Peres threatens action against Iran

Israeli President Shimon Peres Sunday threatened to strike Iran if the Islamic republic fails to halt its nuclear program.

"We certainly cannot go it alone without the U.S., and we definitely can't go against the U.S. This would be unnecessary," Peres said.

Memo to Peres, Obama, the Knesset, and the US congress.

OK, let's say you decide to attack Iran for the unpardonable sin of having created a power plant.

Every single person in leadership positions in Tel Aviv and Washington knows that Iran is only enriching uranium to the level necessary to fuel a power plant, not to create a bomb. This is fact, not fiction, and has been consistently reported by members of the IAEA.

Iran is a signatory to the NPT: Israel is not.

And chew on this for a moment: have any of you knuckleheads thought for one second how Russia is going to respond to a military bashing of its 7th largest trading partner??!?!?

Just sit back and do absolutely nothing?!?
