Why are so many members of the U.S. Armed Forces committing suicide. Neither the officers,noncoms or enlisted seem to have a clue!

An Army general has retracted comments he made earlier this week on his official blog after he had attended the memorial service of a soldier who committed suicide in front of his twin 6-year-old daughters.

At the week’s start, Pittard wrote on his “Thoughts while working out in the gym” blog on the post’s official site: “I have now come to the conclusion that suicide is an absolutely selfish act. I am personally fed up with soldiers who are choosing to take their own lives so that others can clean up their mess. Be an adult, act like an adult and deal with your real-life problems like the rest of us.”

The entry has since been scrubbed.

The public perception of terrorism is not what it was five or ten years ago. If you said that the FBI makes up terror plots two years ago you would've been ridiculed as a crazy conspiracy theorist, but today this statement is accepted as a basic fact of life. It is more controversial to say that terrorists are not working for the FBI, CIA, MI6, and Mossad.

On February 6, 2009 the newly installed president held a much-publicized meeting with 9/11 widow and “Jersey Girl” Beverly Eckert, along with dozens of USS Cole and 9/11 family members. All had lost a spouse or parent to “terrorism,” and they asked many incisive questions, although Obama provided few decisive answers. In the next six days, American glasnost became a short-lived reality. Senator Patrick Leahy demanded a “Truth Commission.” As if to accentuate the fact that kerosene won’t melt or demolish steel, the Mandarin Orange Hotel in downtown Beijing burned from top to bottom for 24 hours without falling, let alone collapsing neatly into its own footprint as did the Twin Towers and WTC-7. The gatekeeper Huffington Post, which had previously banned 9/11 “conspiracy theories,” published a two-part op-ed demanding a genuine investigation of the attacks.

At 11:00, p.m. on Feb 12 a highly suspicious aviation disaster over New York State killed the same Beverly Eckert who had a week earlier threatened the American elite with the one thing they can never allow: the truth. An hour later Obama’s Congress posted the Stimulus Bill online. The next day, Friday the 13th, an alarmed House of Representatives voted in favor of legislation that it didn’t have the time to read. It was an alarming echo of the Patriot Act vote.

It might seem like a tangent to the tragedy of the Sept 11th attacks: the fate of the thousands of tons of steel that formed the twin towers. As with so many other unwanted materials from the US, more than 30,000 tons of steel scrap — possibly contaminated with asbestos, PCBs, cadmium, mercury and dioxins — has been exported to India and other parts of Asia. Though the risks from the scrap are probably not on the order of the health threats at Ground Zero, the U.S. nevertheless has the obligation to ensure that toxic contamination from the World Trade Center is not exported to other nations.

So we have reached the point where the proverbial cat is out of the bag. Everyone, with the possible exception of the U.S. Congress, has become aware that there is something terribly wrong with Israel.

As the Chalk Leader for my flight home from Afghanistan, I witnessed the following:
When we were on our way back from Afghanistan, we flew out of Baghram Air Field. We went through customs at BAF, full body scanners (no groping), had all of our bags searched, the whole nine yards.
Our first stop was Shannon, Ireland to refuel. After that, we had to stop at Indianapolis, Indiana to drop off about 100 folks from the Indiana National Guard. That’s where the stupid started.

While everyone is focusing on WikiLeaks and Julian Assange, another important information dump is getting largely ignored since September 1, 2010 when James Gourley of the International Center For 9/11 Studies obtained nearly 5 terrabytes of videos and reports concerning the attacks on the WTC and Pentagon buildings.

Although some of the tapes have had some audio/video manipulation, it is clear why NIST did not want to release any of this material for the past 9 years. The 9/11 coverup demands that no evidence of explosions or bombs be included in the official story, and some of these videos have even been kept hidden simply for including the WORDS “bomb” or “explosion” in their contents.

The Israeli Lobby owns the Congress, media, Hollywood, Wall Street, both political parties, and the White House. This kind of talk will get people fired by this lobby, as we have seen recently with White House correspondent Helen Thomas and CNN anchor Rick Sanchez.

Several investigative journalists believe that the attacks were an inside job planned by the FBI and perpetrated by Israel or elements connected to Mossad. Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga has categorically expressed that the 9/11 attacks were a joint operation of FBI and Mossad. General Hamid Gul, the former head of Pakistan’s Intelligence Service believes that Israel was behind the attacks, too. What’s your estimation of these theories, their veracity and reliability? Is it demonstrable that the 9/11 attacks were a false flag operation or an inside job?

Why is the American public generally unaware of Israel’s theft of U S military secrets?

A few thoughts after the broadcast….

If you saw the broadcast of “Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup” on Colorado Public Television Channel 12, you may be feeling a variety of things–from curiosity to depression to anger or fear. This is normal. If our government was involved in sponsoring the events of 9/11 in any way, the implications of this are truly horrific for our country. This is a very difficult subject for all of us. Recognizing this, we’d like to offer a few thoughts.

It seems that Mr. Kay believes his versions of controversial issues such as 9/11, vaccines and fluoride in drinking water should not be contradicted in classroom teachings, in particular, regardless of where the truth lies on any of these issues. There is only one correct version of these issues, according to Mr. Kay, and that's his version – which also happens to be the version of corporations with a vested interest in all of these issues.

In a previous Canadian Charger article, we pointed out that in researching his forthcoming book, Mr. Kay avoids evidence related to 9/11 and solely focuses on attacking the mental soundness of those academics and professors who've written papers disputing the official version of 9/11, even going so far as to call them delusional, although Mr. Kay has no psychiatric credentials whatsoever to be making such claims about anyone, let alone respected university professors. We also wondered – in that article – why a major newspaper such as the National Post would print such drivel.

This special kind of stupidity is independent of inherent intelligence. In this case brain power is overpowered by psychological deficiency, namely self-delusion.

This delusion is not genetically produced, but is a result of external influences, notably political, government, media and corporate propaganda intentionally designed to produce delusional beliefs and thinking. Who does this? All sorts of commercial and political interests. The result is a series of biases and blocks, such as cognitive dissonance, to objective facts and information that creates denial about very important conditions affecting the planet, the nation and individuals. People afflicted with this deadly combination appear stupid to those outside their mental ghetto that they gladly inhabit, along with similarly afflicted people.

Jonathan Kay has made it an issue of national news in The National Post that my graduate student, Joshua Blakeney, is the proud winner of the Queen Elizabeth II scholarship for academic excellence. This award will help Joshua in supporting his research for his MA thesis on the academic controversies surrounding the background, substance, and outgrowths of the events of September 11, 2001.

The Editor of The National Post was in a conflict of interest when he wrote the story on my graduate student's scholarship without revealing that Mr. Kay too has an externally-funded agenda of research and publication on 9/11. Moreover, Mr. Kay misrepresented my graduate student's thesis subject by planting the disinformation that "Washington did 9/11." The point of Mr. Blakeney's thesis, as we have discussed it so far, is to evaluate the academic literature on the contested events of 9/11, not to jump immediately to the needed outcome of an empirically-verifiable alternative to the current unsupported and unsupportable government conspiracy theory. Such a needed outcome will require much more than the forthcoming MA thesis by my gifted and hard working graduate student.

Perhaps the most significant domestic product from Cheney’s trimester mirabilis was the Patriot Act of October 25, 2001. Congress was given only one week to pass this 340-page bill, which in the opinion of researchers “was already written and ready to go long before September 11th.”18 In 2007 the Justice Department acknowledged that FBI agents had abused the Patriot Act more than 1000 times.

We should not forget that the Patriot Act was only passed after lethal weapons-grade anthrax letters were mailed to two crucial Democratic Senators – Senators Daschle and Leahy – who had initially questioned the bill. After the anthrax letters, however, they withdrew their initial opposition.19 Someone – we still do not know who – must have planned those anthrax letters well in advance. We should not forget either that some government experts initially blamed the attacks on Iraq. Much later, referring to Fort Detrick, Salon reporter Glenn Greenwald pointed out that “the same Government lab where the anthrax attacks themselves came from was the same place where the false reports originated that blamed those attacks on Iraq.”20
