If a Genocide Falls in the Forest

There's a wide and mysterious chasm between the stated intentions of the Israeli government as depicted by the U.S. media and what the Israeli government has been doing in Gaza, even as recounted in the U.S. media.

With the morgues full, Gazans are packing freezers with their dead children. Meanwhile, the worst images to be found in Israel depict fear, not death and suffering. Why the contrast? If the Israeli intent is defensive, why are 97% of the deaths Gazan, not Israeli? If the targets are fighters, why are whole families being slaughtered and their houses leveled? Why are schools and hospitals and children playing on the beach targeted? Why target water and electricity if the goal is not to attack an entire population?

The mystery melts away if you look at the stated intentions of the Israeli government as not depicted by the U.S. media but readily available in Israeli media and online.

ISRAEL & PALESTINE: THE MAPS TELL THE TRUE STORY

The truth is that far from being the poor victim it likes to portray itself as, Israel is in fact the most aggressive and belligerent nation in the region, having invaded pretty much everyone it shares a border with.

The following maps show just who is wiping who off of the map!

Crimes against Humanity. Israel’s “Own Words”: “We Must Expel Arabs…We Struck Civilians Because They Deserved It”

“We must expel Arabs and take their place.”– David Ben-Gurion, October 5 1937, Journal of Palestine Studies, Vol. 41, No. 2 (Winter 2012), University of California Press, pp. 245-250.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here are some more quotes by Israelis regarding Palestine.

1. "There is a huge gap between us (Jews) and our enemies, not just in ability but in morality, culture, sanctity of life, and conscience. They are our neighbors here, but it seems as if at a distance of a few hundred meters away, there are people who do not belong to our continent, to our world, but actually belong to a different galaxy." Israeli president Moshe Katsav. The Jerusalem Post, May 10, 2001

2. "The Palestinians are like crocodiles, the more you give them meat, they want more".... Ehud Barak, Prime Minister of Israel at the time - August 28, 2000. Reported in the Jerusalem Post August 30, 2000

3. " [The Palestinians are] beasts walking on two legs." Menahim Begin, speech to the Knesset, quoted in Amnon Kapeliouk, "Begin and the Beasts". New Statesman, 25 June 1982.

4. "The Palestinians" would be crushed like grasshoppers ... heads smashed against the boulders and walls." " Isreali Prime Minister (at the time) in a speech to Jewish settlers New York Times April 1, 1988

5. "When we have settled the land, all the Arabs will be able to do about it will be to scurry around like drugged cockroaches in a bottle." Raphael Eitan, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defence Forces, New York Times, 14 April 1983.

6. "How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return them to." Golda Maier, March 8, 1969.

7. "There was no such thing as Palestinians, they never existed." Golda Maier Israeli Prime Minister June 15, 1969

8. "The thesis that the danger of genocide was hanging over us in June 1967 and that Israel was fighting for its physical existence is only bluff, which was born and developed after the war." Israeli General Matityahu Peled, Ha'aretz, 19 March 1972.

9. David Ben Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister): "If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?" Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp121.

10. Ben Gurion also warned in 1948 : "We must do everything to insure they ( the Palestinians) never do return." Assuring his fellow Zionists that Palestinians will never come back to their homes. "The old will die and the young will forget."

Israeli operation kills more than 400 Gaza children

Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip has killed 408 children, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said on Tuesday.

The death toll exceeded that of the sad 2008-2009 Operation Cast Lead that killed 350 children.

According to UNICEF, over the last month the operation injured no less than 2,500 Palestinian children. A one-month infant is among the victims of the Israeli fire at the Gaza Strip, which is one of the world’s most densely populated areas. The conflict has already claimed lives of 1,800 Palestinians. Six children had been injured, the fund said.

According to the UN, civilians account for more than 70% of those killed; children make up a third of the total civilian death count.

President Carter: Israel – Not Hamas – Is to Blame for War

Carter says that Israel has committed war crimes:

There is no humane or legal justification for the way the Israeli Defense Forces are conducting this war. Israeli bombs, missiles, and artillery have pulverized large parts of Gaza, including thousands of homes, schools, and hospitals. More than 250,000 people have been displaced from their homes in Gaza. Hundreds of Palestinian noncombatants have been killed. Much of Gaza has lost access to water and electricity completely. This is a humanitarian catastrophe.

Israel: the Scourge of Empires

Empires throughout history break apart and collapse for various reasons.

However, they usually bankrupt themselves because of foreign entanglements and unholy alliances that ultimately lead to unsustainable expansions and wars.

Strangely, the collapse of most major Empires from the Western world has been because of alliances and entanglements with Israel in one form or another. It is something that needs to be acknowledged. Otherwise, we face a calamity of biblical proportions.

Political observers often call Afghanistan the Graveyard of Empires. Apparently, they’re not observing hard enough.

Chances are, Google removed Bomb Gaza under the terms of service which does not allow any kind of hate speech and abusive material.

ISRAEL LIES AS GAZA DIES

All governments lie, as I.F. Stone pointed out, including Israel and Hamas. But Israel engages in the kinds of jaw-dropping lies that characterize despotic and totalitarian regimes. It does not deform the truth; it inverts it. It routinely paints a picture for the outside world that is diametrically opposed to reality. And all of us reporters who have covered the occupied territories have run into Israel’s Alice-in-Wonderland narratives, which we dutifully insert into our stories—required under the rules of American journalism—although we know they are untrue.

UK activists shut down Israeli arms factory

For nearly a month, Israel has bombarded Gaza from land, sea and air. More than 1800 Palestinians have lost their lives and war crimes have been committed. To our collective shame, the UK government has not only failed to take action to pressure Israel to stop its massacre, but has refused to take steps to end the material support it provides to Israel’s brutal regime of apartheid and colonialism. When governments support crimes against humanity, grassroots movements must take direct action.

A group of activists from the London Palestine Action network have today (5/8/14) chained the doors shut of an Israeli weapons factory based near Birmingham in the UK and are now occupying the roof. As part of the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement (BDS) and in response to calls for action from Palestinian movements, we are demanding the permanent closure of the factory and an end to all forms of military trade and cooperation with Israel.

Israel/Gaza: U.S. shipment of fuel to Israel's armed forces must be stopped as evidence of Gaza war crimes mounts

Amnesty International is appealing to the US government to immediately halt the transfer of a US fuel shipment currently on its way to Israel for use by the Israeli military. Amnesty has repeatedly called for a comprehensive arms embargo on all parties to the conflict, amid mounting evidence that war crimes have been committed by both sides in the past four weeks in Gaza.

The US government has continued to supply hundreds of thousands of tons of fuel - including fuel for fighter jets and military vehicles - to Israel’s armed forces despite a soaring civilian death toll from aerial and other military attacks. The last US jet fuel delivery arrived in Israel on 14 July, a week after the conflict began. Nine previous shipments were made from the US to Israel during 2013 and 2014. A fuel tanker with the latest US fuel shipment is now sailing past the Azores and is due to arrive in Israel on 12 August.

Webmaster's Commentary:

For years the US Government gun-grabbers have been trying to say that those who provide the guns bear the responsibility for the crimes committed with them. Fine. Let us hold them to that. Palestine is attempting to take Israel to the ICC for war crimes trials. The US Government, as provider of the weapons with which the crimes were committed, should be arrested and sent to the Hague as well.

Israel says ground troops out of Gaza as cease-fire takes effect

The Israeli military has said that all of its ground forces have been removed from Gaza as a 72-hour cease-fire went into effect Tuesday.

The truce, agreed upon Monday by Israel and Hamas, took effect at 8 a.m. local time Tuesday (1 a.m. ET). The Times of Israel reported that a barrage of rockets were fired from Gaza minutes before the cease-fire was due to take effect. The paper also reported that Israeli's Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted two rockets over central Israel, while two other rockets fell into open areas in southern Israel near the Gaza border, causing no damage or injuries.

In Gaza City, where streets had been deserted during the war, traffic picked up and shops started opening doors.

Prominent Israelis: Israel’s Treatment of Palestinians Is Apartheid

One of the intellectual giants of Israel’s founding generation – Yeshayahu Leibowitz – prophesied:

The corruption characteristic of every colonial regime would also prevail in the State of Israel. The administration would have to suppress the Arab insurgency on the one hand and acquire Arab quislings on the other. There is also good reason to fear that the Israel Defense Force, which has been until now a people’s army, would, as a result of being transformed into an army of occupation, degenerate, and its commanders, who will have become military governors, resemble their colleagues in other nations.

International community loses patience with Israel actions in Gaza

Israel faced growing international condemnation of its actions in Gaza on Monday after a strike near a UN school sheltering civilians left 10 people dead and sparked widespread outrage.

As Israel's operation in the besieged territory entered its 28th day, the international community appeared to be losing patience with a confrontation the Palestinians say has left more than 1,800 dead in Gaza.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius led the charge, issuing one of the most strongly worded condemnations yet from a Western official.

"How many more deaths will it take to stop... the carnage in Gaza?" Fabius said in a statement.

"Israel's right to security is total, but this right does not justify the killing of children and the slaughter of civilians," Fabius said.

"A political solution is essential... and should in my opinion be imposed by the international community," he said.

MEGA PUKE FACTOR 9 BEX ALERT - Gaza: Spare Me Your Sick, Manipulative, Dead Baby Propaganda Photos

The boy - no older than five - was on a hospital bed. It must have happened very recently because there was still colour in his face. His eyes were closed and his expression - he can't have seen it coming, thank God - was serene. You might almost have imagined him asleep, if it weren't for the fact that his body was in bits: head and severed torso; an arm; legs and lower body; entrails.

Whoever did this, I thought, is really, really sick.

But I didn't mean the Israelis - who, I imagine, were the people I was expected to blame. Rather, I meant the sicko who scooped up the boy's remains while they were still fresh and insisted on laying them out, like some grotesque jigsaw, in order to snap them artfully for a propaganda shot. And also, all the sickos out there who have been reposting photos like these all over the internet in order to make what they seem to imagine is an unarguable point about Israel's war on Hamas.

Cash, Weapons and Surveillance: the U.S. is a Key Party to Every Israeli Attack

The U.S. government has long lavished overwhelming aid on Israel, providing cash, weapons and surveillance technology that play a crucial role in Israel’s attacks on its neighbors. But top secret documents provided by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden shed substantial new light on how the U.S. and its partners directly enable Israel’s military assaults – such as the one on Gaza.

Over the last decade, the NSA has significantly increased the surveillance assistance it provides to its Israeli counterpart, the Israeli SIGINT National Unit (ISNU; also known as Unit 8200), including data used to monitor and target Palestinians. In many cases, the NSA and ISNU work cooperatively with the British and Canadian spy agencies, the GCHQ and CSEC.

Clash Of Civilizations

The Israeli army confirmed today that up to 130 Palestinian civilians were slaughtered in Rafah last Friday following the triggering of the Hannibal protocol - an IDF directive that is designed to thwart the capture of Israeli combatants. Israel unleashed its full firepower and flattened an entire neighbourhood using tanks, artillery and gunships murdering130 Palestinians just to make sure that one Israeli soldier, Lt. Hadar Goldin didn’t fall into Hamas’ hands alive.

The only interpretation of this massacre is that Israel is a homicidal state completely immune to international conventions and without any respect for civilian lives.

ISRAELI HARD RIGHT EXPOSE ZIONISMS TRUE AIMS FOR GAZA

I have for these last ten years on this blog been writing that the ultimate goal of right-wing Zionism has always been the creation of a Greater Israel that would ultimately incorporate the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, the Golan Heights and even south Lebanon up to the Litani River if they thought they could get away with it. I have written over the years that it has never been the intention of Israel to allow any form of Palestinian state to exist. Talks about a ‘two state solution’ and ‘Palestinian sovereignty’ have only ever been conducted by Israel in order to appease the West, particularly the US, in order to ensure the continuing flow of aid and support to Israel. There has been an endless parade of ‘talks’ about ‘peace’ over the years.

Brian Eno on the Israel-Gaza crisis: How can you justify images such as this?

Today I saw a picture of a weeping Palestinian man holding a plastic carrier bag of meat. It was his son. He’d been shredded (the hospital’s word) by an Israeli missile attack – apparently using their fab new weapon, fléchette bombs. You probably know what those are – hundreds of small steel darts packed around explosive which tear the flesh off humans. The boy was Mohammed Khalaf al-Nawasra. He was four years old.

I suddenly found myself thinking that it could have been one of my kids in that bag, and that thought upset me more than anything has for a long time.

Then I read that the UN had said that Israel might be guilty of war crimes in Gaza, and they wanted to launch a commission into that. America won’t sign up to it.

Israeli blogger laments that the Gaza war is making her fat.

The blog by Rachel Weinstein, an American who moved to Israel some years ago to make her home, opens thus:

“Try as may, I cannot stop rockets with M&M’s. Hershey’s syrup doesn’t stop the sound of booms, Cocoa Pebbles don’t stop sirens, and chocolate, glory be thy name, doesn’t stop war. I have tried in earnest to employ all of these methods and alas, Operation Tzuk Eitan is still in full swing. My name is Rachel and I am a chocoholic.”

“The longer I sit, the less energy I have. The less energy I have, the less desire to cut open a bag of lettuce instead of plowing through a box of cereal. War really is bad for the waistline but it also wreaks havoc on the mind and soul. And that coupled with a case of ‘I am now one with my chair,’ makes for yet more stress, more anxiety, more poundage, and no clearer end to what’s going on …”

Pro-Palestinian rallies took place in Paris and in Marseille, Montpellier and Avignon on Saturday.

In southern Paris, 11,500 protesters (according to police, but 20,000 according to the event’s organizers) marched between Place Denfert-Rochereau and Les Invalides.

Since the first violent demonstration in the capital on July 13, police have not allowed such events in the northern areas, near synagogues and other Jewish institutions.

NZ Govt must respond to Israel’s Gaza onslaught

The Green Party is calling for new measures in response to the latest round of violence inflicted on Palestine by Israel, including divestment by the New Zealand Government and the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador.

The Green Party’s response comes after yet another United Nations school has been shelled by the Israeli Defence Force, resulting in further loss of civilian life.

"Israel’s refusal to heed the call of world leaders to stop the civilian slaughter in Gaza beggars belief," Green Party spokesperson on global affairs, Dr Kennedy Graham said today.

"The UN Secretary-General has described the indiscriminate bombardment of civilians in Gaza as ‘a moral outrage and a criminal act’.

Obama’s ‘helplessness’ an act: Snowden reveals scale of US aid to Israel

The turmoil gripping the Middle East is a direct result of the provision of cash, weapons and surveillance to Israel by the US, the latest Snowden leak illustrates. Obama’s “helpless detachment” is just for show, the Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald writes.

In a bold examination, the former Guardian journalist reveals the amazing contrast between what the United States says publicly, and what it does behind the curtain. This involves President Barack Obama’s apparent heartbreak over the Middle Eastern region, as well as the American love for publicly listing Israel as a threat to regional peace at a time when billions of dollars’ worth of its weaponry and intelligence were being supplied to the Jewish state since the 1960s.

Greenwald has published his analysis of the latest leaked Edward Snowden document of April 12, 2013, wherein it’s explained just how false the notion that the US is a bystander to the Middle Eastern crisis really is.

Over 10,000 rallied at the White House today demanding an end to the Israeli lead bombing and destruction of the Gaza territory. The historic demonstration was the biggest anti-war march in over a generation and bore resemblance to anti-war rallies of the Vietnam War era.

The number of people killed in Gaza has spiked to over 1600 and more than 8,000 reported injured. The only remaining power plant in Gaza was destroyed Thursday by Israeli attacks as was the Islamic University of Gaza.

HOW THE ISRAELI (AND WESTERN) PRESS ARE LYING ABOUT THE SITUATION IN GAZA

“During the night someone launched a rocket somewhere behind the hospital. Now this sentence from my article is spreading in the pro-Israeli medias. I mentioned this in my article because I’m a professional journalist. I try to cover the events truthfully as I see them and I strongly condemn these kind of actions.

“But I find it very disgusting how this one sentence was taken out context to be used as an excuse to target civilians in Gaza. My story became quickly a tool of propaganda. The people sharing this story are not even trying to understand the situation as a whole. They are just looking for excuses to Israeli actions in Gaza. I refuse to be part of this kind of propaganda.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

More to the point, we do not know WHO is launching a rocket next to the hospital, to give Israel an excuse to bomb it.

In photos: Israeli bombs destroy historic al-Omari mosque in Jabaliya

Israeli forces bombed the historic al-Omari Mosque in the northern Gaza City of Jabaliya on Saturday morning.

The mosque, which is believed to have stood on the same site since 647 AD, was almost completely destroyed in the bombing.

The portico and minaret dated back to the medieval Mamluk period, or at least 500 years.

The mosque stood at the center of Jabaliya and was known as the “Great Mosque” by local residents.

Israel said that their forces had bombed five mosques over night, claiming that “weapons caches and Hamas command and training facilities” were concealed within them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, then why do we not see these rockets and launchers in the photographs of the wreckage? We spotted the remains of demolition charges in photos of the wreckage of the World Trade Towers (and those were NOT supposed to be there), so where is the evidence that these bombed schools, hospitals, and mosques were being used this way?

IN PHOTOS ~~ 10,000 STRONG MARCH IN NEW YORK MARCH FOR GAZA’S CHILDREN

The continuing slaughter of innocents in Gaza brought a crowd of what one police officer estimated to be 10,000 people into the streets of New York on Friday. They met at the headquarters of CNN and then marched through the crowded theater district to the Fox News Building. At both places they accused the corporate news entities of lying to the public and shouted “Shame!” repeatedly. The crowd was mostly young, multi ethnic, sad, and very angry. The tourists on the streets along Broadway looked astonished and fascinated. They read the signs and explained what was happening to their children. Some gave a thumbs-up and said they were glad to see people out protesting what was happening. It seemed that very many of the demonstrators were young Palestinian Americans who felt a strong tie to the Palestinian people struggling in Palestine and Israel and wanted to express strong feelings of solidarity with them as well as protest the torment that Israel was inflicting.

Foreign Affairs Minister Baird under fire for Hamas comments

Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird has come under fire from Human Rights Watch over comments that “Hamas will be solely to blame for any further loss of life” after a Gaza ceasefire quickly unravelled Friday. In a statement , Mr. Baird said Hamas had violated the ceasefire and that Israel was forced to defend itself. “Hamas has lost all credibility, and we must continue to work to isolate this terrorist organization that values death over peace,” Mr. Baird said.

Human Rights Watch issued its own statement, saying Mr. Baird’s comments amounted to a “green light for more unlawful Israeli attacks that kill civilians.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel broke the cease fire 9 minutes after it started with a missile attack into Gaza. The soldiers "decommissioning" a tunnel inside Gaza were another violation. That Baird is unaware of this only proves his incompetence at his job.

NYT on why it hasn’t shown photos of Hamas fighters: We don’t have any

Of the 37 images that make up the Times’ most recent three slide shows of photos from the conflict, there’s not a single shot of a Hamas rocket launch (though more than 2,800 rockets have been fired at Israel) or of Hamas fighters using mosques, schools or hospitals as bases of operation.

Why not? After all, Hamas attacks against Israel are crucial to understanding what’s underpinning this conflict.

Here’s what Eileen Murphy, the Times’ vice president for corporate communications, says:

Our photo editor went through all of our pictures recently and out of many hundreds, she found 2 very distant poor quality images that were captioned Hamas fighters by our photographer on the ground. It is very difficult to identify Hamas because they don’t have uniforms or any visible insignia; our photographer hasn’t even seen anyone carrying a gun.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The inescapable conclusion is that Israel is lying about the HAMAS rockets being there in the first place. That is, after all, Israel's official reason for the starvation blockade on Gaza ever since HAMAS won the elections. One may assume that the New York Times, which remains a loyal servant of Israel, would publish every photo they could find of HAMAS fighters in Gaza, their rockets, or the remains of rockets and rocket launchers in the debris of the bombed hospitals and UN schools. The New York Times admits its photographers are looking for such damning images, but simply cannot find them. Daily we are told that the "poor suffering" people of Israel live in fear of HAMAS' rockets, yet the hills above Gaza are filled with Israelis and their picnic baskets, enjoying the slaughter much as the Romans cheered as the Emperor threw the Christians to the lions, apparently unconcerned about the rockets the media claims terrify them.

Likewise, were their actual attacks in Israel creating equivalent damage to what is seen in Gaza the obedient and pro-Israel corporate media would splash it across the papers and TV screens of the world, to offset the political damage arising from the images and videos coming out of Gaza. again, there just isn't any. The claim that tiny Gaza is a threat to the world's sixth largest nuclear power is as phony as the claim that HAMAS kidnapped and killed those three teenagers in the West Bank that Netanyahu used to justify this latest aggression against Gaza, the third in the last six years.

Fool me once...

Freedom of Speech Except When It Comes to Israel

It would be funny if it wasn't so creepy. An author or journalist can write anything he wants about the United States -- or, in fact, about any foreign country -- without causing legions of critics to question the propriety of his doing so. That is, unless the subject of the author's work is Israel.

Think about it. Books have accused FDR of having advance knowledge of Pearl Harbor while others argue that the U.S. government -- in the form of the FBI, CIA or even Vice President Lyndon Johnson -- had President Kennedy killed. In other words, books that accuse U.S. presidents and U.S. government agencies of high treason are okay. This is America, and authors, journalists and bloggers can write what they like. Spying on the Spies

Israeli spying in the US is a topic the government, and the news media, don’t like to talk about, and yet the GAO has stated [.pdf] the Israelis run the “most aggressive espionage operation against the United States of any US ally” and that “classified military information and sensitive military technologies are high-priority targets for the intelligence agencies of this country.”

In view of this, a new Wired report that Israeli companies are a key link in the government’s top secret high-tech spying operation, code-named “Stellar Wind,” is sure to raise eyebrows.

REWRITING THE BIBLE IN ISRAEL

When you shall besiege a city a long time, and wage war to capture it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an ax against fruit trees… Only the trees which you know are not trees for food, you may destroy and cut them down to build siege machinery against the city waging war with you. (Deut. 20:19-20)

FLASHBACK - Most Members of Congress Remain Committed to Israel’s Blockade of Gaza

Administration officials and Washington lawmakers indicated the United States is not willing to urge Israel to lift its blockade of Gaza, even as activists seek to highlight the issue after civilian deaths during Israel’s interception of a Gaza-bound flotilla.

Webmaster's Commentary:

With the recent release of the United Nations Human Rights Council report condemning the brutal Israeli attack on the flotilla and declaring the blockade of Gaza a violation of international law, every single member of the United States Government who supports that blockade is an accessory after-the-fact in a violation of international law. How much longer will we live in a nation run by criminals willing to subvert the laws for Israel's gains?

Back in 1948 and 1949, the USSR imposed a blockade on West Berlin to starve that nation into abandoning their elected leaders and accepting Soviet rule. This is identical to the situation in Gaza where Israel is trying to starve the Palestinians into abandoning their elected leaders and accepting Israeli rule.

But back in 19648, we had a far more moral and principled government that had the spine to stand up for what is right, and the US and its allies launched the Berlin Airlift, flying 200,000 flights into Berlin, delivering 13,000 tons of goods per day for a year until the blockade collapsed.

Oh to have real leaders like that again!

"On the radio talk shows and T.V.
You hear one thing again and again
How the U.S.A. stands for freedom
And we come to the aid of a friend

But who are the ones that we call our friends
These governments killing their own?
Or the people who finally can't take anymore
So they pick up a gun, or a brick, or a stone

And there are lives in the balance
There are people under fire
There are children at the cannons

And there is blood on the wire..."

ISRAEL: THE MAPS TELL THE TRUE STORY

The truth is that far from being the poor victim it likes to portray itself as, Israel is in fact the most aggressive and belligerent nation in the region, having invaded pretty much everyone it shares a border with.

The following maps show what Israel has actually done.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Re-posted in light of Israel's latest bombing of Gaza, preceded by the traditional Israeli false-flag to justify it.
