This is a hoax.

This is supposedly done with a knife by a man who beat and kicked her? He seems to have gone out of his way not to leave any permanent damage. The original news story described the woman as "maimed."

The "B" is backwards, as though drawn while looking in a mirror.

The black eyes look like they were done with makeup, especially on the left. When you are hit in the eye the tiny vessels in the eye's sclera will break resulting in a bloodshot look to the eye. None can be seen here.
