Anders Fogh Rasmussen has just insulted the intelligence of the Afghan people, and made himself a laughingstock internationally with that quote.

What "legitimacy" can you possibly ascribe to this absolutely, transparently crooked election?

Absolutely none, zero, zip, nada.

Rasmussen knows this, the Afghans know it, and the whole bloody world knows it.

This process, made to appear as though it was an election, was simply to reinstall Hamid ("Unocal") Karzai back in power, period, end of discussion.
