One can be amused by the portrayal of the collapse of the USSR. The USSR evolved into a more terrible beast is all. It surely has not gone away.

The KGB has not gone away either. The whole KGB aparatus now works for the CIA and a wholly complicit Putin takes his marching orders from the CIA. It's a great act he is now putting on for the world.

But Putin simply is acting in Russia's best interest.

In this world, it always pays far more to play along with those with all the money in the world, than it ever is to fight with them.

And socialist states now are much more realistic in their ideological crowings.

Today, learned-socialism is seen and portrayed as a system and method of governance that will allow the socialist state to out-compete the capitalist state.

All this means is their oligarchs are more ruthless than our oligarchs. We'll see about that.

If we really want to believe that the Russians, the Chinese, the Venezuelans and the Cubans are out-performing the U.S., Britain, Germany and Japan, then we can all go ahead and collapse and buy Mao hats.

Under these wild theories, we should then be expected to transform ourselves into a state practicing learned-capitalism. Maybe so...

It's a tough sell, though.

First of all, capitalist democracies perform the bidding and, enact those policies that best address the needs of our capitalist oligarchy.

There has never been a more grievous misnomer in the history of man, than a capitalist democracy, unless it might be a capitalist free market democracy.

Talk about spin! I'm getting dizzy just considering all the lies people commonly believe.

It is no wonder the U.S. cannot elect a president that has the interests of its people in mind!

And, uhhh... And, uhhhh... is about the best you can expect.

What we're seeing is a bid by an aristocracy of the capitalist oligarchy in this country demanding the government adopt them all as orphans that require some socialist intervention on their behalf.

But there are plenty of other much more aggressive and voracious members of the capitalist oligarchy who are saying, "No way!" to the ongoing bailouts. And they want to eat all the poor orphaned waifs!

And I say, let the feast begin!

Just take one look at this whining capitalist carp, Lehman Brothers CEO Richard Fuld!

This guy stole $300,000,000.00 from Lehman Bros Wall Street Circus, and now has the gall to complain that the federal government didn't bail him out too! Holy freakin' shit!

Nope. Carve them all up as the go belly up one by one.

And, let them and Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac all go under the auctioneers' gavel.

The sooner the better.
