FLASHBACK - Treasury's Paulson- subprime woes likely contained

U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said on Friday the housing market correction appears to be at or near its bottom and that troubles in the subprime mortgage market will not likely spread throughout the economy.

Where is the political opposition to this 'No Fault Capitalism' proposal? How many votes did Bernanke and Paulson receive in the last election? Where is the political opposition saying 'NO'? It does not exist. The BUCK has to stop somewhere?
