Bubonic baloney

Another reason I feel certain it's disinfo is because the Washington Times (a sensationalist rag if ever there was one) claims to have been in touch with an unnamed (naturally) US intelligence source who won't confirm the story, but says that "Al Qaeda" does have biological weaponry and implies that it might have only been a limited mishap that killed one person.

This seems to be the way that deliberate intel disinfo works - it almost always starts with an overseas news outlet, gets quoted all out of proportion by attention-seeking rags and, once it's made the rounds, then gets more or less minimized by "intelligence" sources.

Counting, of course, on the general population missing that last part, and only having a vague idea of what the plague and Al Qaeda are anyway.
