Hell even I have been telling them so for 10 years now but Washington and Wall Street don't listen to anyone but themselves. They fell in love with the idea that they could run an economy without bothering to actually make products to sell to other countries in sufficient quantity to balance the products we import, and that if they just shook the money back and forth hard enough, it would grow all by itself.

Folks, here is the bad news. Forget the pronouncements coming out of Washington DC. This is an election year. If they knew how to fix the economy they would have done it by now.
They haven't. They can't. They don't know how.

Every "solution" being proposed amounts to the same thing. The elites are packing their golden parachutes at the expense of the working people of the United States, and heading for the door.
