Good point about no planes which you bigotted away

Mike, love you to death! But you made a bigot of yourself when you cavalierly dismissed the no-planes argument which a caller made on October 24th. That was an excellent point about the wing tanks on the presumed planes that hit the WTC towers. Take a look at photos of the South Tower. Is the entry point of the plane cut away geometrically, or what? You are acting like a bigot when it comes to rejecting the evidence of photographic fakery. (bigot < bigota Spanish "moustache" < "Bi gott!" expression used by Austrian Inquisition guards in Spain who sported big moustaches) If the wings were knocked off and all the kerosene went into the tower, where did the wings go? The Steven Jones-Niels Harrit "demolition" theory of 9/11 has been an act of faith too long with you and Alex Jones.

why technological innovation is quashed

Consider what made the full span of the American Revolution (1775-1865) possible. It was American use of advanced British technological innovation (often stolen). These technological advances shifted the center of the Industrial Revolution from Britain to America. The British were holding technological innovation back because it threatened the rule of the British gentry. Consider how it promoted the leveling of economic opportunity in America.

Microscam Vista is garbage

Listening to Mike talk about Microsoft(c)Vista... Mike, erase the hard drive and install XP, or better (if the particular PC hasn't been "fixed" to disallow it) install an open-source operating system. I find myself servicing PCs with Vista, and what you describe is highly common. Personally, I buy from a local Chinese PC dealer and wouldn't trust anyone else; I buy cheap used computers from them installed with XP and stick them on my LAN to use the hard-drive capacity. As for HP printers: they're to sell, not to use. I'll never buy another HP printer in my life. I use to rehabilitate older ones and never had a problem with HP printers, but these days they're fit for the landfill shortly after you buy them.
