Revealed: The CCTV cameras spying on hundreds of classrooms

CCTV monitors classrooms at one in 14 schools, according to a survey.

The poll of teachers also found that almost a quarter feared there might be more cameras hidden around the campus that they did not know about.

Most said their schools were fitted with surveillance cameras. Almost 80 per cent said there were cameras at the entrance and more than 7 per cent said there were some in classrooms.

Nearly 10 per cent of teachers polled by the Association of Teachers and Lecturers said there were cameras in the lavatories.

Cameras in the lavatories eh!

They tell you the cameras prevent crime. That means some kids are criminals right? So, some kids grow up and remain criminals.

In fact, some of these criminals, as adults, eventually work in schools. Some of them are even pedophiles and perverts. These people will abuse ther cameras for their own sick benefits.

CCTV cameras

Last year at the local high school, a worker spotted someone wearing a ski mask in the cafeteria (at 6:30 AM, well before classes started). The SWAT team was called in and classes were cancelled. The 14 cameras around the perimeter of the school failed to record any suspicious character. The ski mask was never found.

This had all the earmarks of a Homeland Security drill.

What are the cameras there for?
