THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

"Imperialism today is taking place in the context of...the 'universalization' of capitalism. It is not now primarily a matter of territorial conquest or direct military or colonial control. It is not now a matter of capitalist powers invading non-capitalist powers in order to bleed them dry directly and by brute force. Now it is more a matter of ensuring that the forces of the capitalist market prevail in every corner of the world (even if this means marginalizing and impoverishing parts of it), and of manipulating those market forces to the advantage of the most powerful capitalist economies and the United States in particular." ... "Military force is still central to the imperialist project, in some ways more than ever."-- Political scientist Ellen Meiksins-Wood, Z magazine Nov 1999, p26

HAPPY 'KICK OUT THE GOVERNMENT' DAY!!!

JACK ALDERMAN SCHEDULED FOR EXECUTION ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2008 - ACT NOW!

Jack Alderman is the longest serving prisoner on death row in the United States. Sentenced to death in June 1975 for the murder of his wife, Jack has been on death row in Georgia for over 34 years and is scheduled to die by lethal injection on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.

John Brown, a neighbor and former colleague of Jack's, confessed to killing Jack's wife, Barbara Jean, and staging an accident in an attempt to cover up the crime. Brown claimed that he and Jack killed Barbara Jean together and that Jack promised to pay him for his role in the killing. There was no forensic evidence and Jack was convicted on just one man's word, the word of a man who was admittedly drunk and high on drugs the night of the murder

You have a government that has killed more than 1 million VERY innocent Iraqis and they get paid for this.

This just shows you that the US, as a nation, must die because the people have no say in what their government does "in their name".
