THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

Truth needs no law to support it. Truth is self-evident to all. Truth withstands re-examination. Truth survives questions. Throughout history, from Galileo to Zundel, only lies and liars have resorted to the courts to enforce adherence to dogma." -- Michael Rivero

Jim Cramer throws in the towel

The host of CNBC's "Mad Money" went on the Today show Monday and told investors to get out.

"Whatever money you may need for the next five years, please take it out of the stock market right now, this week," he said. "I do not believe that you should risk those assets in the stock market right now.”

Conflict in Interest

I think Cramer is great. This guy works very hard and I have to have respect for a guy that picks up his own phone. The time I had a chance to talk shop with him, over the phone was moment I won't ever forget.

But Jim does have a conflict of interest being he manages money and his media show can move markets.

This message to Mom and Pop to take their money out of the market translates into Jim is short.

Now don't let this take anything away from Jim. Wall Street is a pirate's ball. If you want a friend, buy a dog. Jim is putting his clients first which is the first rule. He can play ball with the best and the most toxic. I like Jim very much.
