Are Dalai Lama visits with US, UK, France a “provocation” for China’s staged role in WW3?

*hyperlinks and videos live at source*

The Dalai Lama confessed to receive CIA funds in their revolutionary attempts to split from China. As US and Israel lying rhetoric for war with Iran escalate and echoed by US corporate media, as Iran is considered a main source of oil for China, as WW3 is a real threat given that WW2 sprung from a series of smaller occupations cumulating with a false flag attack on Poland and WW1 sprung from a single political assassination in a context of competing empires, the “chess masters” behind the scenes of politics might have more in mind than a simple visit between President Obama and an exiled religious feudal-system divine monarch (and here).

Bases of Empire: Casting a Global Shadow

Despite United States economic weakness, although not unrelated to it, our military casts a heavy shadow everywhere on earth, far beyond the major and minor wars it is now conducting. The geographical and functional scope of the US military is cosmic. Formal alliances are an important element, but even such bloated, increasingly un-Atlantic and shockingly un-pacific institutions as NATO are only the tip of the iceberg. Nations generally regarded as “neutral” are now junior partners in NATO: Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Malta, and Sweden. “In June 2009, war games ‘Loyal Arrow’ were conducted by 10 countries in Northern Sweden, as a preliminary move to extend US and NATO military presence into Arctic regions—and confronting Russia in that area.

U.S. warns of al Qaeda threat in Central Asia

Al Qaeda aims to infiltrate Central Asia to train militants and turn the ex-Soviet region into a zone of unrest, a U.S. envoy said on Saturday.

U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke is on a blitz tour of the five "stans" of Central Asia.

Stability in the vast resource-rich region sprawling between China, Russia and Afghanistan is crucial to the West as it lies on a new supply route for NATO-led operations in Afghanistan.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to Envoy Holbrooke:

In Arabic, the term "al Qaeda" means "the base".

In colloquial Arabic, the term means "the toilet".

Envoy Holbrooke, what self-respecting Arabic-speaking group would call themselves "the toilet"?!?

Poverty, political corruption, lack of civil redress (and that sure the heck is the case with Uzbekistan), and an absence of hope radicalizes people, and makes insurgent movements look attractive.

The "stability" you are hoping for does not come in the form of governments further repressing their people (Remember, Envoy Holbrooke: we tried that with the Shah of Iran, Pinochet., etc., and those efforts ultimately blew up the US's face like a bad trick cigar).

It comes with education, jobs, and governments responding intelligently and responsibly to the needs of their people.

If you are looking for stability in this region, those are the steps you should be asking the governments you're visiting to be taking, not further repression.

Terrorism: The Most Meaningless and Manipulated Word By Glenn Greenwald

Joseph Stack deliberately flew an airplane into a building housing IRS offices in Austin, Texas, in order to advance the political grievances he outlined in a perfectly cogent suicide-manifesto. Stack's worldview contained elements of the tea party's anti-government anger along with substantial populist complaints generally associated with "the Left" (rage over bailouts, the suffering of America's poor, and the pilfering of the middle class by a corrupt economic elite and their government-servants). All of that was accompanied by an argument as to why violence was justified (indeed necessary) to protest those injustices

Portuguese naval ships, with helicopters and medical supplies, are sent to the flood-stricken island.

On Saturday torrential streams of water and liquid mud swept through the capital, Funchal, destroying homes, overturning cars and felling trees.

At least 38 people have died and more than 100 people injured in hospital in the worst storms in almost two decades, with the death toll likely to rise even further, officials said on Sunday. Hundreds of people have been left homeless.

Nobel economist Paul Krugman wrote the US economy is “doomed,” Obama “clueless,” and summarizes his analysis of President Obama’s economic leadership with simply:

Oh. My. God.

Mr. Krugman joins a growing list of characteristically dry economic experts expanding the margins of their self-expression to communicate to Americans that kleptocratic parasites have destroyed the US economy.

The good news is that the solutions are obvious, available right now, and elegantly simple to understand and implement.

The good news is corporate media war propaganda is so easy to reveal and crush. Today’s version of CIA Operation Mockingbird, the US Senate Church Committee disclosure of over 400 CIA operatives within US corporate media to propagandize for war policies, is escalating their paper-thin lies of omission and commission to manipulate America into war with Iran.

The great news is millions of Americans recognize corporate media lies; especially after the confirmed lies they viciously and endlessly repeated for wars with Afghanistan and Iraq. Millions also authoritatively understand these wars are clearly unlawful (and here).

Kathleen Waller usually stops at the V and A Fuels on the way to pick up her kids from school, but she was stunned to find unleaded going for $8.87 a gallon at the Washington Boulevard station Tuesday.

Super was going for $9.09 a gallon.

No joke, according to an attendant manning the station Tuesday afternoon. She had no explanation for why the price had been raised, only that the price hike came Tuesday morning.

William Astore, The U.S. Military's German Fetish

Looking back on my youthful infatuation with the German Wehrmacht, I recognize a boy’s misguided enthusiasm for military hardness and toughness. I recognize as well the seductiveness of reducing the chaos of war to “shock and awe” Blitzkrieg and warrior empowerment. What amazes me, however, is how this astonishingly selective and adolescent view of war -- with its fetish for lightning results, achieved by elevating and empowering a new generation of warlords, warriors, and advanced weaponry -- came to dominate mainstream American military thinking after the frustrations of Vietnam.

Unlike a devastated and demoralized Germany after its defeats, we decided not to devalue war as an instrument of policy after our defeat, but rather to embrace it. Clasping Clausewitz to our collective breasts, we marched forward seeking new decisive victories. Yet, like our role models the Germans of World War II, we found victory to be both elusive and illusive.

Where’s All That Gold? Gary North on the real reason the Fed is afraid of an audit.

The bulk of the world's gold holdings are stored in the vault of the New York FED. This includes most of the deliverable gold (99.9% fine) owned by the FED as trustee of the U.S. government's gold. The gold at Ft. Knox (probably coin melt, 90% fine) constitutes a second holding area, said to be 20% of the nation's gold. No one knows. It has not been audited since the early 1950's, not even by the private accounting firms that audit the FED on an annual rotation basis.

I’ve been paying particular attention to the governor’s race in Texas of late, particularly the Republican primary for that position. There’s a woman running, a true champion of freedom. She understands the concept of liberty. She embraces it. She offers real solutions to real problems, problems the vast majority of the common folk can see in the corrupt establishment. She offers the free market solutions we all want, a pulling back of government intrusion in the lives of ordinary citizens and a chance to once again live as freemen in the legacy our founding fathers left for us.

Many people hypothesize the confirmed lies for wars with Iraq and Afghanistan, and a final war with Iran, is to control oil. Plane crashes into Northwest Austin building

A small single-engine plane crashed into a building in Northwest Austin Thursday morning, sparking a fire.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Yes-sirree bob; that building's gonna come right down into its own footprint just like the World Trade Towers. Got a plane strike, fire, yep, any second that's gonna come right down. Any second. Gonna fall. Any second. Any second now. I forget, did a plane hit the WTC-7 building? No? Odd. Anyway, this here building will come right down into its own footprint any moment now. Really. Any moment."

UPDATE: The TV news is (surprisingly) confirming reports we got in the email earlier today that the plane crash was an intentional suicide attack on the offices of the IRS located in that building.

I say surprising because normally when IRS offices are burned or vandalized it is not reported lest it give the people "bad ideas."

But the latest report I have is that the IRS was seizing this guy's home, so he burned it down rather than let the government have it, then flew his plane into the IRS offices.

from Risk Magazine

In November 2001, the Greek finance ministry’s public debt division made a public statement about its debt management strategy. It acknowledged that its debt was a ‘critical macroeconomic parameter’, and pledged to reduce debt servicing costs by means that included ‘the extensive use of derivatives’. Apparently, this was not enough for Brussels. In February 2002, the European Commission pointed out future deficit forecasts by Greece relied ‘primarily’ on achieving reductions in interest costs. It called for Greece to reduce its ‘very high’ debt ratio, and to provide ‘more detailed information on financial operations’.

Although Greece’s public debt division points out that it uses 18 derivatives counterparties, there is no doubt that the division, which is headed by Christopher Sardelis, has a particularly close relationship with Goldman Sachs. Indeed, the account has been handled personally at Goldman Sachs by Antigone Loudiadis, the London-based European head of sales for the firm’s fixed-income, currencies and commodities unit. Highly respected by other dealers, Loudiadis has enjoyed a successful career at Goldman, joining the firm’s partnership committee and attaining her present position in 2000. According to sources, by early 2002, Loudiadis and her team put together a deal aimed at alleviating Greece’s problem of debt ratios and high interest costs.

Perspectives on Zionism

Paul J. Balles views some of the latest works exposing the activities of Zionists in the Middle East where Israeli barbarism manifests itself in indiscriminate "killing for the sake of killing", to the United States where the pro-Israel lobby "has long held the US Congress in thrall, strangling what little is left of American democracy".

The Non-Proliferation Treaty, initiated by the United States, is clear:

Article IV: 1. Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with Articles I and II of this Treaty.

In a previous article, I sounded the alarm regarding some of Obama's most dangerous Executive Orders signed this year. In this case, I am referring to the formal creation of a Governors Council and their role in the very possible further demise of States' Rights. Although according to Obama it has been fluffed-up and sugar-coated as nothing more that an Advisory council of 10 Governors to meet on various issues. Let us look at the geographic locations of these Governors and its relevance to the bigger picture.

The Tea Parties are a plastic bag which prevents grass roots from touching real soil and growing a natural resistance to the measures of conquest. The Tea Parties exist to saddle you with Money Power secret agents for leaders. When you go to a Tea Party you are shown some candidates for Senator in your state. One only is a real populist. The other three or four are Money Power secret agents who are out to drain money and support from the real populist.

...Patty Murray -- the Money Power's real choice -- can win again.

... the "god-fearing patriots" of Washington State are going to bankroll her victory in a teacup.

Bishop Suspect In Newton Mail Bomb Attempt

The female professor accused of gunning down three colleagues at the University of Alabama on Friday, was once a suspect in the attempted mail bombing of a Harvard professor, the Boston Globe reports.

Back in 1993 Dr. Paul Rosenberg opened a package containing two pipe bombs in his Newton home. Because Rosenberg cut open the box rather than lifting its flaps, the bombs did not detonate. Nobody was ever arrested.

Sources tell the Boston Globe that Amy Bishop, a Harvard medical student at the time, was questioned in the bombing attempt. According to the Globe sources, Rosenberg may have been concerned she was about to get a bad review for her doctorate work.

Harvard Hometown Plans Coercive Taxes, Veganism to Stop Climate 'Emergency'

Going green will not be optional in Cambridge, Mass., if the Cambridge Climate Congress has its way. It will be mandatory.

There will be congestion pricing to reduce car travel. Curbside parking will be eliminated. There will be a carbon tax "of some kind," not to mention taxes on plastic and paper bags. And the Massachusetts city, home of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will advocate vegetarianism and veganism, complete with "Meatless or Vegan Mondays."

Those are just some of the proposals put forth by the Congress, which was created in May 2009 to respond to the "climate emergency" plaguing Cambridge. Once the Congress settles on its recommendations, they will submitted to the City Council.

Sex, lies and videotape: an Israeli-inspired scandal to undermine Palestinians

Uri Avnery argues that a recent Palestinian sex and corruption scandal appears to have been plotted by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, executed by a Palestinian collaborator and the Israeli secret service, and marketed by Israeli TV to “prove” that Israel “has no partner for peace”.

"The happy father of the scoop was Tzvi Yehezkeli, the 'correspondent for Arab affairs' of Channel 10.

I have been following Yehezkeli’s broadcasts for years, and it is hard for me to recall a single word of his that does not show Muslims in general or Arabs in particular in a ridiculous light. His reports, and the material he chooses to show, are generally pitched somewhere between sky-high overbearing and bottomless contempt.

Mantiq al-Tayr Asks, Is Judge Goldstone a Traitor?

Alan Dershowitz says that South African Judge and Zionist Jew Richard Goldstone “is a traitor using his Jewishness to malign Israel… He is an evil man, one who allowed himself to be used against the Jewish people, an absolute traitor.” Apparently if you are a Jew, your loyalty is to Israel above anything else – even the truth. The South African Jewish community apparently shares Dershowitz’s assessment.

The battle of 9/11’s ailing first responders

Safety was the first casualty at the Ground Zero clean-up as Mayor Giuliani, who had 30 months (two and a half years) to complete the clean-up, pushed workers to work day and night to finish the project in a mere eight months. In sharp contrast, the first responders in Washington, D.C., had to wear respirators to work at the Pentagon disaster site, no excuses accepted.

Biofuels Algae to solve the Pentagon's jet fuel problem

The brains trust of the Pentagon says it is just months away from producing a jet fuel from algae for the same cost as its fossil-fuel equivalent.

The claim, which comes from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) that helped to develop the internet and satellite navigation systems, has taken industry insiders by surprise. A cheap, low-carbon fuel would not only help the US military, the nation's single largest consumer of energy, to wean itself off its oil addiction, but would also hold the promise of low-carbon driving and flying for all.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If true, and this work actually does create usable fuel, this will be a development which will stop some of the 21st century's "energy wars" in their tracks.

America's deadly robots rewrite the rules

Consider: for the first time ever, a civilian intelligence agency is manipulating robots from halfway around the world in a program of extrajudicial executions in a country with which Washington is not at war.

Consider, too: the drone wars were initiated under the presidency of George Bush. But it is the Democrat Barack Obama who has given them flight and stumped up sufficient funding to spark serious debate on the end of the ''Top Gun'' era of the fighter-pilot.

And there is this: despite decades of American disquiet about assassinations abroad and a shrill Republican critique of him as a security wuss, the professorial Obama is the new killer on the block, authorising more drone attacks in the first year of his term in office than Bush did in his entire presidency.

Dennis Kucinich declares emperor has no clothes: US government assassinations of citizens unlawful

*hyperlinks and video live at source*

Congressman Dennis Kucinich has used the opening of US admission of extrajudicial assassinations to request US Attorney General Eric Holder take two commendable and necessary steps:

1.Declare the acts as obviously unconstitutional (in text to explain their legal status).
2.Request disclosure of all information of Blackwater/Xe and any other company’s involvement in extrajudicial assassinations.

Mr. Kucinich summarizes the tyrannical and Orwellian assassination program:

The government becomes policeman, prosecutor, judge, jury, and executioner all in one. The suspension of basic constitutional protections for U.S. citizens puts in jeopardy our Constitution and rule of law.

TSA in Philly Must Stand for Truly Stupid A******s

Original post by Dave Lindorff, at
The Public Record

So there you have it. Cut your hair in Philadelphia and to the alert agents of the TSA and the equally alert Philadelphia Police you are a potentially radicalized terrorist. (Geez, and I already went through that garbage back in the ‘60s, when my long hair used to routinely get me harassed by police. So I guess it’s “long hair and beard = Commie” and “short hair and beard = Jihadi”). Carry language flash cards, or perhaps a book with an incindiary title, and you’re a potential terrorist. Get the wrong TSA agent, and you may even end up having some terribly incriminating substance planted in your bag. And try to prove misbehavior or worse by the TSA and they’ll casually destroy the evidence....

Air passengers who refuse a full body scan to be barred from their flights

Original post in the Daily Mail Reporter,/small>

The exemption of under 18s from being scanned, which was in place during the trial of the machines in Manchester, has also been removed.... The officer operating the machine never sees the image, and the employee viewing the scan must be in another room. The scan cannot be saved, printed or transmitted. Passengers can also demand that only officers of their sex see their image. While only a small minority of travellers are expected to be asked to undergo the scans, those who decline will not be allowed to board their flight.

2008 habeas ruling may pose snag as U.S. weighs indefinite Guantanamo detentions

The case against Saeed Mohammed Saleh Hatim seemed ironclad.

But a federal judge reviewed the case and found the government's evidence too weak to justify Hatim's confinement. The judge ordered the detainee's release, ruling that he could not rely on Hatim's statements because they had been coerced. He also found that the government's informer was "profoundly unreliable."

The rulings in the Hatim case and the 31 others may be a harbinger of trouble for the Obama administration, which is considering plans to indefinitely detain dozens of Guantanamo Bay prisoners without civilian or military trials. Although the detainees will never face a jury, they are entitled to their day in court under the Supreme Court ruling.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why is this administration pushing so hard for indefinite detention without civilian or military trials for some of these men?

Because waterboarding wasn't the worst thing that happened to many of them.

And the American public just might be shaken out of its collective stupor on the issue of "enhanced interrogation" as to just how far, in terms of physical and emotional torture, US interrogators went to get these people to confess to a pre-determined outcome.

And of course, this government certainly wouldn't want that to happen.

Both parties face voters’ hostility, poll finds

Both Democrats and Republicans up for reelection in the fall face a toxic environment, according to a New York Times/CBS poll.

Three-quarters of the public disapprove of Congress, matching the highest level since the poll began asking the question in 1977. Four out of five voters thought Congress was more interested in serving special interests than the interests of voters.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Voters realize that what they have in congress is the new "taxation without representation", where legislation is perpetually crafted to benefit the huge corporations which donate, overtly and covertly, to keep these people in office, with no benefit whatsoever to We the People.

It will be a very interesting political scenario in November.

Abraham Lincoln stated obvious war lies to Congress; where's today’s leadership?

*hyperlinks live at source*

Most people do not know that Abraham Lincoln is a hero for his acts as a freshman member of the House of Representatives in the Congress of 1847-1849. Lincoln demanded that the President of the US provide specific evidence justifying the US invading a foreign country, stating the obvious on the floor of Congress that the President’s claims of a defensive war were lies to propagandize an offensive war for territorial control against a weaker nation.

He did so despite the lack of support from most of his own political party. He demanded the facts despite his being painted by political opponents and the press as “unpatriotic.” The propaganda defeated Lincoln at his next election; his name slurred as “spotty Lincoln.”

Passenger train derails in Washington, D.C.

A passenger train derailed near a train station in Washington, D.C. on Friday, officials said.
The six-car Red Line train derailed around 10.30 a.m. local time near Farragut North station, according to a Metro spokeswoman. She said the front wheels of the lead car came off the track.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Obama’s Murder Inc.

We have a "gangsta" presidency and a Congress that isn’t any better. Only Congressman Dennis Kucinich was willing to go on the record in opposition to these crimes. "Even the most superficial reading of Article XIV makes it clear that extrajudicial killings of U.S. citizens by the U.S. government or its agents are by definition outside the law." Kucinich’s colleagues, most of whom are lawyers, apparently are unable to perform even a superficial reading of the document they are sworn to uphold.

Extra judicial killings are to be expected in banana republics and communist dictatorships and Islamic theocracies or, well, by Israel. They aren’t supposed to be committed in violation of the Bill of Rights.

Unlawful war on Iran is treason; it levies war against the US, our military, and our Constitution

Causing unlawful war upon the US is an attack upon our nation, consistent with US Constitution Article III Section 3:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

Causing war against the US is so egregious, it’s the only crime the Founders defined in the Constitution. An unlawful war is the supreme act of betrayal against our military, and a violent overthrow of the US government as we know it by our Constitution. It replaces American limited government under law with unchecked fascism.

The kernel of Chodorov's insight, it seems to me, is this: Conservatives tend to bemoan what is being done to various federal agencies when they should focus instead on whether they should exist in the first place. It's for this reason that conservatives are scandalized over what the Gay Lobby wants to do to the military, when the real outrage is what is being done with it -- or whether that immense, costly, and destructive federal bureaucracy should exist, at least in its current form.

incandescent bulbs will no longer be sold

This is another example of "Environment" being used to force us to buy products that we might not want. The CFCs do not last anywhere near as long as the package claims. The ones I bought from Home Depot started failing after just 1 month. Contrary to the package claims, they do NOT put out the same amount of light as the regular bulb of thus and such wattage; I checked with light meter.

Finally, CFCs are TOXIC! If they break, you get mercury vapor in your homes. And unless you dispose of them at special collection sites, the mercury goes into the water table at whatever landfill the bulbs and sent to, along with the toxic materials on the circuit board and the tiny radioisotope that initiates the lamp when switched on.

Connecticut power station explosion: dozens could still be missing

A local fire official said on Monday it was unclear whether everyone was accounted for after the explosion on Sunday that killed at least five people at the Kleen Energy Systems plant in Middletown.

On Sunday night the Middletown Deputy Fire Marshal, Al Santostefano, had said officials believed no one else was missing amid the rubble.

But on Monday morning he said rescue crews had still not been able to search a section of the plant that remains unstable, and it was impossible to know if there were victims in that area.

Gaming Junkie Kills Mother For Not Paying Internet Bills

Lonut Silviu Savin, a Romanian Counter-Strike gamer, was devastated when his mother attempted to stop his addiction to the game by simply not paying the internet bill. The adoptive mother paid alright; with her life. After Lonut was unsuccessful logging onto the internet to play Counter-Strike, he stabbed his adoptive mother 17 times, which ultimately, lead to her death.
Even more concerning is that the 17 year old continued on with his day, traveling to a local internet cafe to play Counter-Strike, leaving his adoptive mother to die in their home. Lonut was said to have played for 4 hours, and then turning himself to local authorities.

No joke: South Carolina now requires ’subversives’ to register

The South Carolina blog FitsNews describes the new law as "bureaucracy for terrorists."

"In the long and storied history of utterly retarded legislation in South Carolina, we may have finally found the legal statute that takes the cake for sheer stupidity, which we think you’ll agree is saying something," the unsigned blog posting scathingly commented.

The Defense Industry Is Pleased with Obama

Who says the president is failing to show leadership? In one area at least, there's no sign of flag or falter. If anything, the administration's only becoming more forthright. Sad to say, that area is military build-up.

The quote of the day comes from the CEO of a military contractor-funded policy group called the Lexington Institute. Loren Thompson tells Tuesday's New York Times, "The defense industry is pleased but bemused... It's been telling itself for years that when the Democrats got control it would be bad news for weapons programs. But the spending keeps going on."

US military vows to stay course in Haiti

Tea Party opening speaker suggests law that kept blacks be kept from voting be reinstated

The opening night speaker at the Tea Party convention suggested a return to a "literacy test" to protect America from presidents like Obama -- a segregation-era method employed by southern US states to keep blacks from voting.

n his speech Thursday to attendees, former Republican congressman Tom Tancredo invoked the loaded pre-civil rights era buzzword, saying that President Barack Obama was elected because "we do not have a civics, literacy test before people can vote in this country."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unflipping believable.

IN making that statement, Tancredo did a magnificent job of delegitimizing the entire movement by raising the old American spectre of racism.

Wadi Fuqeen Palestinians battle Israeli wall - al-Jazeera video report

Palestinians and Israeli dissenters are getting together to fight Israel's plan to build another section of the separation wall in the occupied West Bank.

According to environmentalists, the wall will stop the flow of water to the natural springs and thus threatens to dry out much of the Palestinian land.

They also see the wall - illegal under international law - as a part of long-term Israeli policy to grab more and more Palestinian land in the West Bank.

But the Israeli government says the separation wall is for security reasons, in order to stop Palestinians carrying out attacks in Israel.

Classroom confrontation on Portland State campus leaves professor in limbo, students concerned

It also has prompted the student, openly accused by the professor of being an FBI informant and a killer, to hire a prominent local civil rights attorney, and led the university to launch an investigation into the educator. The school has taken the unusual step of stripping the tenured professor of his teaching responsibilities while it conducts its inquiry.

Some questions remain unanswered: Why would a tenured professor choose to openly confront a student he viewed as dangerous; and what does the situation mean for the student, who has not been charged with a crime, yet is said to have offered to teach others how to make Molotov cocktails and buy assault rifles.

Webmaster's Commentary:

McCain's Fascist, Globalist Attacks Supplements

Senator McCain Files New Bill That Attacks Your Access to Supplements
and Repeals Key Sections of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act

Senator McCain's bill is called The Dietary Supplement Safety Act (DSSA). It would repeal key sections of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA). DSHEA protects supplements if 1) they are food products that have been in the food supply and not chemically altered or 2) if they were sold as supplements prior to 1994, the year that DSHEA was passed. If a supplement fits one of these two descriptions, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cannot arbitrarily ban it or reclassify it as a drug.

In this, the editors concluded, "Wealthy neighbours like the U.S. and Canada have a special responsibility" and "Canada can play a leading role."[iii]

Then Again, Yellowstone Swarms Possibly Not Harbingers of Doom

Original post at, by Erik Klemetti.

If we take a look at historical seismicty around Yellowstone (see below), we can see that quite a bit it is near the ring fracture of the caldera. This means that thesuggested structural source of the current seismicity makes sense - as I've mentioned, the earthquakes in these locations in historic times have not lead to eruptions.

Magma rising would need corroborating evidence... [such as (list factors)]. ...While the current earthquake swarm does appear to be getting shallower, you can see how it is part of life at an active caldera system.

The factors mentioned are monitored by the USGS YVO website.
