Netanyahu’s Fear-mongering Wins

Binyamin Netanyahu’s last-minute efforts to paint himself as even more hawkish than most outside observers feared was already the case has paid off handsomely with a decisive victory over his centrist rivals in Israel’s general election. Netanyahu’s poor showing in the final polls published late last week – giving him only 20 seats – had encouraged misleading forecasts.

White House pushes Palestinian statehood in face of Netanyahu win

The White House says that a two-state solution is still the best way to resolve the dispute in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister’s Benjamin Netanyahu promise this week to prevent further establishment of a Palestinian state notwithstanding.

“A two-state solution is the best way to address this conflict,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters aboard Air Force One on Wednesday, according to USA Today.

Netanyahu said earlier this week on Monday that he would fend off efforts to create a Palestinian state if he’s re-elected as prime minister of Israel. On Wednesday, the leader declared himself victorious following a narrow win against challenger Isaac Herzog of the center-left Zionist Union.

Flashback 2014 - Have We Been Deceived About What Happened on 9/11? - Christopher Bollyn

A lecture by Christopher Bollyn that took place the 25th of May 2014 in Gothenburg Sweden.

Christopher Bollyn is an American journalist who has investigated the events of 9-11. He helped Professor Steven E. Jones in the spring and summer of 2006, when Jones found solid evidence of Thermite in the dust of the Twin Towers. The discovery and discussion of Thermite in the demolition of the World Trade Center led to serious trouble for both Jones and Bollyn. In the end Bollyn had to go into exile.

Christopher Bollyn has written several book on the subject, for example "Solving 9-11: The Deception that Changed the World".

The lecture was arranged by the Cui Bono Association.

Police investigate 51 cases of alleged voting fraud

Several voting irregularities were reported across Israel on Tuesay - ranging from impersonation, stolen ballots and threats against voting secretaries, 23 suspects were being pursued by police.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I guess we know why Netanyahu was so confident of victory before the results came in! :)

"It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything." -- Joseph Stalin

Mar 18 11:09

The first exit polls presaged a rough tie between the Likud and Zionist Union.

Exit pollsters who presented a woefully inaccurate map of Tuesday’s election outcome that night, are searching for clues as to why their results differed so vastly from the actual votes being counted.

The difference between the final public polls published the Friday before elections and the actual results are expected to have large gaps.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The reason to have exit polls is to verify the accuracy of the official vote. When they don;t line up, it means the election was stolen.

Imagine my shock.

Critics banned, Islamophobes welcomed at “We Believe in Israel” UK conference

Organizers of a major pro-Israel conference taking place in London this weekend have been vetting the political views of those registered to attend.

I know since, as a researcher examining the pro-Israel lobby in the UK, I signed up to attend, making no attempt to conceal my identity.

But those behind the 22 March “We Believe in Israel” conference, staged by a body of the same name which declares itself the “grassroots” arm of the UK’s major pro-Israel lobby group BICOM (the Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre), wrote to me to say my “application” to attend had not been accepted.

Conversely, organizations with links to the transnational Islamophobia industry appear to have been welcomed with open arms.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel would benefit from a new (un)Holy Crusade, standing off to one side while the dumb Christians and dumb Muslims kill each other off, leaving Israel with its nuclear arsenal to rule the middle eastern oil and through that oil the rest of the world!

Netanyahu's victory is clear break with US-led peace process

In his sports shop in the Palestinian village of Hizme, Mohammad al-Kiswani, aged 52, reflected bleakly on the re-election of Binyamin Netanyahu.

“When Netanyahu won,” he said, “he dried the last drop of water that could quench our thirst for a state. This time he will be more radical. He promised the Israeli public he will not negotiate a two-state solution or negotiate over Jerusalem. He has taken off his mask and it has shown an ugly face.”

Binyamin Netanyahu bids to form rightwing Israeli coalition after decisive win

According to reports in the Hebrew media, Netanyahu has already approached Aryeh Deri of the ultra-orthodox Shas party, Avigdor Lieberman, who leads Yisrael Beiteinu, and former Likud minister Moshe Kahlon, who leads a new centrist party Kulanu, which campaigned on social and economic issues.

The calls sketched out the likely shape of Netanyahu’s new government, should he succeed in putting together a coalition in the next few weeks.

That appears to be a government more rightwing and religious than its previous incarnation, reflecting Netanyahu’s own sharp tack rightwards in the last days of the election campaign, as he declared his opposition to a two-state peace solution and vowed to push ahead with settlement building.

World War II myths fuel Western crimes

Freshman US Senator Tom Cotton already has two claims to fame. First he wrote a letter to Iran in an effort to sabotage his own President’s diplomatic efforts and start a war. And then he set an all-time record by invoking Hitler in less than one minute during his first Senate speech.

Sen. Cotton thus stands condemned under Godwin’s Law, which states that whoever mentions Hitler first automatically loses the debate. “Playing the Hitler card” is widely reviled. Yet people like Cotton cannot resist the temptation.

Why has the demonization of Hitler—and of anybody one wants to demonize through comparisons to Hitler—become such a massively overused, utterly shopworn cliché?

Netanyahu Wins by Stephen Lendman

snip: Believing otherwise is foolhardy. Israel's 20% Arab population is powerless, persecuted, and denied rights afforded solely to Jews. Election results changed nothing.

Israel is like America. Democracy is pure fantasy. Not a dime's worth of difference separates major parties on issues mattering most.

Voter choices are largely bad or worse. For Israeli Arab citizens and most Jews, Netanyahu or Herzog makes no difference.

Election results changed nothing. Government headed by either leader assures ugly business as usual.

Both and likely coalition partners support:
apartheid worse than South Africa's;
militarized occupation harshness;
settlement construction on stolen Palestinian land;
war, not peace;
Arabs denied virtually all rights afforded Jews; and
continuation of decades if institutionalized racism.

Netanyahu "showed his true colors" during election

The results are in: Israeli Prime Minister and international war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, a key architect of the false flag attack on 9/11 which initiated the Orwellian, never-ending Jewish concocted "Global War on Terror," and his fanatical right-wing Likud Party scored a "decisive victory" in the latest Israeli elections, thus ensuring he will remain Prime Minister of Israel.

The Jewish Telegraph Agency recently published an article outlining some key conclusions that can be drawn from the election, including the fact that Netanyahu "showed his true colors" during the election.

‘Jew-hating campaign’ seen with Israel divestment movement on campuses

The three swastikas found over the weekend inside a Jewish fraternity house at Vanderbilt University weren’t the first — the Nazi symbols were painted recently on Alpha Epsilon Pi houses at Emory University and the University of California, Davis.

It could be a drunken prank, or it could be that those few smears of graffiti represented something larger. A survey of 1,157 Jewish college students at 55 campuses released in February by Trinity College and the Louis D. Brandeis Center found that a whopping 54 percent said they had experienced or witnessed anti-Semitism in the past year.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Those swastikas could also be another hate crime hoax by Israel's supporters to build public sympathy. There have been many such hoaxes exposed time and again, such as the professor at Claremont College in California or the jewish student caught drawing swastikas on her own door at George Washington University.

If you think about it, nobody BUT Israel still thinks the swastika is important.

When you were a child, and played cops and robbers or cowboys and indians, you wanted to be the good guy, either the cops or cowboys. The younger children had to be browbeaten into playing the bad guys whether robbers or indians. Well, the Nazis are generally viewed as the bad guys and nobody really wants to be them. The posers pretending to be modern nazis inevitably turn out to be a front for some intelligence or propaganda operation.

For the rest of us, WW2 and the Nazis are history from before we were all born, including myself, and I am 62. Were it not for Israel's constant exploitation of the Nazis for political gain, most of us would recall Hitler as poorly as we recall the Kaiser!

But contrary to the "Jew hater" or "Antisemitism" spin, the opposition to Israel's government is the result of their actions, not their religion or ethnicity. It is their BEHAVIOR that is a problem and defending Israel's aggressions by screaming "Jew hater" makes as much sense as defending the Nazis by screaming "German hater!"

Netanyahu Ahead in Israel Election Over His Chief Rival

After a bruising campaign focused on his failings, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel emerged from Tuesday’s elections in the best position to form a new government, though he offended many voters and alienated allies in the process.

While the results were still incomplete early Wednesday, Israeli news sites reported that Mr. Netanyahu’s Likud party was likely to wind up with 30 of the 120 seats in Parliament, and that his chief rival, the center-left Zionist Union alliance, would take 24 seats.

The official Central Elections Committee site showed that with just over 68 percent of the votes counted, Likud had 23.3 percent of the vote to the Zionist Union’s 18.8 percent.

Advantage Netanyahu in close race

Israel's election has yielded a fractured parliament and no clear winner, setting up a horse-trading phase that seems likely to leave Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in place and in ever deeper confrontation with the world. But according to its critics, it is also a dangerous, highly sophisticated propaganda operation, disseminating hate and disinformation on an unprecedented worldwide basis.

Bye bye, Bibi: Why today will be different for Israel’s left-leaning coalition

For much of his career, Netanyahu has had something of a Midas touch. In the elections of 1996, the first after Yitzhak Rabin’s murder, Labor’s Shimon Peres went to sleep knowing he had won a new term in office and awoke to discover that Netanyahu had pulled the rug out from under his feet. In the elections of 2009, Tzipi Livni, then head of Ariel Sharon’s Kadima party, actually did win — only to have the rug pulled out from under her feet by a coalition-making deal Netanyahu concocted with Shas, the Sephardic religious party that got four ministries out of the deal. In 2013 Netanyahu was elected despite losing a significant number of the Likud’s Knesset seats, thanks to a deal with then (and now) foreign minister Avigdor Leiberman, that reassured the jittery voters of the ultra-right.

The hypocrisy is stunning, both because of chronic US interference in the internal politics of nations around the world, and because Netanyahu tried, with the connivance of the Congress, to subvert the administration's Iran policy!

Worse, the growing schism between the pro-Israel members of Congress (which is most of them) and the White House is now on full display to the rest of the world, along with Israel's obvious subversion of that Congress. Neither of these are good for America's foreign policy as other countries see a government clearly divided against itself and all because of meddling by Israel!

Benjamin Netanyahu’s rival holds lead in Israel election

He didn’t get the invitation to address Congress on Iran, but he may just beat the man who did.

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog’s center-left coalition holds a small but clear lead as Israelis head to the polls Tuesday. If he wins and is able to form a government, Mr. Herzog is expected to present a very different face to the world than the far better known Benjamin Netanyahu has over the past six years.

Unlike Mr. Netanyahu, who made last-minute pre-election headlines Monday by declaring that he no longer supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Mr. Herzog has long supported the idea of Palestinian statehood and has pledged during his campaign to push anew for peace talks if he is elected.

The residents of these rural communities have lived in this part of the West Bank for decades, many of them since before the Israeli military occupation began in 1967 and long before the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. Many families have documents proving ownership of the land.

In the 1980s, the Israeli army declared most of the area as a closed military zone for training — a designation imposed on approximately 18 percent of the West Bank. Approximately 5,000 Palestinians, mostly herders, live in those areas. The land of Masafer Yatta was subsequently leased to the World Zionist Organization for the development of Israel’s settlements, which are illegal under international law.

Bin Laden and Bibi, Together At Last

Remember the brouhaha a few months ago when it was revealed that fighters of the Nusra Front, the al Qaeda affiliate in Syria, had seized territory adjacent to Israel? The "let’s intervene in Syria" crowd was up in arms: this supposedly proved the absolute necessity of going full-bore into the region, with US bombing raids and unrestrained support for "moderate" jihadists out to overthrow Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad. After all, we can’t leave our loyal ally, Israel, at the mercy of Osama bin Laden’s heirs, can we?

As it turns out, however, Nusra has left the Israelis alone – and, indeed, it looks like there is a de facto alliance between bin Laden’s boys and Bibi’s bombardiers.

Huckabee sends letter calling John Kerry 'offensive and hypocritical' on Israel

When Kerry claimed the Senate letter was “unprecedented” and “wrong,” Huckabee turned the tables on him. “The fact is, your willingness to trust Iran and undermine Israel is what is unprecedented and wrong,” Huckabee stated.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, Mr. Huckabee, if you really feel that way about it... Here's your rifle. Here's your parachute. We ran out of the desert camo but here's a bright da-glo orange jumpsuit from the CIA's torture centers. Watch your head climbing into that transport aircraft, and we will call Tehran and tell them you are on your way to kick their butts all by yourself.

But We The People remember the lies about stolen incubators that tricked us into the first invasion of Iraq.

We The People remember the lies about Saddam's nuclear weapons that tricked us into the second invasion of Iraq.

We The People remember how only a year ago you tried to trick us into war with Syria with more lies about poison gas.

We The People remember how there weren't really torpedoes in the Gulf of Tonkin or a Spanish mine in Havana Harbor, but how there really WERE weapons on board the Lusitania.

In short, We The People remember all the lies, frauds, and deceptions used to trick us into wars of conquest, to send our young people out to die in wars created out of thin air by and for the money-junkies. I think it is time that we have a new rule in America; that those who want war are the first to the front lines. You are all splendidly brave with the lives of other peoples' children. Let's see the true measure of your courage and commitment to war.

You first!

And just to keep you honest, please recall that Iran has not initiated a war of conquest against another nation in over 200 years; a sharp contrast to the US and Israel, which these days cannot seem to go two months without invading, drone-striking, or overthrowing someone else's nation!

Paul Krugman exposes how Netanyahu used Iran to conceal Israel’s economic disaster

The real reason behind Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent anti-Iran speech to Congress had nothing to do with foreign policy, Paul Krugman opines in Monday’s column. Insulting the president is not the way to go about that. No, Netanyahu has a serious problem at home and polls suggest that he may well get the boot in Tuesday’s election. That problem might sound familiar—Israel has become almost as unequal as America, and there is widespread economic discontent in the country that once was built on the socialist ideals of the kibbutz syztem.

Netanyahu's Last-Minute Reversal on the Two-State Solution

The speech was deemed remarkable because it contained Netanyahu's first-ever call for the establishment of a Palestinian state, a statement he had resisted throughout his long and winding political career.

Nearly six years and three Gaza wars later, and with his political legacy on the ropes, Netanyahu issued a major retraction on Monday evening: “I think that anyone who is going to establish a Palestinian state today and evacuate lands, is giving attack grounds to the radical Islam against the state of Israel,” he said in a radio interview.

FLASHBACK - Selective Memri

The reason for Memri's air of secrecy becomes clearer when we look at the people behind it. The co-founder and president of Memri, and the registered owner of its website, is an Israeli called Yigal Carmon.

Mr - or rather, Colonel - Carmon spent 22 years in Israeli military intelligence and later served as counter-terrorism adviser to two Israeli prime ministers, Yitzhak Shamir and Yitzhak Rabin.

Retrieving another now-deleted page from the archives of Memri's website also throws up a list of its staff. Of the six people named, three - including Col Carmon - are described as having worked for Israeli intelligence.

Webmaster's Commentary:

MEMRI provides translations of Arabic media to US media, but the translations are always skewed to make Arabs look bad, such as the mistranslation of Ahmadinejad's "Zionism will vanish from the pages of history" into "We will wipe Israel off of the map." At the moment, MEMRI seems to have joined Rita Katz' SITE Intelligence Group in producing highly dubious proofs of ISIS' crimes against Christians, trying to stoke the new (un)Holy Crusades of Christians against the Muslims.

Netanyahu defiant in face of potential demise

The early election has only multiplied Netanyahu’s social challenge.

Whereas the older centrist party appeals to the upper middle class, the new one appeals to the lower middle class. In fact, the 54-year-old Kahlon, who in his previous position deregulated the cell-phone market and thus slashed prices, is likely to emerge as the next finance minister. Netanyahu, detecting the unassuming Kahlon’s popularity, made this promise during a mass rally in Tel Aviv on Sunday. Labor will likely make a similar offer should it form the next government.

In such a case, Israel’s already unusual economy will likely offer an interesting combination of ambitious deregulation with expanded social spending.

Israel to build a new barrier in ?only ?border-free zone in the region

Israel continues to build versus break barriers. Furthermore, the Israeli government’s most recent ambitions, which seek to build yet another wall, show how little Israel is concerned with desegregating itself from other countries in the area.

Michael Douglas: World Must Tackle ‘The Madness’ of Anti-Semitism

ed note–the source of ‘anti-Semitism’ was never, is not now and never will be some ‘unsolved mystery’. Jews have been hated throughout history because of their behavior which is a product of the way they think. Their thinking is rooted in self-worship (God’s chosen people) mixed with criminal inclinations as inculcated into their ‘value system’ via the Torah and its various heroes and heroines who all engaged in criminal, illicit behavior. The only ‘madness’ that needs to be tackled is Judaism, Jewish thinking and the criminal, anti-Gentile behavior that it has always produced throughout history. Once this has been accomplished, those who have been prisoner to this form of mental illness will be freed of their bondage and thus, ‘anti-Semitism’ will be eradicated.

After Lieberman, imagining Israel’s new face to the world

ed note–as we have predicted here on this website may times, much of the present brouhaha involving Netanyahu is about giving this ugly woman known as the Jewish state a new makeover so as to make her more presentable to a world that has grown tired of her inherently ugly appearance. Netanyahu & co–including Lieberman–are the face of Judaism, Inc. In their brash, brazen and unapologetically-honest behavior, they reveal Judaism (and its political manifestation, Zionism) for what they truly are without all the black magic and makeup, and unless something drastic is done, the Gentile world will eventually and inevitably wake from its slumber and begin the process of expelling this dangerous virus from its body politic, and in the process, thousands of years of work in writing this malware code and loading it onto the hard drive of human thought and activity will be lost, and this is the reason for the removal of Netanyahu and his associates in Likud and Y’Israel Betenyu.

Senate Dems Prepared to Defy Obama, Oppose Iran Deal

Outrage over last week’s letter from Senate Republicans to Iran threatening to dishonor any nuclear deal President Obama reached is beginning to subside, and with it, a new round of comments are coming from Democrats indicating their support for, if not the letter, the sentiment behind it.

Several Democrats are now publicly expressing their support for various resolutions that aim to sabotage the talks, either by imposing new sanctions on Iran in violation of the interim deal, or by seeking a “veto” over the deal that would make it impossible for the US to be a part of the process.

“The letter’s incredibly unfortunate and inappropriate,” insisted Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D – ND), “that doesn't diminish my support for the legislation that we introduced.”

Sen. Bob Corker (R – TN), the author of the “veto” bill, claimed to have 12 Democrats firmly committed to his resolution, and suggested momentum is in favor of getting a veto-proof majority on it.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable.

It is very obvious these people have been given their "30 pieces of silver" by both AIPAC and Israel, and are taking the money, and running away from a reasonable deal with Iran.

Did these folks get the memo that Russia has just recently signed a military agreement with Iran?!?

I will guarantee you: an attack against Iran will surely draw Russia into the fray militarily.

And the US military, at this time in its history, doesn't have the money, the manufacturing, or the troop strength to guarantee a positive outcome to a war against Russia; and that is what makes the military option so scarily dangerous.

Jon Stewart labeled 'most disgusting Jew on planet' by Pamela Geller

Comedian Jon Stewart, a perennial critic of both the American political establishment and the current Israeli government, has been named “the most disgusting Jew on the planet” by Jewish far-right activist Pamela Geller, the Huffington Post reported.

Geller, whose many achievements include being barred from entering Britain in 2013, described Stewart as a "vicious traitor" and blamed him for the "absence of the good" in American culture. Geller was writing in the conservative mouthpiece WorldNetDaily.

Stewart, she wrote, "has long been working for the other side under the guise of comedy… [he] defines self-loathing Jew. But that’s not enough. He means to take us down with him.”

Jon Voight: Obama ‘Does Not Love Israel’

The Karate Dog star Jon Voight released a video message Sunday, to whatever the demographic for that might be, warning that Obama is an enemy of Israel, and that those seeking a deal with Iran over its nuclear program were, sigh, like Neville Chamberlain.

“I want to see Israel survive and not be overtaken by the madmen of this world,” Voight said. “President Obama does not love Israel. His whole agenda is to control Israel. And this way he can be friends with all of Israel’s enemies…America has not been the same since his presidency.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Reader comment: US president's job is not love another country, his job is to serve the interests of the United States at it's best. Love stories are left to Hollywood.
Voigh seems to support Bibi Netanyahu by attacking his opponents, bringing the silly argument that Iran today is the old Nazi Germany .
Voigh is cautioning of another Chamberlain deal with the Nazi, a typical Bibi's propaganda headline sell.

Report: Netanyahu sought to cancel Mossad briefing for U.S. senators on Iran talks

Netanyahu attempted to cancel a January briefing for U.S. senators by Mossad in which the intelligence agency warned U.S. lawmakers that a new Iran sanctions bill in Congress could derail the negotiations over the Islamic Republic's nuclear program, Time Magazine reported in Saturday.

According to the report, which was based on unnamed sources "familiar with the events," Netanyahu stripped the Mossad meeting from the itinerary of a delegation of senators led by the head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee by Tennessee, Republican Bob Corker. After a protesting Corker threatened to cut his trip short and asked Israel's Ambassador to the U.S. Ron Dermer to intervene, Netanyahu allowed the meeting with Mossad to go forward as planned, Time reported.

In late January, Bloomberg reported that such a warning was indeed issued to the senators, against Netanyahu's stance on the matter.

Washington Post BEX - War with Iran is probably our best option

The logical flaw in the indictment of a looming “very bad” nuclear deal with Iran that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered before Congress this month was his claim that we could secure a “good deal” by calling Iran’s bluff and imposing tougher sanctions. The Iranian regime that Netanyahu described so vividly — violent, rapacious, devious and redolent with hatred for Israel and the United States — is bound to continue its quest for nuclear weapons by refusing any “good deal” or by cheating.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, Mr. Muravchik, if you really feel that way about it...

BEX Alert!!! - "Bolton: Obama deal with Iran ‘fundamentally flawed’"

Former US ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton has attacked US President Barack Obama for planning to sign a “flawed” nuclear agreement with Iran.

Speaking at the South Carolina National Security Action Summit in West Columbia, SC, the potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate said the US president is negotiating “an unprecedented act of surrender” with Iran.

“This deal is fundamentally flawed,” he said on Saturday. “There really is no deal I’d trust Iran with.”

Bolton also defended 47 Republican senators, who sent a warning letter to Iran, claiming Obama’s possible nuclear agreement with Iran is a “mere executive agreement” that could be revoked “with the stroke of a pen and future Congresses could modify the terms of the agreement at any time.”

Babies of Yemeni jewish immigrants to Israel were kidnapped and given to Ashkenazi families

In Donolo Hospital they wouldn’t let my grandfather see his son’s body nor his place of burial. They also refused to provide him a death certificate.

The three languages they spoke didn’t help my grandfather and grandmother who were religious and educated. They believed the doctors and sat shiva (a week-long mourning period in Judaism) in mourning. They couldn’t imagine being lied to; who could believe that in Israel of all places, Jews will kidnap the child of other Jews.

Years later, when similar, horrific stories began coming to the fore, they understood. Since then they have not stopped tormenting themselves over how naive they were. They spoke about Rafael and looked for him until their very last day. On Iran deal, Republicans cut off their nose to spite their face

The letter signaled not only continued Republican obstructionism toward seemingly anything President Obama does, but also that the United States is potentially no longer a cohesive entity in terms of how it conducts itself in global affairs. In fact, what the Republicans have done with their attempt at scuttling the diplomatic efforts aimed at peacefully resolving the Iranian nuclear dispute, is to make a claim that has very rarely been made in US history: that the US government’s executive branch does not conduct the nation’s foreign policy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Under the Constitution, only the White House and the State Department may conduct foreign policy, and those 47 Senators who signed that letter to Iran (and the congressmen who bypassed the White House to invite Netanyahu to speak before Congress) are all in violation of the Logan Act, which carries a three-year prison sentence for the crime of unauthorized negotiations with foreign governments.

Separating anti-Semitism from anti-Zionism

Netanyahu drew thunderous applause that followed the words loudly proclaimed as if he owned them: “Never Again.” I felt sick as he spoke of the deadly rise of anti-Semitism, a hatred of Jews bound together with the destruction of Israel. “Never Again,” a powerful and highly charged statement, was used here to create a lie in the suppression of the crimes of Israeli Zionism, covered up and justified as a means to “defend itself.” What? To defend itself from a repeat of Hitler’s program to rid Europe of all Jews? Is that the vision of a Jewish State only, a place of safety for all Jews to be protected from a hostile world, with walls, and born from the blood of apartheid and ethnic cleansing? Is this not insanity to pursue an agenda with complete disregard to human values except for Jews?

The long history of Israel gaming the ‘Iranian threat’

The only power of which the Zionist entity is afraid of, is the Islamic Republic of Iran, which believes that in accordance with human rights and democracy all the people of Palestine, whatever their religious inclination, have the right to carry out a referendum for one single country from the borders of Lebanon in the north to the Sinai in the south, and from the River Jordan in the east to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. Thus, in a bid to deflect attention from its crimes against humanity, Israel has indulged in the absurd propaganda that Islamic Iran is trying to manufacture a nuclear warhead despite the explicitly fatwa of Islamic authorities, including the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. But this crying wolf by Zionist premier, Benjamin Netayanho, has been found out by the west and its intelligence agencies to be a sheer lie that was repeated once again last week in Washington when some influential members of the US

Caligula’s Horse By Eric Margolis

snip: Adelson, who has reportedly called for nuking Iran, is also Bibi Netanyahu’s primary political and financial sponsor. So Adelson can say he owns the US Congress and Israel. Some Israelis, who will vote next week in a very tight election, are uneasy that Netanyahu is “owned” by the American gambling mogul Adelson. Is this the Zionist dream of a state built on morality, social fairness, and honesty?

Democrats are now largely owned by Israeli-American billionaire Haim Saban who calls himself somewhere to the right of the late Ariel Sharon. Saban, a media mogul, recently gave $5-10 million to the Clinton Library and is Hillary’s principal backer.

Bibi’s visit to Congress was clearly intended as pre-election political grandstanding. Marketing fear of Islam, Iran, ISIS, Hezbollah, Syria, al-Shebab and Boko Haram are now the stock in trade for embattled politicians in Israel, Canada, Australia and France.

New poll: Netanyahu's Likud down to 20 seats

The two final polls published before Israel's election predict that Zionist Union will have a four-seat margin over the prime minister's Likud.

A Channel 10 poll published on Friday, just three days before next week's Knesset election, has given only 20 seats to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party - the lowest the party has polled since the leadup to the vote.

n another poll published Friday evening by Channel 2, Likud got 22 seats, while Zionist Union got 26.

This four-seat gap between the two main parties reflects the results of most of the polls conducted over the past week.

Still the right-wing bloc was ahead of the center-left. In Channel 10's poll, the Arab Joint List got 13 seats, while Yesh Atid and Habayit Hayehudi both polled at 12 seats and Kulanu polled at 10. Shas stayed on seven seats, United Torah Judaism polled at six seats, and Yisrael Beiteinu, Yahad and Meretz all got five seats.

US says UN will approve final nuclear deal between Iran, P5+1

US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki has said that the United Nations Security Council would endorse any final nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 group.

"We would anticipate that, if we're able to reach a joint comprehensive Plan of Action between the P5+1 and Iran, an endorsement vote would be held by the UN Security Council," Psaki told reporters on Friday.

She added that Washington’s unilateral restrictions imposed against Tehran would be in place, even if the UN Security Council decides to ease its sanctions on the country.

Iran and the P5+1 group -- the US, Britain, France, China, Russia, and Germany -- are currently working to complete the outlines of a nuclear deal by the end of March after they reached an interim agreement in November 2013.

The two sides have by the end of June to clinch a final agreement.

A petition to the White House demanding treason charges against 47 Republican senators who attempted to sabotage US President Barack Obama's efforts to reach a nuclear accord with Iran has garnered more than 260,000 signatures.

The petition, on whitehouse.gov, was filed on Monday and had 263,312 signatures as of early Friday morning, well above the threshold of 100,000, which requires the White House to respond.

In an unprecedented move on Monday, a group of Republican senators ignored protocol and sent a letter to Iran, warning that whatever agreement reached with Obama would be a “mere executive agreement” that could be revoked “with the stroke of a pen and future Congresses could modify the terms of the agreement at any time.”

The Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran Caucus

This week hardliners in the U.S. Senate took another step toward thwarting detente by writing to Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei that if he and President Obama negotiate a “mere executive agreement” on Iran’s (civilian) nuclear program that is not approved by Congress, it will bind neither Obama’s successor nor a future Congress. The letter comes on the heels of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bellicose speech about Iran before Congress. Like that speech, the senators’ letter is intended to sabotage the P5+1 talks now in progress.

The condescending letter, signed by 47 of 54 Republican senators, must have Iran’s Revolutionary Guard celebrating. With enemies like these who needs friends?

I was “part of a terror organization,” says Israeli pilot turned activist

In July 2002, Salah Shehadeh, head of the armed branch of Hamas in Gaza, was bombed in the middle of the night with an F-16 dropping a one-ton bomb on his house where he was sleeping with his children and his wife. The bomb killed fifteen people, most of them children, and about 150 were injured. If I needed some answer for my questions and doubts, that was clear: this is a terror attack. And I’m part of a terror organization.

US leak investigation stalls over fears of revealing US-Israel anti-Iran operation

An investigation into a top US military general accused of leaking sensitive information has been halted over fears it could confirm a joint US-Israeli covert operation against Iran's nuclear program, according to US officials.

Federal prosecutors had been investigating whether former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine General James E. Hoss Cartwright, leaked highly classified information to a New York Times reporter, current and former US officials say.

The leaked information was about a highly-classified operation to hinder Iran’s nuclear enrichment capability through cyber-sabotage, an operation not acknowledged by Israel or the US.

Here in the United States, meanwhile, few politicians have questioned why American taxpayers continue to subsidize the Hebron settlers, accused by international observers of human rights violations that include thefts, battery, and murder. In 2003, the most recent year for which figures are available, an estimated 45 percent of the settler community's funding came from the Brooklyn-based Hebron Fund, whose status as a tax-exempt nonprofit allows Americans to write off donations to the group.

IDF prepares for possibility of multi-pronged terror attack coming from Sinai

"The scenario that we are preparing for is a multi-pronged terror threat directed against our forces and civilians in the Eilat area,"

"In the past, we have seen incidents in this area. The scenario is a multi-pronged attack, not just at one site, and we will likely have to deal with this challenge without prior warning."
***
"our mission as a division is to ensure a feeling of security and routine in the area. Whether it is in Eilat or Nitzana. The operational challenges are very complicated, because on the one hand you have here a peaceful border, and on the other hand a frontier area in Sinai has developed that enables terrorist groups to grow like Ansar Bayit al-Maqdis which became an ISIS affiliate. This organization, as we have seen recently, creates a number of terror attacks against the Egyptian army, and this is one of the more bothersome challenges which we are preparing for."

Cotton’s Iran Letter - The GOP, Iran, and Diplomatic Sabotage

The letter to Tehran, dated March 9, reads like a childish exclamation, an impetuous feeling that its authors are being left out in the cold of history. “It has come to our attention while observing your nuclear negotiations with our government that you may not fully understand our constitutional system.”

With school teacher dourness, the note goes on to defang and denude any agreement that might arise between the Obama administration and that of Ayatollah Khamenei and his colleagues. “Congress,” it reminds the readers, “plays the significant role of ratifying [international agreements]”.

Israel elections: rising panic in Likud ranks as opposition gains ground

Polls indicate growing lead for Zionist Union led by Yitzhak Herzog over Binyamin Netanyahu’s party with less than a week before vote

Mar 12 12:17

Yes. Netanyahu is Suddenly in Real Trouble

Over the last three days a new raft of polls has been published which show ZC/Labor with a lead of between two and four seats over Likud. That is at the very outer range of the leads ZC/Labor has had. But the trend has not been this pronounced in the past or with a group of polls all seeming to agree on the same movement. What's more, Likud's numbers clearly seem to be dropping in absolute terms. There have also been press reports — supported by my own reporting — that internal polls from the two major parties show a bigger gap than the public polls.

There are also signs of erosion, though still limited, for the entire center-right bloc — not just Likud, but the allied parties from which it would build a natural coalition.

So what happened?

GOP Senate Aides: Iran Letter Was ‘Lighthearted’

The unprecedented effort by Senate Republicans to sabotage ongoing US-Iran relations with a letter earlier this week, in which they openly warned Iran of their intentions to dishonor any agreements President Obama made, was a lighthearted jest, according to Republican aides.

“The administration has no sense of humor,” one aide complained, after reports that the letter was likely a felony offense, and could amount to treason.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"I mean, come on; REALLY! We didn't think anyone was going to take us seriously! Honest! It was a joke! We are not traitors! We're not Israel stooges (much). We're not violating the Logan act. But we still think nuking Iran is the way to go!"

Netanyahu Nukes Iran Peace Talks; Vows to Sabotage Any Agreement

As the United States and the other P5+1 nations (UK, Germany, France, China and Russia) inch closer to a preliminary agreement with Iran, which would assure that country’s right to peaceful nuclear power while preventing development of atomic weapons, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ratcheted up an open and pathological attempt to sabotage the international effort toward peace and stability in the war-torn Middle East. To this end, it appears he even leaked secret details of negotiation proposals. But the Zionist fiction of a “nuclear Iran” rests on a fraud, and it is Israel that is the rogue atomic weapons developer.

Just as the Netanyahu speech has hurt Netanyahu and the Likud wing of the lobby, the Cotton letter is turning out to be an own-goal, scored by the neoconservatives.

The neoconservatives reached out and groomed Tom Cotton when they saw him coming down the pike. The Harvard College and Harvard Law grad spent just one term in the Congress before challenging and defeating Mark Pryor last fall. And he got tons of money then from the Israel lobby.

Iran and Syria are the last two holdouts among the Muslim states still resisting the New World Order. Plus, have you noticed that the U.S. media pays NO ATTENTION to the beheadings being committed by Saudi Arabia or Mexican drug gangs--beheadings that have been going on for much longer and with much greater frequency?) And Bibi is pulling on the heart strings of the American people (Christians in particular) by creating the new monster that must be destroyed, namely Iran (and Syria).

In the aftermath of Bibi’s speech, we now have warmongering GOP senators threatening a declaration of war against Iran, even though Iran has not threatened a country in over 250 years.

Shapira said that “I realized something was rotten when the Israeli government started what was called the “assassination policy” in 2001-2003. Palestinian resistance failed to bring liberation and more extreme attitudes took place, such as suicide bombings and other [forms of] armed struggle. The government thought to assassinate everyone that has to do with armed resistance. Pilots would be sent with missiles to shoot the car of this person. In the beginning, this car could be driving outside of town where just the car was hit. Later they would allow shooting suspects when they are closer to the city. Eventually the assassination would be even if he’s in the middle of the market, or in his house at night with all of the family around.

Slash-and-Burn to Oblivion - The Technocorporate Empire State Strikes Back

Now-failed states like Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Libya are the blueprint for a world order modeled on the principles of a slash-and-burn corporate structure that seeks to eliminate “non-performers” from its vast portfolio. Surplus labor worldwide has been given the pink slip in the form of an order of execution, and condemned to live out its numbered days warehoused in squalor. Israel’s once refined methods of incremental genocide has now evolved into a more efficient method of mass extermination for its one-time cheap labor force, now permanently confined in the world’s largest prison on land coveted for an emerging class of settler-property developers. Whether these “non-performers” reside in the Gaza strip, housed in some US immigration detention center, or “loitering” on some pre-gentrified patch of concrete, the memo from HQ is explicit in its downsizing imperatives worldwide.
