Barak: West must unite with Russia, China against Iran
A short memo to to Israeli Defense Minister Barak, who seems oblivious to the economic consequences of what he is asking Russia and China to do.
As of 2005, Russia was Iran's 7th largest trading partner.

Why would Russia and China do something to throw a monkey wrench into this?
There is no logical or compelling reason for them to.

China is taking over the US one large company at a time. Next are the big 3 auto makers.
If the American people want to avoid losing their country completely,

Israel instigated the criminal assault by Georgia on S.Ossetia,
michaelmthe people of which are overwhelmingly Russian speakers and identify with Russia and had no problems since August joining formally with Russia.
One can thus conclude that at Israel's incitement Georgia attacked people who were Russians in all but name, and now Israel speaks as if that attack on about- to-be-Russians never happened.
And Russia should forget that for Israel's convenience ?
And of China, having the assault by Georgia on S.Ossetia happen on the eve of the Olympics clearly shows that China, if not engaged with the Olympics, would have provided assistance to Iran as Iran would have been attacked by Israel had the Russians got bogged down for several weeks instead of having completed the job in three days.
Why must Olmert and Barak think of other countries as just so many chess pieces, to be moved about at will ?
