'You're Dead,' Minn. Man Said After Shooting Teen Intruder

Jurors at the murder trial of a Minnesota homeowner who fatally shot two teenagers in his home heard recordings of the man apparently telling one teen, "You're dead," and then screams from the second teen amid another barrage of gunfire.

The jurors heard the dramatic audio recordings Tuesday involving the homeowner who said he feared for his life after several previous break-ins.

Byron Smith, 65, is charged with first-degree premeditated murder in the slayings of cousins Nick Brady, 17, and Haile Kifer, 18, on Thanksgiving Day 2012. The retired State Department security engineer told police that, after the repeated break-ins, he was so fearful that he installed recording devices in his house.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The only reason for this case to have gone to trial is the gun-grabbers want to demonize people who rely on themselves to protect their homes.

Georgia governor signs bill expanding gun rights

Governor Nathan Deal has signed legislation expanding where people with licenses to carry can bring their guns in Georgia.

A few hundred gun rights advocates gathered to watch Wednesday’s bill signing at an event in Ellijay with top officials including House Speaker David Ralston and bill sponsor Rep. Rick Jasperse.

The bill makes several changes to state law. It allows those with a license to carry to bring a gun into a bar without restriction and into some government buildings that don’t have certain security measures. It also allows religious leaders to decide whether it’s OK for a person with a carry license to bring a gun into their place of worship.

Statists Call For Drone Strikes On Bundy Supporters

Stench of hypocrisy runs rampant

Paul Joseph Watson

April 21, 2014

As a federal appeals court rules that the Obama administration must divulge its legal basis for launching drone strikes against American citizens, many statists opposed to Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy’s stand against the government are calling for him and his supporters to be the victims of what would be America’s first domestic drone attack.

If ever there was a time for a drone strike, I'd say Bundy's self-appointed militia should've been turned into paste on the prairie. #tcot

April 15 was the deadline for residents of New York to register “assault weapons” that they owned before the passage of the state’s SAFE Act gun control law. USING MAFIA TACTICS, Bloomberg Conspires to Completely Disarm Americans

Through a coalition designed to deceive the public, former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is currently pushing for gun confiscations across America which will cause violent crimes against disarmed Americans to explode.

Bloomberg’s ultimate goal for nationwide gun bans was recently revealed by Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Mayor John Tkazyik, who left Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns coalition after realizing it was simply a front to destroy gun rights.

Founded in 2006 by Bloomberg and former Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, Mayors Against Illegal Guns recruits U.S. mayors into its gun control agenda under the guise of “making communities safer” through gun control laws.

Yet as we’ve seen time and time again, gun control only encourages criminals who wantonly ignore laws to commit violence against defenseless Americans.

Chicago: Doctoring The Crime Rate To Mask Democrat Party Failures

Over Easter weekend in Chicago 9 people were killed and 26 wounded in shootings. Apparently gun control isn’t working out to well. This news might comes a surprise to some who believe the crime statistics reported by Rahm Emanuel’s city hall. Chicago magazine examined the city’s crime stats and made an amazing discovery:

Chicago conducted a 12-month examination of the Chicago Police Department’s crime statistics going back several years, poring through public and internal police records and interviewing crime victims, criminologists, and police sources of various ranks. We identified 10 people, including Groves, who were beaten, burned, suffocated, or shot to death in 2013 and whose cases were reclassified as death investigations, downgraded to more minor crimes, or even closed as noncriminal incidents—all for illogical or, at best, unclear reasons.

Then they put the 3D-printing files (or CADs) up on the Internet for free. To folks interested in cutting-edge technology and decentralized experiments in living, Wilson's gun symbolized an age of uncontrollable freedom. To lawmakers, it symbolized a threat that moved faster than, well, a speeding bullet.

A Call to All

Americans, listen up and fear
About what's happening out here
How our bureaucracies do anything to win
They stomp all over rights
Starting State and local fights
Stealing land and property from citizens

How the bureau of mis-management
Doesn't even have to get consent
To spend six million to put one lone rancher down
Cuz, a tortoise might get stepped on
And some fees they disagree on ,,

On May 5, 2013, the world's first 3D-printed plastic gun was fired. Called the Liberator, it was designed and output by a group called Defense Distributed, headed by a 25-year-old Texas law student and committed libertarian named Cody Wilson.

Hand-wringing and debate ensued. Depending on whom you asked, the 3D-printed gun was a deadly threat or an important Second Amendment advance—but, whether they feared it or loved it, most commentators agreed that the Liberator was a major milestone of some kind. Now that a year has passed, it's time to ask just how broadly the gun has transformed society.

Harry Reid’s Nevada family values

WASHINGTON, April 13, 2014 — One thing Harry Reid does well is live up to his moniker, “Dirty Harry.” On his side of the Democrat wing of the organized crime family in Washington, Reid has few equals as a world class bag man.

It may be pure coincidence that the army of heavily armed agents of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) are now pulling back from their positions encircling Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s family ranch, North of Las Vegas. But it’s doubtful. It may have everything to do with a new round of intense scrutiny of Reid’s use of influence to reward family members and campaign donors in lucrative development deals across the state.

Critics of the way federal agencies in Montana handled a recent raid on a company that recycles brass for ammunition are calling for an investigation.

Government officials have declined to respond to allegations that armed officers with weapons drawn locked up USA Brass employees, confiscated their cell phones and otherwise violated their rights.

The incident in Bozeman, Mont., drew little attention from media.

To protect against lead contamination, USA Brass had installed filters and added training. The company had passed a subsequent inspection before officers from the Environmental Protection Agency and FBI arrived, apparently with guns drawn.

The story has spread on the Internet among bloggers and Second Amendment advocates. A blog called Defensive Handguns described the raid this way: “Obama’s storm troopers raided USA Brass in Bozeman.”

Court: Choose between constitutional rights

Quinn was targeted by police because his son – who was suspected of possessing drugs – lived in the same home. His son was absent, and police records reveal officers knew that fact when they broke into Quinn’s home in a no-knock, SWAT-team style forced entry.

Rutherford said the decision lets stand a lower court ruling that “essentially makes lawful gun ownership and possession grounds for police to evade the protections afforded by the Fourth Amendment and improperly penalizes and limits the Second Amendment right to bear arms.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more - we had no awareness of the real situation... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward." -- Aleksandr I. The Obama Administration Wants Gun Owners To Wear RFID Tracking Bracelets?

Attorney General Eric Holder says that gun owners in the United States could eventually be forced to wear RFID tracking bracelets. In fact, in recent testimony in front of Congress he gave the impression that this was something that the Obama administration has been thinking about for quite a long time. Holder seems to think that this would advance the cause of “gun safety” and that gun owners wouldn’t mind having an RFID microchip tracking their every movement. Apparently he does not know gun owners very well, because most of the gun owners that I know would be extremely resistant to the idea of being “chipped”. But this is yet another example of how the Obama administration plans to erode Second Amendment rights. They want to put up as many obstacles as possible to owning and using guns.

The Cliven Bundy Standoff: Wounded Knee Revisited?

Cattle became the successor to buffalo in the late 1860s and early 1870s. That was the era when the ancestors of Cliven Bundy settled in what was to become the State of Nevada, and began to graze cattle in what would later be called the Bunkerville Grazing Allotment. The Bundy family made peaceful and productive use of that allotment for more than 120 years, mixing their labor with the land to create original wealth.

Unfortunately, the Bundy family -- like the American Indians – had been living on a reservation: They were never allowed to exercise ownership of their grazing “allotment,” in much the same way that Indians were not permitted to have clear title to their lands. The land on which the Bundy family raised cattle was “owned” by the government, and the Bundys were required to pay rent – in the form of grazing fees – for the “privilege” of making productive use of it.

Clark County Commisioner Says Bundy Supporters,"Better Have Funeral Plans!

I wonder what financial interests this tub of lard has in this mess!

“I was just told by commissioner Collins of Clark County NV that all of us folks from Utah are a bunch of “inbred bastards” and if we are coming to Clark County NV to support Cliven Bundy we all “better have funeral plans”. We should “turn our asses around on mind our own f-ing business”. Now there’s some classy leadership for you,” wrote Bushman on his official Facebook page.

Last summer Bob Ferris’ wife returned from church looking particularly beautiful so he decided to take a few snapshots with his camera. Just about all submissions, so long as the pictures were tasteful, were allowed entry into the contest.

But Sandra Ferris, who says the contest submission was her husband’s idea, didn’t even get past the qualifying stage.

Say "No" to Eric Holder's Gun-Tracking Bracelets, "Yes" to Psychopath-Detecting Headbands!

Holder: DOJ Gun Control Efforts May Include “Gun Tracking Bracelets”

In a recent discussion on gun violence prevention programs, Attorney General Eric Holder told the House appropriations committee that the Department of Justice is considering smart gun tracking technologies, specifically:

Missouri House Votes to Nullify all Federal Gun Control Measures

Activist Post

By a broad margin, the Missouri state House passed an “emergency” bill that seeks to nullify virtually every federal gun control measure on the books, “whether past, present or future.” House Bill 1439 (HB1439), introduced by Rep. Doug Funderburk (R-St. Charles), passed by a vote of 110-36.

With language inspired by Thomas Jefferson, HB1439 declares that the state rejects the idea of “unlimited submission” to federal power. It also declares that “whenever the federal government assumes powers that the people did not grant it in the Constitution, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force.” ...

Georgia's 'guns everywhere' bill celebrated by pro-gun lobby

It’s been dubbed the “guns everywhere” bill, and once it’s signed into law it will make Georgia the latest state to allow firearms to be carried in churches, bars, airports and classrooms.

The bill, passed with bipartisan support in the legislature, is jam-packed with changes to the state’s gun laws, a sweeping and comprehensive piece of legislation that loosens gun control rather than tightens it. The pending law is awaiting Gov. Nathan Deal's expected signature.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Two things will happen. Crime will plummet, and the gun-grabbers will stage a mass shooting to reverse the law.

Police cadets in New Mexico trained to have “warrior mentality” and to use more deadly force

The face of evil IMHO! This is why all the police murders of Americans by APD!

The director said he'd rather burn his curriculum than disclose it to the media. NEW MEXICO — All new police cadets will be trained to use more deadly force — not less — thanks to a new curriculum by director of the state’s Law Enforcement Academy. Cadets are being trained by the former Army Colonel to have a “warrior mentality” with a strong emphasis on “Officer Survival.” The cadet program, which has also been shortened by six full weeks, leaves cadets more paranoid and more prone to use deadly force, critics say.

Jack Jones, a retired Army colonel, was granted sole authority by the LEA over the training curriculum given to all of New Mexico’s new recruits. He says the old model was too restrictive with the use of deadly force.

“Evil has come to the state of New Mexico. Evil has come to the Southwest. Evil has come to the United States,” Jones said to the Santa Fe New Mexican.

On March 26th the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association (NYSRPA) announced that New York State Police had decided not to enforce "a capricious, ill-conceived and unconstitutional portion of the NY SAFE act"--the seven round magazine limit.

This puts New York State Police in line with the "sensible path taken by the New York Sheriffs' Association and many local law enforcement agencies in not enforcing" the magazine capacity limit.

State Sen. Leland Yee indicted on public corruption charges in major FBI operation

In a stunning criminal complaint, State Sen. Leland Yee has been charged with conspiring to traffick in firearms and public corruption as part of a major FBI operation spanning the Bay Area, casting yet another cloud of corruption over the Democratic establishment in the Legislature and torpedoing Yee's aspirations for statewide office.

Yee, D-San Francisco, highlights a series of arrests Wednesday morning that included infamous Chinatown gangster Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow, whose past includes a variety of charges including racketeering and drug crimes. Targets of the early-morning raids appeared in federal court in San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What is ironic about the gun trafficking charge is the Yee is a notorious gun-grabber and opponent of the Second Amendment.

what is their plan for us?

Some people have all the luck. People in Connecticut, for example. The state cops say they’re coming for the guns. The matronly new chief says no, but the odious Lt. Paul Vance, the front man for the Sandy Hook lie factory, says it’s true and moreover, it’s un-American to oppose them in any way. Not only that: he said that he’s the master. What the hell did that mean?

Let’s say Chief Grandma thinks she’s not lying. If eighty percent of the people refuse to obey “the law,” what’s a gun cop to do? They know you’ve got an “illegal” rifle or magazine, they know where you live. Are they going to let it slide?

The Maryland fathead government has gotten in the act, declaring its cops are coming after 110,000 owners of previously legal rifles and magazines.

In short order she found Joseph Baker in her home; he had broken through two doors to get in. She drew her gun, ordered him to the floor, and told him to "stay still." She then held Baker at gunpoint for 23 minutes while waiting for police to arrive.

Webmaster's Commentary:

BREAKING: Ares Armor Raided by ATF

Despite being granted a restraining order, the ATF has apparently raided San Diego area firearms parts seller Ares Armor anyway. Ares sells 80% lowers which the ATF has classified as “firearms.” The ATF has been pressuring Ares to turn over their sales records or lose them in a raid. Given the threats, earlier this week Ares moved for and was granted a restraining order against such a raid. But the above YouTube video appears to show ATF agents rummaging through Ares, apparently confiscating inventory and, you’d have to assume, their computers and customers records. This video is the only evidence we’ve been able to find of a raid so far.

Temporary Restraining Order Against BATFE

Last week the BATFE Raided EP Armory based on a determination letter that had deemed the 80% Polymer product to be a firearm. The determination letter that the BATFE used to obtain warrants against EP Armory is based on incorrect information about the manufacturing process. The BATFE has been notified of their error and the incorrectness of their determination based on this error.

This week on Monday, March 10th the BATFE threatened to raid us even though they are fully aware that their determination letter is factually incorrect. They requested that we turn over a list of every customer that had purchased a polymer lower from us and turn over the remaining inventory that we have.

Our customer’s privacy is of the utmost importance to us. I cannot in good moral conscience turn over a list of names to the BATFE just because they unduly threaten us with an unjust raid based on information they KNOW TO BE FALSE!

Webmaster's Commentary:

A while back I was at the gun store where I purchase supplies and parts for my black powder firearms. It was a specialty store, carrying ONLY black powder arms and historical recreation supplies. The BATF was in there demanding a list of customers from the store owner, who refused, as black powder arms are exempt from registration and record keeping associated with modern firearms. The BATF guy was belligerent and threatening saying, "We will get around to you guys soon enough!"

Court: Choose between constitutional rights

Rutherford said the decision lets stand a lower court ruling that “essentially makes lawful gun ownership and possession grounds for police to evade the protections afforded by the Fourth Amendment and improperly penalizes and limits the Second Amendment right to bear arms.”

“Whatever the issue might be, whether it’s mass surveillance, no-knock raids, or the right to freely express one’s views about the government, we’ve moved into a new age in which the rights of the citizenry are being treated as a secondary concern by the White House, Congress, the courts, and their vast holding of employees, including law enforcement officials,’ said John W. Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute and author of “A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are no conditions on the Fourth Amendment in the Bill of Rights, so the courts are simply justifying the unconstitutional behavior of the government, and by so doing, delegitimize themselves.

Gun Owners Prepare to Seize Senate from Harry Reid

At GOA’s request, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has bypassed Harry Reid’s stranglehold on the Senate by bringing a pro-gun bill directly onto the Senate calendar.

The bill is H.R. 4118, and it was approved by the House of Representatives on Wednesday by a 250-160 vote. (See the vote here, with “Yea” being the pro-gun vote.) The bill would suspend the individual mandate of the anti-gun ObamaCare program for one year, thus protecting the privacy of gun owners.

Normally, bills that pass out of one chamber are referred to a committee in the other chamber. But Senator Paul intervened by using a parliamentary technique to bring H.R. 4118 onto the calendar, rather than letting it be referred to a Senate committee.

It looks like DHS isn’t the only ammunition hog in the United States

James Smith, Contributor
Activist Post

There are two stories that have come to light recently, the first is the awarding of a contract to a munitions manufacturer for 450,000,000 hollow point rounds for the .40 caliber.

The second story which I wrote is how the Department of Homeland Security had already ordered 200,000,000 rounds of .40 caliber, but also ordered 15,000 gun cleaning kits for the .40 caliber weapons, and has put a request out for a virtual shooting gallery for the .40 caliber handguns.

650,000,000 round of ammunition is quite a bit of lead and brass. It will sure to drive the price of copper and brass way up. But Homeland Security is not alone in their requests.
