Thank you for emailing Governor Linda Lingle's office. A recent article in WorldNetDaily.com (October 26, 2008) claiming that Hawai‘i Governor Linda Lingle sealed Sen. Barack Obama's birth certificate is false.
Search the web for "Lingle seals Obama birth certificate" and you will see all the right wing websites that carried Jerome Corsi's original story, without question and without checking.
All these websites were party to a "Swift Boat" attack on Obama.
WRH correctly pointed out that ALL birth records, not just Obama's are treated as confidential records due to identity theft.
Please take a few moments to visit those websites that carried Corsi's fabrication, and where possible post the text of Governor Lingle's letter.
UPDATE: I just now received the following from the office of Hawaii's Governor Linda Lingle.
"The state registrar of the Department of Health’s vital statistics record office can verify Sen. Barack Obama’s birth certificate."
And unless the McCain people feel like trying to raise on a busted flush, this is the end of this particular Swift Boat.

Something like this, with no seal and the certification number blacked out, wouldn't even be accepted as valid id for a drivers license - or for anything at all, for that matter - let alone for proof of USA birth for the job of president. BH Obama's granny and relatives in Kenya say that he was born there not here. So what's the plan in this idiotic scam of a mock election - get the homosexual dope addict Kenyan elected and then impeach him because he wasn't born in the USA and get all the blacks rioting so they can declare martial law and patriot act X?

Notice how the text on the real one is written on a typewriter. BH Obama's text looks like it was computer generated. Also, his looks brand new, like something that just popped out of the inkjet printer, not aged at all.

The issue here is very simple...if Obama has a valid birth certificate showing that he was born in a Hawaiian hospital, all he has to do is PROVE IT! Very simple. Why won't he?
I mean this is ridiculous...if he is a US citizen, as he claims, isn't it worth it to him to just PROVE IT? It doesn't matter one whit what Gov Lingle says...IF he was born there, PROVE IT by releasing the original hospital generated birth certificate!
If he doesn't prove it, it will be sort of embarassing to be called out of office a year down the road...if you guys really support him, you should be demanding that he prove it too! Unbelieveable!

If you have PROOF that this is a fake, trot it out. Meanwhile, I wish to point out that the purpose of this article is to remind everyone that Jerome Corsi has been caught in an outright lie. And before you start yelling cover-up please recall that Obama is a Democrat and Lingle is a REPUBLICAN and hardly likely to be doing any favors for Obama.
So at this point, given the proven fabrication by Corsi, the credibility of this whole issue is pretty much gone.

I have no idea where he was born...but if he wasn't born in the US, he is not eligible to run for President. I'm afraid you need more proof than just a picture Mike!
