Israeli Reservists “Operate” In US Colleges

Tel Aviv knows it can count on the ongoing financial, political and military support from the United States, but wants to get US campuses to topple any move that aims at divesting from Israeli and international companies that invest and benefit from the illegitimate Israeli occupation and its settlements.

Many reserve soldiers, especially those who graduated from American Universities, have been asked to “go back to school” in order to operate on preventing any move that calls for boycott, divestment and sanctions, and to try to encourage students’ support to Israel.

In Colorado, a Student Counterprotest to an Anti-Protest Curriculum

A new conservative school board majority here in the Denver suburbs recently proposed a curriculum-review committee to promote patriotism, respect for authority and free enterprise and to guard against educational materials that “encourage or condone civil disorder.” In response, hundreds of students, teachers and parents gave the board their own lesson in civil disobedience.

On Tuesday, hundreds of students from high schools across the Jefferson County school district, the second largest in Colorado, streamed out of school and along busy thoroughfares, waving signs and championing the value of learning about the fractious and tumultuous chapters of American history.

“It’s gotten bad,” said Griffin Guttormsson, a junior at Arvada High School who wants to become a teacher and spent the school day soliciting honks from passing cars. “The school board is insane. You can’t erase our history. It’s not patriotic. It’s stupid.”

In other words, you are kept slaves not by force, but by making sure you are unaware of alternatives to the imposed reality.

There is nothing new in erasing from the curriculum knowledge the government and the money-junkies do not want you to have. The prime cause of the American Revolution, according to Ben Franklin and many of the other Founding Fathers, was King George III's Currency act, which forced the American colonists to conduct all commerce using bank notes borrowed at interest from the Rothschild-owned Bank of England. This practice plunged the working classes of America into the same crushing poverty as working people in Britain of the same time. In 1913, when a corrupt Congress and a corrupt President sold us back into the slavery of the very same system of banking, the public schools stopped teaching about the Currency act and presented the American Revolution as being about the Stamp Act, tea in Boston Harbor, and so forth, so that generations of Americans, believing they were educated, were ignorant of the fact that this nation was started and did quite well using an entirely different system of national economics.

Today the government doesn't want children growing up aware that there even was a revolution, given that we now suffer many of the same evils that prompted the first one. I am proud of these students and teachers for taking a stand against manufactured history!
