Experts: Turkey might be tried for financing ISIL, arms trafficking

Russia's pledge to take the issue of Turkey's alleged financing of terrorist factions within Syria -- such as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) -- to the United Nations after Turkey recently shot down its jet, has stirred speculation that Turkey could be tried in international courts.

Arrest of Turkish journalists over Syria trucks news sparks outrage

Looks like the Turkish people have had it with Erdogan. Coup or Civil war ahead...... or worse.

Domestic and international press institutions and political figures have condemned the Nov. 26 arrest of daily Cumhuriyet editor-in-chief Can Dündar and Ankara bureau chief Erdem Gül for their news report on Syria-bound intelligence trucks.

Turkey’s left-wing opposition has strongly condemned the arrest of two prominent journalists on charges of assisting terrorists, with the leaders of both the Republican People’s Party (CHP) and the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) arguing the “unlawful” decision was personally imposed by President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.

Shunned by US, Turkey looks for alternative oil

Looks like Turkey found that new supply of oil! Something tells me that it just dried up!

Excluded from a US list of countries that will be exempted from the petrol embargo on Iran, Turkey is seeking to buy oil from Libya and Saudi Arabia. ‘We have to replace the supply,’ says Turkish Energy Minister Y?ld?z“.Turkey’s absence from the U.S.’s waiver list regarding the Iran issue doesn’t mean it will not be included,” Y?ld?z told reporters yesterday. “Those talks are carried out on the level of companies,” he added.

Stressing that Turkey’s security of supply was an important issue; the minister said they would not halt purchasing crude oil from Iran unless other suppliers were lined up.

FLASHBACK:German General: NATO Article 5 won’t apply to Turkey’s buffer zone in Syria

In an interview on “Anne Will” ARD-TV broadcast, and stating almost the same words that Davutoglu said on CNN, General Kujat said “look, that’s what Turkey wants to provoke [NATO Article 5]. Therefore it keeps saying ‘we can’t do that alone, others have to participate.’”

In face of then ISIS massacre of Kobane Kurds, he continued bluntly: “Turkey basically wants to drag NATO into this situation because the actual goal of Turkey is to neutralize Assad…ISIS’s actions and what’s happening to the Kurds are subsidiary…and it has to be clearly said that an ally who behaves like this doesn’t deserve the protection of this alliance, an ally who doesn’t intervene for protection in a such tragic situation doesn’t deserve protection himself.”

Lobbyists, in Strategy Session, Conclude That Refugee Crisis “Helps Us” Defeat Regulations

In an audio recording of a strategy session obtained by The Intercept, major trade association lobbyists discussed how the refugee crisis has changed the political dynamics in Washington to their advantage.

In the conference call held last week, lobbyists representing a number of high-polluting industries agreed that the battle between Congress and President Obama on refugee policy will give them the cover they need to attach a legislative rider to the omnibus budget bill that rolls back newly expanded clean water regulation.

Turkey must be removed from NATO: US Army general

Turkey’s downing of a Russian warplane over Syria has proven that the country is a liability to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and must be “ousted” from the Western military alliance, says a retired US Army General.

Vallely said Turkey is poised to take more provocative measures in near future.

Douglas Murray’s Warning to the Jewish Community

Douglas Murray has written a very nice column on the Paris attacks: “Paris attacks: Leaders in two minds while Europe burns.” He points to the “multiculturalism has failed” statements of Angela Merkel and David Cameron—and that, despite no progress on integrating Muslims, Europe is now doubling down on a failed experiment. He points out that even though terrorism is confined to only very few Muslims, it has substantial support in the British Muslim community—at least 27% in a BBC poll, “with another 10 per cent saying they didn’t know whether they were sympathetic to the attackers or refusing to answer the question.” He is very clear that this is a top-down revolution with ever decreasing popular support.

Russia-China Relations and the Downing of Russia’s Jet Fighter by Turkey

The downing of a Russian jet fighter over Syria’s airspace was undertaken by Turkey in consultation with Washington and Brussels. Turkey did not take this decision without getting the greenlight from the Pentagon.

Is this an act of revenge against Russia for bombing the US-sponsored Islamic State in Syria?

The unspoken truth is that Russia is undermining US-NATO’s ground operations inside Syria. The latter are made up of various Al Qaeda affiliated formations which de facto constitute the foot-soldiers of the Western alliance. These ISIS and Al Nusrah rebel forces are in turn led by intelligence operatives and Western special forces, many of whom are deployed by private mercenary companies on contract to US-NATO.

The downing of Russia’s plane by Turkey is a clear act of provocation. What is its broader intent?

How will backlash at the diplomatic level? Is military escalation contemplated by Washington?

Did NATO Just Attack Russia, Or Was It Climate Change’s Fault?

I began this morning reporting on Britain’s next king saying climate change is partly responsible for Syria’s civil war, and his blaming the refugee crisis and civil war there on drought. In an exclusive interview with Sky News, Prince Charles waxes profoundly over the lost Copenhagen climate accord in 2009, and on far reaching strategies you probably never even dreamed of. Then the news came a Russian SU24 fighter/bomber had been shot down by Turkey, and the world turned over. As I type this Twitter, Facebook, and the digital media stream is inundated with a foreign policy horror story. All I can see is Vladimir Putin’s face as Jordan’s king spoke with him, and images of Mr. Obama’s “moderates” machine gunning a pilot before his parachute set down. I wonder if the bad climate will be the cause of World War III?

France and Israël launch a new war in Iraq and Syria

This is a good article with a lot to digest!

On one hand, the French government is mobilising all its media in order to keep its population focused on the attacks of the 13th November. On the other, with Israël, it is launching a new war in Iraq and Syria. The objective is no longer to overthrow the secular Syrian régime, nor to destroy its army, but to create a colonial state straddling the border between Iraq and Syria, to be managed by the Kurds, in order to apply a stranglehold on the Arab states. The dream of an Israeli nation between the Nile and the Euphrates is back.

Presidents Putin and Obama concluded an agreement to destroy the Erdo?an family’s tankers, thereby putting an end to the petrol trafficking. On the same day, and for the first time in eighteen months, the US Central Command bombed the tanker-trucks in Iraq, while the Russian army destroyed a massive number in Syria [3].

Updated Map And List Shows Refugees In 138 U.S. Cities In 36 States Already With More To Be Added

On November 14, 2015 ANP republished a map created by the New York Times back in October 2015 which showed where in the U.S. Syrian refugees had already been resettled since 2011.

We now have additional information provided by U.S. News and World Report via another map along with a list of cities showing how many refugees have been imported into those cities. According to the US News report there are 138 cities in 36 states, many of them states where Governors are now no longer willing to accept Syrian refugees after the multiple Paris terrorist attacks on Friday, November 13, 2015 where it is believed that ISIS terrorists had infiltrated those fleeing Syria in order to gain access to the countries accepting refugees to plan massacres like the ones in Paris where over 120 people were killed.

This is Why Putin Intervened in Syria

On this video you will see some very large explosions. I have no doubt we are seeing small 1-10 kiloton surface and subsurface bursts. These aren't conventional. These aren't ammo dumps or fuel air munitions. Very classic and very dirty, mushroom cloud and all. They may have used tactical nukes in Yemen also. WW3 has been going full bore for 15 years and it is accelerating.
Putin knows that Russia is on the list for takeover and puppetizing so their vast resources can be stolen. Israel made an error due to hubris and Vladimir Putin knew he had to do something. In 2013 the Russian and Chinese Navies stood in the way of a US or Israeli attack on Syria. Somebody may have fired cruise missiles at Syria that never got past those 2 Navies.
Since then everybody has been training and exercising and moving their militaries around like chess pieces. Well the Russians anyway. The US seems to be playing checkers or maybe tiddeley winks.

Congressman Chides Refugees, Says If He Were Syrian, He Would Stay and Fight

Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., appearing on talk radio this week to discuss his opposition to resettling Syrian refugees, said the “first thing” that needs to be done is to “get away from” referring to the individuals fleeing Syria as “refugees.”

Perry explained that while “some of them” are leaving a civil war, he would have stayed.

“With all due respect, if there’s a civil war in my country, I stay and fight for my country,” Perry said during a discussion with Clarence M. Mitchell IV, known as “C4,” the host of a program carried by WBAL radio in Baltimore.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I made the same comment about the illegal immigrants.

We keep hearing that the illegals are fleeing oppressive government in their own lands. Why they would think life will be any better here is a mystery as the US now ranks 36th on the global freedom scale, pretty much at the bottom of all industrialized nations.

But let us look at history for how to deal with a repressive regime.

When the British discovered that King Charles 1 had hired Scottish troops to oppress the British people, the British didn't swim across the English Channel to France and say "Let us in! Let us in!" They arrested the King and cut off his head! Things got a lot better in their own nation after that!

When the French living under King Louise XVI realized their were being systematically looted by the French monarchy, they didn't swim across the English Channel to Britain and say "Let us in! Let us in!" They arrested the King and sent him and his money-junky friends to the guillotine! Things got a lot better in their own nation after that!

When the Italian people realized that Benito Mussolini had gotten them into a war on the side that was going to lose, the Italians didn't flock to the border of Austria and say "Let us in! Let us in!" They arrested Mussolini and shot him! Things got a lot better in their own nation after that!

When the Romanians lived under a repressive regime, they didn't flock to the border with Serbia and scream "Let us in! Let us in!" They took responsibility for the future of their nation, and machine-gunned Ceausescu live on Romanian National TV. Things got a lot better in their own nation after that!

We the people of the United States are not responsible to make the lives of Bolivians, Nicaraguans, Peruvians, Brazilians, etc. better. We have plenty of our own problems. Our current government doesn't even want to take care of America's homeless and hungry who are LEGAL citizens!

So, instead of flocking to our borders and screaming "Let us in! Let us in", maybe you need to man-up, show some courage, and fix your own problems.

That being said, Scott Perry seems to be unaware that many of the refugees pouring into Europe have admitted they were lured to Europe with promises of lots of free stuff being made by the various Soros-sponsored NGOs fueling this migration. Promises which have not been kept, which is adding to the hostility and friction.

The Return of Korematsu

Last week’s terrorist attack in Paris provoked a backlash among American politicians against the Obama administration’s plans to resettle Syrian refugees. They rushed to protect their constituents from potential ISIS members who could be lurking among the 10,000 refugees that the Obama administration hopes to admit into the country over the next year.

It’s natural enough to wonder, in response to the murky reports of a Syrian passport found at one of the bombing sites, about the United States’ own procedures for screening Syrian refugees. It turns out that refugees chosen for resettlement are exhaustively vetted by law-enforcement and intelligence agencies, with an average processing time of 12 to 24 months, before setting foot on U.S. soil.

Webmaster's Commentary:

While I condemn the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, as a great moral blot on this country's history, and believe in thorough vetting of ALL refugees who come here, there is a question that must be asked: why is Obama so completely keen on bringing in so many Syrians, when there are not even enough jobs for people who were born here?!/

What will the financial ramifications to this country's budget, where the US treasury is nearly broke?!?

The only thing I can think of (and be aware: most of these refugees are being located in Republican states) is that when they are ultimately eligible to vote (and in states with no voter ID laws, that could be ...tomorrow), this country will have another block of solidly Democratic voters, grateful for their opportunity to be here.

Yes, this is a very cynical evaluation of what is going on with Obama's obsession to relocate Syrian refugees here; but it is nonetheless absolutely correct.

The vote was 289-137, with 47 Democrats joining 242 Republicans in favor of the bill, creating a majority that could override President Barack Obama's promised veto. It also faces an uncertain future in the Senate, where Minority Leader Harry Reid said he will try to block the bill.

Obama Cares Little About American Safety

President Obama threatened late Wednesday to veto legislation aimed at improving screening for Syrian refugees, potentially putting the White House and Congress on a collision course in a matter of days.

House Republicans touted the legislation as a common-sense answer to security concerns.

“Slamming the door in the face of refugees would betray our deepest values. That’s not who we are. And it’s not what we’re going to do,” Obama tweeted late Wednesday morning.

Post-Paris American Police State Once Again In Vogue: “We Can Crush ISIS’s Enclave of Terror”

It seems that the only response to terrorism is more surveillance, security, police presence and, of course, war.

To that end, Hillary Clinton is most definitely "in":

But Clinton called for further US special forces to be deployed to Syria too, reiterated her call for a no-fly zone and demanded an “intelligence surge” to allow the airstrikes against Isis to be stepped up.

“The United States has been conducting this fight for more than a year; it’s time to be begin a new phase and intensify and broaden our efforts,” Clinton told the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

Jewish Groups Demand U.S. Take in More “Refugees”

Two weeks ago, The Times of Israel reported that an international network of Jewish charities and relief organizations were preparing a public relations and lobbying campaign designed to increase political and financial support for their operations in resettling Third World “refugees” into the United States and Europe. These Jewish charities are planning to cash in on the on-going “refugee crisis” by receiving government grants and assistance, as well as donations from the public, for their ostensible “humanitarian” efforts aimed at helping “refugees” flee their home countries and resettle in the West.

“Degrade and Destroy ISIS”? Now Obama Says the Plan Was Always Just Containment

Remember? That’s why he just had to ask Congress for hundreds of millions of dollars? To comprehensively degrade and destroy ISIS? Well, apparently now the plan “has always been” containment — always from the start, or at least, that’s what Obama just got done telling ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos in an interview last week.

Now that the MSM is flirting with the idea of "cyber hijacking" in the increasingly desperate search for MH370, many are left wondering how long the possibility of a remote control hijack has been possible and why the public hasn't been warned of this threat. Join us for this week's Eyeopener report as we examine the cyber hijacking issue and its connections to 9/11.

The double-edged sword of cyber warfare

Kind of in your face aren't they!

One week after the Israeli army formally recognized cyber weapons as a fourth dimension of warfare, alongside land, air and sea, the defense minister on Wednesday sang the praises of digital weapons, saying that they can attack and conquer enemy assets without leaving a trace.

“Cyberspace enables the attack of another nation state in offensive action, even reaching victory without leaving any fingerprints, even if it is suspected,” Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Wednesday at the fifth annual Cyber Security Conference at Tel Aviv University, according to a conference statement. “We are already there; we are not talking about some distant future. We have experienced this in Israel’s day-to-day actions against its enemies.”

The reference to offensive action was somewhat rare and it came just two weeks after Israel was fingered as a suspect in a cyberattack against participants in the nuclear negotiations with Iran.

How a hacker could hijack a plane from their seat

The Russian plane reported problems with the planes in-flight entertainment system and wireless(wifi?).After that no more communications.

Reports that a cybersecurity expert successfully hacked into an airplane’s control system from a passenger seat raises many worrying questions for the airline industry. It was once believed that the cockpit network that allows the pilot to control the plane was fully insulated and separate from the passenger network running the in-flight entertainment system. This should make it impossible for a hacker in a passenger seat to interfere with the course of the flight. But the unfolding story of this hacker’s achievement, which has prompted further investigation by authorities and rebuttals from plane manufacturers, means that this assumption needs to be revisited.

The scariest cyber threat of all? How hackers are hijacking planes

Cyber attacks on the aviation industry are becoming a sensitive issue. Considering that cyberspace provides a low-cost haven for carrying out a broad range of disruptive activities, it is reasonable to conclude that hackers will consider the aviation sector as one of their targets.

Also, because of lower risk, cyber terrorism is replacing the bomber and hijacker and becoming the weapon of choice when it comes to attacks against the aviation industry.

Hacker Uses An Android To Remotely Attack and Hijack A Plane

By taking advantage of two new technologies for the discovery, information gathering and exploitation phases of the attack, and by creating an exploit framework (SIMON) and an Android app (PlaneSploit) that delivers attack messages to the airplanes' Flight Management Systems (computer unit + control display unit), he demonstrated the terrifying ability to take complete control of aircrafts by making virtual planes "dance to his tune."

Planes Grounded After Hackers Hijack An Airline's Flight Plan System

Practice makes perfect!

A cyberattack on Polish airline LOT left ten flights canceled this Sunday, stranding around 1,400 people at Warsaw’s Chopin airport. The attack hit the airline’s ground computer system, which is used to make flight plans.

The hackers didn’t break into the IT on the planes, but this incident makes it even more obvious that the air travel industry needs to be vigilant about cybersecurity. Earlier this year, security researcher Chris Roberts reportedly commandeered an airplane to demonstrate how crappy United’s security setup is.

“We’re using state-of-the-art computer systems, so this could potentially be a threat to others in the industry,” spokesman Adrian Kubicki told Reuters.
