THE REAL WAR AGAINST TERROR ~~ NEW VIDEO

The video was released by Adalah-NY: The New York Campaign for the Boycott of Israel and is accompanied by an appeal for more cultural workers to pledge their support for the boycott of Israel.

Fascist Israeli MK Calls for Palestinian Concentration Camps

Far-right, former IDF colonel, racist MK Moti Yogev wants family members of Palestinians accused of attacking Jews (true or false) placed in internment camps.

Will death camp recommendations follow? He claims punishing families will deter their children from allegedly harming Jews.

“There are (various) means of deterrence, such as banishing families of murderers to the Judean Desert – something that’s possible by law – and the creation of a type of Holot (internment camp) run by the military police,” he blustered.

Israeli soldiers kill 2 Palestinians in Qalandia refugee camp raid

Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem . . . The soldiers exchanged fire with armed resistance fighters during their invasion of the refugee camp, killing two Palestinians, identified as Laith Ashraf Manasra, 25, and Ahmad Abu al-‘Aish, 30 years of age. The Palestinian Health Ministry said the two slain Palestinians were transferred to the Palestine Medical Center. Army sharpshooters also occupied the rooftops of several homes in the refugee camp and shot and injured 34 Palestinians with live rounds; some of the wounded suffered moderate to severe wounds. The soldiers fired several gas bombs at Palestinian medics and ambulances, and obstructed many medics trying to provide the needed aid to wounded Palestinians, detaining the ambulances for extended periods before finally allowing them through.

Flashback 2014 - "Netanyahu warns of 'grave mistake' if France recognises Palestine"

Jerusalem (AFP) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Sunday that France's parliament would be making a "grave mistake" if it recognises a Palestinian state in a vote on December 2.

"Do they have nothing better to do at a time of beheadings across the Middle East, including that of a French citizen?" he told reporters in Jerusalem, referring to hiker Herve Gourdel who was executed by his jihadist captors in Algeria in September.

"Recognition of a Palestinian state by France would be a grave mistake," Netanyahu said.

"The State of Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people, the only state that we have, and the Palestinians demanding a state do not want to recognise the right to have a state for the Jewish people," Netanyahu told members of Israel's growing Jewish community from France.

His comments came just hours after his cabinet voted 14-6 in favour of a controversial proposal to anchor in law Israel's status as "the national homeland of the Jewish people".

Palestinian state recognition will be a ‘grave mistake’, Netanyahu warns France

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has warned it would be a “grave mistake” for the French parliament to follow the suit of several other European nations in recognizing a Palestinian state in a vote scheduled early December.

“Recognition of a Palestinian state by France would be a grave mistake," Netanyahu told reporters in Jerusalem. “Do they have nothing better to do at a time of beheadings across the Middle East, including that of a French citizen?” apparently referring to Herve Gourdelexecutedby Algerian jihadists in September.

France voted to recognize the state of Palestine, and have now suffered two false-flag terror attacks.

The best way for Americans to defeat the Islamic state is to end support for Jewish nationalism

At last night’s Democratic debate in Iowa, Bernie Sanders responded to the Paris horror saying that we have to rid the earth of ISIS, that there’s a war for the soul of Islam, and the Muslim nations have to get their hands dirty too.

These belligerent and self-righteous statements were concerning because once again American leaders, and American Jews, are pure innocence when it comes to the religious dimension of the Middle East conflict. The hypocrisy would be appalling were it not so functional: the biggest impediment to both the reform of Islam and peace in the Middle East that Americans have the ability to remove is our support for a militant Jewish ideology that few Arabs and Muslims have ever accepted.

French Colonial Dreams Linger On In Syria

RIVALRY AND OPPOSITION FROM THE START
When British troops under Marshal Allenby entered Damascus in 1918 accompanied by troops of the Arab Revolt led by Sharif Faisal of the Hussein of Mecca dynasty, French-British rivalry in the Middle East was already running at extreme highs. They were in no way resolved by the San Remo conference of April 1920 where the post-World War Allied Supreme Council met. It was attended by the four main non-US Allied Powers of World War I, represented by the prime ministers of Britain, France, Italy and by Japan's Ambassador K. Matsui.

This was the most important “turf war meeting” to divide up Class "A" League of Nations mandates for administering the former Ottoman-ruled lands of the Middle East. US participation was observer-only due to American deciders already setting apart the future Saudi Arabia as the USA's exclusive national zone of influence.

Why Does ISIS Only Fight Israel’s Enemies? And Why Do They Have So Much In Common?

In recent weeks, the mass extermination of Palestinian civilians by Israel has been bumped out of the headlines by an absurdly violent and savage Jihadist group called Islamic State Of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS). Evidence is emerging that the group is a proxy or at least founded by Mossad, American, and British intelligence, and the one thing that is known beyond reasonable doubt is that the brutal Salafists are an offshoot of the Western, Israeli, and Turkish backed Syrian rebels. Utilizing high tech American weapons (according to witnesses), they have managed to conquer numerous cities in Iraq and surrounding territories, waging a brutal war against “infidels” who for the most part, happen to be fellow Muslims or Christians. When seeing this tragic situation unfold, it is hard not to draw parallels with Israel- a nation ISIS has made clear they prefer to ignore in order to behead, rape and torture civilians.

Arthur Topham vs Theodore Nathan Kaufman: Gilad Atzmon

Topham’s satire, published in 2011, was obviously intended to make Israelis and Zionists reflect on their politics following a decade of extensive Jewish lobby advocacy of more and more immoral interventionist wars (Iraq, Syria, Libya, Iran etc). ‘Israeli Must Perish!’ is a mirror placed in front of the forgotten Kaufman’s ‘Germany Must Perish!’ Presumably, Topham saw some applicability of a critique of Germany in 1941 to Israel and global Zionism today.

Anti-Israel ads OK’d to run in Boston subways

The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority approved the display of an anti-Israel ad it had previously rejected.

The poster, which features a large photograph of a child and the word “violence” in large, bold letters, accuses Israel’s military of using US tax dollars to kill 2,000 Palestinian children since September 2000, and calls for the end of US military aid to Israel.

It is one of three ads that was initially approved by the MBTA in June 2014, but later removed. At the time, the governing body of the state’s public transportation system said the ads violated its policy against language that demeans or disparages individuals or groups.

Our World: France’s war against the Jews

Here is your motive!

France’s plan to use its position at the UN Security Council to bring about the deployment of international monitors to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem has been condemned by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his ministers as biased, unhelpful and detached from reality.

Certainly it is all those things. But France’s decision to use its diplomatic position to advance a plan which if implemented would end Israeli sovereignty over Judaism’s holiest site is first and foremost a French act of aggression against the Jewish state.

Israeli peace activists Uri Avnry despairs as the extremist settler faction takes over the Israeli government

Israel, the state of the settlers

Many factories have left Israel proper, sold their land there for exorbitant sums and received huge government subsidies for relocating to the West Bank. They employ, of course, cheap Palestinian workers from the neighbouring villages, free from legal minimum wages or any labour laws. The Palestinians toil for them because no other work is available.

But even these “comfort” settlers become extremists, in order to survive and defend their homes, while people in Tel Aviv enjoy their cafes and theatres. Many of these old-timers already hold a second passport, just in case. No wonder the settlers are taking over the state.

The process is already well advanced. The new police chief is a kippah-wearing former settler. So is the chief of the secret service. More and more of the army and police officers are settlers. In the government and in the Knesset, the settlers wield a huge influence.

Odom also said:

By any measure the US has long used terrorism. In ‘78-79 the Senate was trying to pass a law against international terrorism – in every version they produced, the lawyers said the US would be in violation.

Deir Yassin Remembered

Early in the morning of April 9, 1948, commandos of the Irgun (headed by Menachem Begin) and the Stern Gang attacked Deir Yassin, a village with about 750 Palestinian residents. The village lay outside of the area to be assigned by the United Nations to the Jewish State; it had a peaceful reputation. But it was located on high ground in the corridor between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Deir Yassin was slated for occupation under Plan Dalet and the mainstream Jewish defense force, the Haganah, authorized the irregular terrorist forces of the Irgun and the Stern Gang to perform the takeover.

ISRAEL & PALESTINE: THE MAPS TELL THE TRUE STORY

The truth is that far from being the poor victim it likes to portray itself as, Israel is in fact the most aggressive and belligerent nation in the region, having invaded pretty much everyone it shares a border with.

The following maps show just who is wiping who off of the map!

Webmaster's Commentary:

Last week MSNBC actually had the courage to show the loss of Palestinian lands since the creation of Israel as a cause for the tension in the region, whereupon Israel's presstitutes and whorespondents attacked MSNBC, declaring the maps fictional, with the long-discredited claim that there never was such a thing as Palestine! MSNBC caved in to the pressure and agreed!

UK denies Palestinian medical experts entry-visas to speak at conference

Britain has denied entry visas to a group of Palestinian medical professionals expected to speak at a conference on mental health at Kingston University, South West London.

Four mental health professionals employed by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, who were booked to speak at the event this weekend, were denied visas by British authorities, the Independent reports.

A psychologist from Bethlehem University, Dr Nahida Al-Arja, also had her visa application rejected.

It remains unclear why the applications of Ministry of Health employees were rejected, though the Independent indicates Dr Al-Arja’s visa was denied because she did not complete the application properly.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, so let me see if I have this correct. All of Europe, Great Britain included, has allowed thousands of refugees to walk in with the expectation that the refugees will live the rest of their lives there, but Britain refuses to allow these Palestinians into the country long enough to give a professional presentation?

Jewish American activists unfurl banner in support of BDS at the Western Wall

Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11:30 am, Jewish Americans CODEPINK activists, Ariel Gold, of Ithaca, NY and Ariel Vegosen, of Oakland, CA, unfurled a banner near the Kotel (Western Wall) reading, “American Jews support BDS.” Representing the women’s peace organization, Code Pink, the activists goal was to express Jewish opposition to the Israeli occupation of Palestine and endorse the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement as a nonviolent strategy to bring about a just peace in Palestine and Israel. - See more at: http://mondoweiss.net/2015/11/american-activists-western#sthash.CMjaWb...

Michele Bachmann Claims There's Violence In Israel Because Jesus Is 'Coming Soon'

Former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) has an urgent message for Christians everywhere: convert as many people as possible, especially Jews, because Jesus is "coming soon."

“We recognize the shortness of the hour," she said in an interview with right-wing radio host Tony Perkins last week. "That’s why we as a remnant want to be faithful in these days and do what it is that the Holy Spirit is speaking to each one of us, to be faithful in the Kingdom and to help bring in as many as we can -- even among the Jews -- share Jesus Christ with everyone that we possibly can because, again, he’s coming soon."

Envoy: Palestinian Uprising Continues Until Homeland Freed

Palestinian Ambassador to Tehran Salah al-Zawawi underlined that his countrymen are trying hard to achieve their rights through fighting the occupying regime of Israel. "The uprising of our people is righteous and it is underway for defending ourselves and freeing our homeland; Israel is an enemy that has occupied Palestine with the support of the US and its allies," Zawawi said, addressing a conference in Tehran on Tuesday. He pointed to Israel's atrocities against the Palestinians, and said, "Israel is continuing its crimes in the West Bank and many people have been arrested some aged less than 15 years old; they are being tortured." Zawawi pointed to the uselessness of the so-called peace talks, and reminded that "Palestine had dedicated around 2,000 martyrs and over 11,000 injured people last year." "The Zionists are trying to benefit from the (weak) stances of the Muslim countries by testing them through different plans," al-Zawawi added.

HOW CAN AMERICANS HELP MAKE A VIBRANT ECONOMY IN PALESTINE

While President Obama is meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White House today, there is no need to hold your breath for results, rather, there is a need to act. One way to make your actions heard is to support Palestinians’ economic steadfastness by helping us link Palestinian businesses to American businesses by making a U.S. tax-deductible donation and sending this request to your friends. We all have a role to play to end this occupation.

Here is a short (less than 4 min) video that was made last week when the AVPE Board met in Ramallah, despite the current volatile situation on the ground:

Palestine de-Osloized

Many compare the current situation in Palestine with apartheid South Africa. The tribal chiefs of the South African bantustans — the nominally independent Black-ruled “homelands” created by the racist government — used to believe that they were heads of sovereign states. The apartheid regime promoted the fiction of Black independence under its overall control in an attempt to legitimize and perpetuate white rule.

While the anti-apartheid movement and most of the world rejected the idea of separation based on racial identity in South Africa, the Palestinian leadership boasts of having laid the foundation for its own bantustan, claiming it to be the “State of Palestine.”

A HELPFUL SUGGESTION FOR MY FORMER COLLEAGUES IN HOLLYWOOD!

Following the United Nations vote recognizing the state of Palestine, Netanyahu's tantrum over the Iran P5+1 deal, followed by more pressure that Israel admit to their nuclear weapons, not to mention Netanyahu's attempt to blame the Palestinians for the Holocaust, I predict that Hollywood, ever eager to remind us all of how Israel and the Jews have suffered and deserve our unquestioning support as they shower white-hot flaming death onto the Palestinian children and steal more of their land, would immediately green-light a whole new batch of movies about Hitler, the Nazis, and so forth.

So I started to wonder, after decades of Hollywood obsession with events that happened before I was even born (and I am sixty three), they gotta be scraping the bottom of the barrel for movies about Nazis.

Dana Bash and David Gregory are warmup acts for Netanyahu at pro-Israel conference

Maybe these Jewish media figures tell themselves they’re not addressing a fervently pro-Israel organization. Maybe they absolve themselves of being one-sided on a fiercely-contested matter, unwavering American Jewish support for Israel. Then they’re just fooling themselves. They should reflect that there’s an Israeli flag on stage; and that only fervent Zionists are on the program, including outspoken advocates for everything Israel undertakes, Dennis Ross, Eric Fingerhut, Matthew Brooks (of the Republican Jewish Coalition), and Irwin Cotler, as well as Jewish Agency officials responsible for acquiring land for Jews only in Israel.

Obama friends Netanyahu with one-sided statement

President Obama started a Facebook page today, and we can guess who his first friend is. His statement this morning before his meeting at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was certainly one-sided. Not a word about Israeli settlements. Remember when he used to speak about occupation? Another time, another country. And notice that all the violence is Palestinian. “Palestinian violence against its and Israeli citizens.”

Though the U.S. wants to “make sure that legitimate Palestinian aspirations are met through a political process.” Legitimate Palestinian aspirations. That would seem to mean: rights. But he can’t say so.

Blair is also on the board of the UK branch of the Abraham Fund. That “coexistence” group is sponsored by Hapoalim, an Israeli bank that finances the construction of Jewish-only settlements in the occupied West Bank.

On 21 October, the UK Friends of the Abraham Fund announced as its new chairperson Alex Brummer, an editor and columnist at the rightwing British tabloid newspaper The Daily Mail, notable for its pro-Israel editorial stance and notorious for its racist and Islamophobic stereotypes.

Brummer is also a regular contributor to The Jewish Chronicle, a British newspaper with pronounced Zionist leanings.

There’s little love lost at a personal level between the two men, but Netanyahu knows he can always count on his friends in Washington, in the Jewish lobby, and in the Republican Party.

He is still smarting from the fact that the US along with Russia, France, the UK, China and Germany brokered a deal with Tehran on the future of Iran’s nuclear programme — a deal that he views as being the ultimate threat to the very existence of his country, with Iran having the means and access to technologies that could potentially give it a nuclear weapon.

ICC prosecutor ordered to investigate Israeli attack on Mavi Marmara

On Friday the appeals chamber of the International Criminal Court ruled that the office of the prosecutor must review its decision to close a preliminary examination into Israel’s deadly attack on a ship full of Turkish activists in 2010.

In May 2010, Israel violently raided the Mavi Marmara, a Turkish vessel that was part of flotilla sailing in international waters on its way to break the Israeli siege on Gaza.

During the raid, Israeli soldiers killed 10 civilian passengers and injured many more (nine died immediately and a tenth died of his wounds in May 2014).

In November 2014, Fatou Bensouda, the prosecutor of the ICC, closed her examination into the case, finding it was without “sufficient gravity” to justify further action.

Benjamin Netanyahu is meeting with Obama today. Here’s what he wants.

He's got his work cut out for him. First, he's trying to get the relationship with President Obama back on track after a disastrous 2015 and more broadly mend fences with the Democratic Party. He also needs to demonstrate to Israelis that their country's relationship with the US is back on track, and try to come to an understanding with the Americans about what they want out of Israel on the Palestinian issue.

It's a big agenda. Here's a guide to why Netanyahu has so much on his plate, how he's going to try to accomplish it, and what his chances are of succeeding.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Basically, Netanyahu gets more of your money for weapons to murder his neighbors with, and the Palestinian issue gets put off until someone else is in the White House, a victory for Netanyahu as none of the candidates for next year's elections are sympathetic to the Palestinians' plight!

Dragged by the head, punched in the face, kicked in the knees and pepper sprayed directly in the eyes.

ICC repeats prosecutor has to reconsider Gaza flotilla probe

Judges at the International Criminal Court reiterated Friday that the court's prosecutor has to reconsider her decision not to investigate the storming by Israel of an aid flotilla heading to Gaza.

The decision means Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda will now have to look at the politically charged case again and decide whether to open a full investigation, which could potentially lead to charges against Israelis involved in the storming.

Bensouda last year declined a request by the Indian Ocean island nation Comoros to investigate the May 31, 2010, storming of a vessel in the flotilla, which was sailing under a Comoros flag.

She said war crimes may have been committed on the Mavi Marmara ship, where eight Turks and one Turkish-American were killed and several other pro-Palestinian activists were wounded by Israeli commandos, but ruled the case wasn't serious enough to merit an ICC probe.

'I Would Like to See Gaza Drown in the Sea': Remembering the True Yitzhak Rabin, 20 Years After His Assassination

This week marks the 20th anniversary of Rabin’s assassination by a right-wing fanatic seeking to scuttle Israeli negotiations with the Palestinians. The past days have been occasion for wistful remembrances of the martyred former Prime Minister by Bill Clinton and a who’s who of the obsolete Israeli “peace camp” that fought for a two state solution.

With his attempts to forge the U.S.-brokered Oslo Accords, Rabin became an icon of liberal Zionism. For the Palestinians, however, he was anything but a man of peace. And, in fact, he never supported an honest two-state solution.

“The entire camp was full of gas,” he recalled. “We had to have people with gas masks all over in order to pull people who got stuck outside out of the white clouds”

During the middle of the assault, the Israeli army and border police — in a surprise move — issued a message to residents via loudspeaker. One young man caught the entire message on video.

“People of Aida refugee camp, we are the occupation army,” the border police officer’s voice boomed through a main part of the camp in Arabic. “If you throw stones, we will hit you with gas until you all die – the youth, the children, the old people, you will all die.”

“You will all die,” the officer said. “We won’t leave any of you alive. We have arrested one of you, he’s with us now, we took him from his home and we will slaughter and kill him while you watch if you keep throwing stones. Go home or we will gas you until you die, your families, your children, everyone. We will kill you,” the message continued.

Israeli forces abducted at least 28 Palestinians across the occupied territories amid weeks of the Tel Aviv regime’s aggression against Palestinians.
The arrests were made in the occupied West Bank cities of Jenin, al-Khalil (Hebron) and Ramallah as well as al-Quds (Jerusalem), Palestinian Ma’an news agency reported on Wednesday.
The report added that a number of children and minors are among the detainees.

‘IDF Turkey Shoot': Israel Shot 2,600 Palestinians in Month of October

Sling shots and stones versus bullets. Knives versus cannons. Israel has a monopoly of force over its indigenous Arab population.

What happened to the Washington’s glorious “peace process”, that diplomatic ritual which premiered all those years ago? Many believed at the time that it was all just political theater. Unfortunately, as we can see today – those skeptics were correct.

While the international media focuses on the “tension” between Israeli paramilitary forces and the Palestinian residents, the Israeli leadership have taken advantage of the crisis in order to militarily encircle the Al Aqsa Mosque, a Muslim holy site, in preparation of enacting its long-term plan of physically isolating and eventually ethnically cleansing the bulk of the remaining Palestinian population out of Jerusalem.

The military operation has been quietly underpinned by an architectural one, a Jonathan Cook revealed this earlier week:

Why did Amnesty say one thing in English and another in Hebrew?

A week ago, Amnesty International published a report on Israel’s summary executions of Palestinians.

As The Electronic Intifada reported, the human rights group said it had “documented in depth at least four incidents in which Palestinians were deliberately shot dead by Israeli forces when they posed no imminent threat to life, in what appear to have been extrajudicial executions.”

It examined the killings of teenagers Saad al-Atrash, Dania Irsheid, Fadi Alloun and Hadil Hashlamoun.

“In some cases,” Amnesty said, “the person shot was left bleeding to death on the ground and was not given prompt medical assistance, in violation of the prohibition of torture and other ill-treatment.”

Amnesty published an Arabic-language release of its report that is faithful to the English version.

Yet the no-holds-barred report was considerably softened for the organizations’s much shorter Hebrew press release (translation below).

Silver lining in US Congress debate on Palestinian “incitement”

But while this may appear to be one more addition to the never-ending list of congressional efforts backing Israel to the hilt, a number of silver linings emerged.

The resolution attracted only 71 cosponsors (42 Republicans and 29 Democrats). Similar resolutions in the past have easily attracted 200 to 300 cosponsors. This resolution was hardly rushed to the floor for a vote. It was introduced in June and members had ample opportunity to demonstrate their support for it prior to the vote.

Despite New York Democrat Eliot Engel pleading his case that “Israel has much bipartisan support in this Congress, and we intend to keep it this way,” his argument was unconvincing. Only one other Democratic spoke in favor of the resolution.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Next election, we need to clean the Congress of everyone who spends their time serving Israel instead of serving the American people!

Refugee camp bids farewell to another young martyr

Najiyeh Zawahreh in the occupied West Bank’s Dheisheh refugee camp has spent much of the four decades since her marriage visiting her family in prison.

Her husband Ibrahim was repeatedly jailed in the 1970s and ’80s for his affiliation with the leftist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and his involvement in resistance to the Israeli occupation.

The same two charges would later be used to imprison many of the couple’s children.

A mother of nine, five of Najiyeh’s children have been imprisoned at least once by Israel. Two have been injured during confrontations with Israeli soldiers.

Hamas says Britain must apologize for Balfour Declaration carving up Palestine

Palestinian political Islamists Hamas have demanded Britain apologize for agreeing to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine in 1917, a move experts say had “profound and pervasive” consequences for those who lived there.

Hamas released its statement Monday to coincide with the 98th anniversary of the declaration. It claimed the 1917 agreement between then British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour and influential Jewish community leader Baron Walter Rothschild is now null and void.

The Israeli army had earlier ordered Free Palestine Radio to be shuttered for at least six months after accusing it of spreading hatred against the Tel Aviv regime.

Rubio Blames Obama For Palestinian Violence, Promises “Unconditional Support” to Israel

As Marco Rubio emerges as the candidate of choice for the GOP establishment, it’s time to take a closer look at the foreign policy and national security beliefs he espouses. Just last week, Rubio posted a short video on Twitter in which he criticized President Obama’s approach to Israel and pledged his “unconditional support” for the Jewish state. In the video, Rubio said: "What this president and his administration are doing in Israel is a tragic mistake. What they’re doing is dangerous and it betrays the commitment this nation has made to the right of a Jewish state to exist in peace. No people on earth want peace more than the people of Israel. No people have suffered more at the hands of this violence and this terrorism than the people of Israel and they need America’s support unconditionally. If I become president, that’s exactly what they’ll have."

On Sunday, the Palestinian news agency Ma'an released a report quoting a Red Crescent spokesperson as saying that at least 760 Palestinians were shot with live rounds across the occupied Palestinian territory, while another 1,857 were hit with rubber-coated steel bullets.

At least 5,645 Palestinians sustained injuries, including burns from tear gas canisters and excessive tear gas inhalation.

After violence took hold of Jerusalem at the beginning of October, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu charged that the fault lay with the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and the Islamic movement of northern Israel. He accused them of inciting attacks against Israelis, and spurring demonstrations across the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza that have led to the killings of Palestinian protesters.

Many of his own citizens do not believe him. The 20-percent Arab-Palestinian minority in Israel believe that it is the Israeli government, and not the Palestinian leadership, that is responsible for the outbreak of hostilities, according to a survey published by the Haifa-based think tank Mada al-Carmel.

Violence in the Name of the Messiah – Noah Feldman/Bloomberg View

In July, a house in the Palestinian village of Duma was firebombed. A family of four was inside: Saad Dawabsheh, his wife and two children, ages 4 and 18 months. Only the 4-year-old survived.

The leading suspects for the attack are Jewish, part of a loose network known in Israel as “hilltop youth,” teenagers who grew up in small and often unsanctioned settlements in the West Bank, especially in the region they call Samaria. They perform what are called “price-tag” operations — violent acts meant to send the message that any attempt to remove Jewish settlers from their land will carry a “price.”

Albert Einstein once said that “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result”. That’s how it seems to be with President Obama sending his Secretary of State, John Kerry, to attempt to resurrect the talks about talks between Israel and Palestine.

No one knows if the renewed unrest among young Palestinians who are confronting Israel again with stones and knives -- and in return bullets are fired to quell the protests -- is going to lead to a third Intifada. The signs are not propitious. If not today then certainly tomorrow. Israel is running an apartheid state which, as was South Africa’s, has a termination date built in.

Settlers Remember Gunman Goldstein; Hebron Riots Continue

Confrontations between Israeli security forces and Palestinian demonstrators in Hebron continued for the fifth day in a row Friday, with the Palestinians throwing stones at Israeli soldiers and police to protest the inclusion of the Cave of the Patriarchs on a list of Israeli "Heritage sites." The site holy to both Jews and Muslims houses a synagogue and a mosque. 8-month-old dies from ‘tear gas shot by Israeli forces’ – Palestinian Health Ministry

An eight-month-old Palestinian baby has died from tear gas inhalation near the city of Bethlehem where clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had been taking place, the Palestinian Ministry of Health claims.

“Ramadan Thawabteh, eight months old, died from asphyxiation today after inhaling tear gas, fired by the Israeli army, that entered the house of his family,” a ministry spokesman said Friday, as cited by The Times of Israel.

It remains unclear whether a tear gas grenade actually landed inside the house or whether it was the gas seeping from the outside which killed the baby.

The baby’s body was reportedly transported to Beit Jala Governmental Hospital.

No confirmation or comment has followed from the Israeli side as of yet. However an Israeli army spokesperson told Ma'an news agency they were looking into the incident.

Palestinian Woman Shot at Bus Station, Six Times: Israeli Police Alter Story Again

Let’s be clear: the main reason the police have repeatedly revised their account of the events of Oct 9 is because the visual evidence has conclusively refuted their claims. They have been forced to back-pedal.

Without the video, Israa would have been charged with, and probably convicted of, terrorism offences. In line with threats from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, she would also have risked being stripped of her citizenship.

Originally the police said they “neutralised” Israa after she pulled out a knife and stabbed a security guard at the bus station in the city of Afula. When it was clear no one had been injured, the story changed: she had tried without success to stab the guard.

Then it was reported that the police had shot Israa not because of an attempted attack but because she behaved in a threatening manner towards other people at the bus station.

Netanyahu’s lies know no bounds

Four years ago, then French President Nicolas Sarkozy told US President Barack Obama in a conversation about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, “I can’t stand him. He’s a liar.” Obama replied: “You’re fed up with him? I have to deal with him every day.” It was a private conversation, but we know about it because it was accidentally broadcast to journalists.

Politicians may deliberately mislead people, omit vital facts, spin the truth a dozen different ways to serve their purposes of the moment, but they usually avoid outright lies. It’s just too embarrassing to be caught in a lie. And other politicians generally accept that some of their colleagues shade the truth to fit their own agenda as one of the regrettable realities of their trade. They all swim in the sea.

What drove Sarkozy and Obama to talk about Netanyahu like that was the sheer brazen effrontery of his lies — and he was at it again recently. In public, this time.

All of these crimes are funded by U.S. tax dollars, amounting to more than $3 billion per year!

Netanyahu: “We Will Forever Live By The Sword”, Indefinitely Control All Palestinian Territory

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced his plan to control “all of the territory” and “live forever by the sword.”

The remarks were reported in Haa’retz newspaper, according to PNN, in an article by journalist Barak Ravid.

Mr Ravid wrote: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that although he doesn’t want a binational state, “at this time we need to control all of the territory for the foreseeable future.”

MKs who took part in the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee meeting – today (Monday) – reportedly told Mr Ravid that Netanyahu had turned to the politicians present and said: “You think there is a magic wand here, but I disagree. I’m asked if we will forever live by the sword – yes.”

The prime minister also spoke about possible plans to revoke Israeli citizenship or residency from the Arab residents of east Jerusalem.
