Fraudster Bernard Madoff's glitzy spoils auctioned to compensate victims

Confiscated items ranging from monogrammed socks to 17 Rolex watches,plus furs and necklaces that once adorned his wife Ruth, were sold off by the US Marshals Service to provide some compensation to his victims.

Madoff is serving a 150-year sentence for masterminding a Ponzi scheme fraud of up to $65 billion, the biggest financial scam in history.
