Northern Rock turns away customers as deposits surge

British lender Northern Rock is being forced to turn away customers after being deluged with people seeking the safety of a deposit with a state-run bank.

Webmaster's Commentary: 

So, the banks that screwed up and wound up nationalized get the customers, and the banks that were run well enough to stay out of trouble suffer for it.
