's interests.
Throw them out of office NOW!.
