The FBI is investigating more than $12,000 in calls to the Middle East and Asia that were made when a hacker broke into the Federal Emergency Management Agency's phone system 10 days ago.
Webmaster's Commentary:
Yeah, that gives all of us a real secure feeling when even FEMA can't keep their phones under control.

Oh reeeeeeeally!?!?!?!?
chillyphantom$12,000? That's an awful LOT of phone calls for one single hacker to make. Even at 25 cents per minute, figuring that out, it's 33 elapsed days of calling on one phone. Maybe he was using two phones at the same time. That's still 16.5 days. Nope. Not possible.
OK, I forgot that FEMA calls are charged on the taxpayer tab. So Bell makes it a fair it's $200 per minute. That gets it down the the more believable 1 hour.
OR
Maybe it was someone inside trying to make it look like a hacker.
Anyway, hasn't the FBI got more important things to do?
What's their charge, by the minute, to tax payers?
I am left just scratching my
dragline190dI am left just scratching my head on this one. FEMA was hacked for $12,000.00 dollars and the FBI swarms in but when we lose 2.3 Trillion its just not a BIG deal?
