‘Deal or war’: Is doomed dollar really behind Obama’s Iran warning?

This is not just about Iran. It is about other major world economies moving away from holding the US dollar as a means of doing business.

In his drastic prediction of war, one might assume that Obama is referring to Israel launching a preemptive military strike on Iran with the backing of US Republicans. Or that he is insinuating that Iran will walk from self-imposed restraints on its nuclear program to build a bomb, thus triggering a war.

But what could really be behind Obama’s dire warning of “deal or war” is another scenario – the collapse of the US dollar, and with that the implosion of the US economy.

That scenario was hinted at this week by US Secretary of State John Kerry. Speaking in New York on August 11, Kerry made the candid admission that failure to seal the nuclear deal could result in the US dollar losing its status as the top international reserve currency.

The Truth Avoided by Mainstream Media Liars

My factual demolition of the anti-Snowden story has been read by hundreds of thousands of people, very probably millions, around the internet, 50,000 so far on this site alone, and tweeted by thousands of people. It has been tweeted at – repeatedly – every single mainstream media journalist who has been repeating the government propaganda.

The extraordinary thing is that no jurnalist, anywhere, has made any attempt to deny the facts I give. Not one journalist in the entire crowd of corporate media paid lackeys at the BBC, Sunday Times, Reuters or anywhere at all has addressed or tried to refute the facts which make it impossible that their Snowden story is true. They have not addressed it in their publications or even tried to defend themselves on social media. Not one journalist, not anywhere. (One or two have pointed out that the fifth point is an ad hominem, which is true. Not all ad hominems are invalid, but the first four facts destroy the argument anyway).

Tear Drop “A Gift From the People of Russia to the USA”. Why were we not told about Tear Drop?

I got to admit, I didn’t even know this memorial existed. However, it took me two seconds to realize why – it received zero publicity. Now why do you suppose that? Why hasn’t the media expressed their gratitude? Name me another country that’s done more? This is a stunning memorial which pales into insignificance whatever the real terrorist gangsters are trying to do at ground zero. The very thought of Larry Silverstein & Frank Lowy having anything to do with the memorial for 9/11 victims is positively gut-wrenching!

TV flickers as viewers find new screens

The second quarter is always tough for the pay-TV industry, as families move home and college students disconnect, but this time it was the worst on record for net customer losses: an estimated 566,000 people cut the cord. With the exception of Verizon, which is still rolling out its video service, all pay-TV companies lost subscribers during the quarter.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As an industry professional for much of my life, I can tell you a few things that have gone wrong. The most obvious is that cable TV has little if any new content. Every time I go through the channel list, I see repeats of things I have seen before, usually timed to support the latest remake, which if you think about it, actually undermines the desire to go see yet another retelling of the same story. How many times can anyone watch the Bourne Tedium, or Iron Man? Even the new pay-per-view movies seem to be nothing but remakes of things seen before, and Hollywood seems unable to come up with a truly interesting film these days, in part because films have to be politically correct (a black human torch in the latest Fantastic Four), cater to Washington DC's (and Tev Aviv's) propaganda agenda, have plenty of product placements to keep the marketing department happy, then have the script stripped of anything that might offend anyone on the planet, anywhere, at any time. A process like that is guaranteed to produce a lot of commercial repetitive mush, and it is the rare film indeed that manages to survive the current production process with anything resembling an interesting story still intact.

CHINA SENDS IN CHEMICAL WARFARE TROOPS, ORDERS TIANJIN BLAST SITE EVACUATION AFTER TOXIC SODIUM CYANIDE FOUND

“Right now, we don’t know anything,” said Sun Meirong, 52, an office cleaner who descended 13 flights of stairs with her 1-year-old grandson after the explosions blew in her apartment windows and front door.

… According to the Tianjin Tanggu Environmental Monitoring Station, calcium carbide was one of several toxic industrial chemicals stored by the company. The others included sodium cyanide, which can produce hydrogen cyanide, a volatile and flammable liquid; and toluene diisocyanate, which can also react violently in the presence of water.
We were quite skeptical the Chinese government can maintain the charade for long: unlike radiation whose effects take years to materialize, and thus afforded the Japanese government free reign to lie to the people with impunity for years, the effect of the Chinese toxic gases manifest themselves quickly, and usually with a combustible or deadly outcome.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Chinese government did the right thing in ordering the evacuation, but they will have to come clean with the Chinese people as to how this happened in the first place.

Intelligent chemical storage has be underpinned with a real protocol, so that this kind of accident (if it was, in fact an "accident") doesn't happen again.

The Corporate-State Media’s War Propaganda Exposed!

Corporate Media Crap Coverage of Sanders Is Norm

There are now articles about the predictable fluff BS horserace personality lifestyle crap coverage by the corporate media of the Bernie Sanders for president campaign (and articles about the predictable non-coverage of the Jill Stein for president campaign).

I wish it would all go away, as I think having no election would be preferable to holding such a broken one, and I'd limit even an open, free, credible, functioning, publicly-funded, fairly reported election to something under 6 months in duration.

But the Sanders coverage is actually far better, not worse, than I would have predicted. And its awfulness is par for the course, as is perhaps pointed out by this exchange I had recently with a reporter from Politico, who addressed me as Congressman Kucinich's former campaign manager, even though I never was that:

NEOCON 'GODFATHER' WARNS AGAINST "TOO MUCH TRANSPARENCY" IN GOVERNMENT

In case you still harbor any doubts about who this guy is, and where he is coming from, he recently wrote an Op-ed in the Financial Times arguing that too much government transparency is a bad thing.

It is clear that there are vast areas in which modern governments should reveal more. Edward Snowden’s revelations of eavesdropping by the National Security Agency has encouraged belief that the US government has been not nearly transparent enough. But is it possible to have too much transparency? The answer is clearly yes: demands for certain kinds of transparency have hurt government effectiveness, particularly with regard to its ability to deliberate.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is desperation on the cusp of madness, and his case against Judicial Watch just craters when you understand that their FOIA was submitted because the current administration didn't tell the truth about what really happened in Benghazi because it was "too embarrassing", and Americans deserve to know the truth here, particularly with regard to Hillary Clinton's candidacy for the Presidency, relative to how she handled Benghazi.

JEB BUSH LINKED TO CARTEL MONEY LAUNDERING WHILE SERVING CIA

During the recent Republican presidential candidates’ “debate” in Cleveland, former Florida Governor John Ellis Bush (JEB) wanted to recount his eight years as governor of the Sunshine State; however, it is not Bush the politician who should be of interest to voters but Bush the Central Intelligence Agency “non-official cover” banker in Venezuela and Miami-based real estate businessman/money launderer who should alarm the American electorate.

While Jeb’s brother, George W. Bush, glossed over his AWOL status with the Texas Air National Guard, Jeb does not have a military record to defend but he does have a CIA employment record to fess up to.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The whole Bush family is so thoroughly soaked in sleaze, I hardly know where to start.

And remember that great "alleged" villain, Osama Bin Laden?!? The Bush family had strong business ties with his brother, with a company called "Arbusto Energy". As reported at http://www.mafhoum.com/press2/65Safp.htm:

The unexplained death of Salem, Osama bin Laden's oldest brother, in 1988, brought to an abrupt end a long and intriguing relationship between President Bush and the head of the bin Laden family fortune. A photograph from 1971 has surfaced and been printed in English papers showing Osama, age 14, and his brother Salem, age 19, enjoying a summer holiday at the Astoria Hotel in Falun, Sweden. Christina Akerblad, the hotel owner, told the Daily Mail, "They were beautiful boys, so elegantly dressed. Everybody loved them." Osama embraced Islamic fundamentalism and is now the world's most wanted man. "Salem went on to become a business partner of the man who is leading the hunt for his brother," the Daily Mail's Peter Allen said. "In the 1970s, he and George W. Bush were founders of the Arbusto Energy oil company in Mr. Bush's home state of Texas." President Bush and the bin Laden family have been connected through dubious business deals since 1977, when Salem, the head of the bin Laden family business, one of the biggest construction companies in the world, invested in Bush's start-up oil company, Arbusto Energy, Inc. James R. Bath, a friend and neighbor, was used to funnel money from Osama bin Laden's brother, Salem bin Laden, to set up George W. Bush in the oil business, according to The Wall Street Journal and other reputable sources. Through a tangled web of Saudi multi-millionaires, Texas oilmen, and the infamous Bank of Credit and Commerce International, Bush was financially linked with the bin Laden family until Salem met an untimely end in a freak flying accident near San Antonio in 1988.

WATCH: Disabled vet rips cop who told him he couldn’t park in handicap spot because ‘you can walk’

A Florida police officer received an earful from a disabled veteran after harassing him for parking in a handicap spot in front of a Walgreen’s store, despite the fact that the veteran had a handicap sticker in his window.

UPDATE: Florida cop placed on administrative leave for berating disabled veteran over handicapped parking.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How DARE this cop uncork on a disabled Veteran like this?!? Is this something his watch commander suggested before he went on his rounds that day?!?

I have to wonder.

Although as a Christian pacifist, I am an adamant critic of these horrific wars without end, ultimately fought for private profit, our Vets, particularly our disabled Vets, should be helped and supported in every way. Maybe even a kind "Good morning, sir!", with a smile, would have been the most appropriate gesture here.

WATCH: British reporter in Ferguson finds whites openly carrying rifles and peaceful blacks being arrested

Kylie Morris of Channel 4 in Britain visited Ferguson on Tuesday and tried to explain to the British people why white “Oath Keepers” were allowed to openly carry firearms on the street while peaceful black protesters were arrested.

“The men, calling themselves Oath Keepers, only added to the already simmering tensions,” a Channel 4 anchor noted before tossing to Morris for a live report from Ferguson.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Does anyone out there with an IQ more expansive than that of a carrot, believe for a millisecond that this treatment is random or accidental?!?

This is obviously a deliberate attempt to exacerbate racial tensions until they spill over into riots.

And why?!?

To cause enough of these nationally so that President Obama has his excuse to suspend the Constitution and Bill of Rights and impose martial law.

And to the people of Ferguson (and across the country) who have legitimate grievances, stay strong, stay peaceful, and stay united. May all the pastors, church fathers, rabbis and imams in your community walk with you, peacefully, and in prayer.

Please remember what Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King were able to do with peaceful protest, and let that be your inspiration.

Donald Trump Supporters Bring Fox News And Roger Ailes To Their Knees

You'd have to be pretty naive not to see how the Fox News hosts tried to take down Donald Trump at the first real GOP debate in Cleveland last Thursday. As the leading candidate for the GOP nomination, it's fine for the hosts to pepper Trump with tough questions, but most of those said questions focused on his previous statements of over-the-top rhetoric, while none of the other candidates were forced to defend their history of extreme beliefs and opinions in the same way.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Megyn Kelly never asked Chris Christie about "Bridgegate." Megyn Kelly never asked Scott Walker about allegations that he was part of a scheme for illegally coordinated fundraising, or his campaign against public workers as governor. Martha McCallum didn't ask Rick Perry about his recent indictment for coercing a public official. Martha McCallum didn't ask Carla Fiorina about how she almost ran Hewlett-Packard into the ground while CEO. Megyn Kelly didn't ask Mike Huckabee about his molestation scandal. Megyn Kelly didn't ask Ted Cruz about the fact that he is not a "natural-born citizen" and therefore not legally allowed to run for President. Megyn Kelly did not ask Rand Paul about the indictment of three of his top associates. Megyn Kelly's venom was aimed at Donald Trump and only at Donald Trump.

In Greece, it all feels like a calm before a huge storm.

Aug 12 06:13

The Centerpiece of US Foreign Policy Struggle

The basic question for all Americans is whether we will act as an independent, sovereign country pursuing peace through diplomacy, as we currently see unfolding with Iran and Cuba, or a submissive military instrument, directed by Israel’s proxies hell-bent on destroying America for Israel.

While many US intellectuals, liberals, progressives and leftists support the US-Iran agreement (see the Scientists’ Letter to Obama on Iran Nuclear Deal, Aug. 8, 2015 with 29 top scholars and Nobel laureates support diplomacy), few would dare to identify and attack Israel’s US proxies as they promote Tel Aviv’s agenda pushing the US to war with Iran. A brief glance through the sectarian left press, for example, The Socialist Register, New Politics, New Left Review, finds no discussion of the powerful, well-financed, highly organized, elite-driven Israeli proxies and their role in determining US wars in the Middle East, and more specifically the war agenda toward Iran.

Bundled Cable Death Watch: Q2 Cord-Cutting Soars to 566,000

The largest swindle big business ever played on the American people — forcing us to pay huge cable bills for dozens of channels we never watch — is slowly coming apart. Even with an ever-increasing population, the pay TV industry (cable and satellite) lost a net 566,000 subscribers last quarter. When you add in Q1, that’s a total of 887,000 lost customers in just six short months.

There is just no question that customers are getting tech savvy and budget savvy. The result is a growing wave of cord-cutters (last quarter was the second biggest drop in pay TV customers in history) as people discover the beauty of streaming on budget-conscious services like Netflix and Amazon, that charge around $10 a month.

Megyn Kelly: 'I Will Not Apologize for Doing Good Journalism'

FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly said Monday night that she will not apologize for her questions to Donald Trump in Thursday's debate, saying "we agree to disagree."

"Apparently Mr. Trump thought the question was unfair and I was attacking him," she told viewers. "I felt he was asked a tough but fair question. We agree to disagree."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Good journalism? I beg to disagree. Megyn Kelly launched into an attack on Donald Trump right from the start.

There was a rich harvest of "Good journalism" arrayed on stage for Megyn Kelly to pick and choose from, but her venom was aimed at Donald Trump and only at Donald Trump.

My Two Cents: Disinformation in decline

It is a popular myth that the press is in business to make money with advertising. In truth, most of the American media are in business to make official announcements and shape public opinion.

Abraham Lincoln said, “In this and like communities, public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail; without it, nothing can succeed. Consequently, he who molds public sentiment goes deeper than he who enacts statutes or pronounces decisions.”

What Americans know and don’t know is carefully controlled. Americans may be the most uninformed and misinformed people in the world, thanks to newspapers like the Post and Gazette.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I disagree that the level of government/corporate disinformation is in decline. Quite the contrary, they seem to have shoved the throttle wide open in a last-ditch attempt to reclaim the high ground.

On 3 August 2015, MikisTheodorakis, the Greek world famous music composer and Resistance figure, called upon the Greek people – and the peoples of the world – to respect Democracy – the very Democracy, born in Greece some 2500 years ago and given to the world as a set of values for respect for each other, for humanity – for equal rights and for free expression.

The following text summarizes MikisTheodorakis’ appeal to stop the Syriza Government from selling out the Greek people’s country and stop the currently – almost in secret – ongoing negotiations with the troika on the modalities of the € 86 billion loan and the details of the new austerity measures – “negotiations” to be concluded by about 20 August 2015.

Trump trumps them all in Republican debates — Pepe Escobar

"Our country is in serious trouble. We don’t win anymore..." Donald Trump

Nobel Prize winner Joseph Stiglitz has said that the US, on the financial front, is “on the wrong side of history.” As for the Republican candidates chasing the nomination for the 2016 US presidential race, well, they may qualify only for the ‘wrong’ side of the bargain, as they hardly know what ‘history’ means.
And that brings us to a mammoth specimen of entertainment/reality TV; the first Republican debate, no less than a seemingly-eternal 15 months before the actual US presidential election.

It definitely started with a – what else? – celebrity TV bang. Would anybody raise their hands if they were mulling running as a third-party candidate, and ignore the eventual Republican nominee?

The Assault On Donald Trump Shows That Our 2 Party System Is Really A 1 Party System

Were you sickened by the Republican debate the other night? The hype leading up to the debate was unbelievable. Never before had there been so much interest in a debate this early in an election season, and it turned out to be the most watched program on Fox News ever.

Hijacking the Rhetoric

Holocaust could be countered, neutralized and nullified with 100 million African slave victims of Jewish slave traders, 60 million Christian Russian victims of Jewish Communism, 8 million Holodomor, 1.5 million Armenian genocide, 15 million burnt German victims, and the still on-going Palestinian and Middle Eastern genocide.

Soft Power Dictatorships Versus A Soft and Hard Power Failing Imperial Democracy

The New York Times is a very good newspaper, except where ideology and party line demands intrude. Unfortunately these intrusions occur often and are of great importance. The Times is the paper of record of an imperial superpower whose leaders have long and regularly flaunted international law and used their great military and economic power recklessly, in good part because they can get away with it. They push and push, eventually starting or provoking a war when their target refuses to surrender (see Gareth Porter’s Perils of Dominance). The collapse of the Soviet Union worsened this situation by removing a force of containment.

Greece – A Dramatic Appeal by Mikis Theodorakis

MikisTheodorakis, the Greek world famous music composer and Resistance figure, called upon the Greek people – and the peoples of the world – to respect Democracy – the very Democracy, born in Greece some 2500 years ago and given to the world as a set of values for respect for each other, for humanity – for equal rights and for free expression.

He referred in particular to the Greek referendum in which the Greek people on 5 July 2015 voted with an overwhelming 61% against the continuation of the economic and financial strangulation of Greece by the infamous troika – the European Central Bank (ECB), the European Commission (EC) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

A Cold Summer for Europe

In the whole modern history of Europe, there was not such a shameful surrender, or even treason. ‘Alexis Tsipras’ is a Greek translation of ‘Vidkun Quisling’ or of ‘Maréchal Pétain’.

After the Syriza debacle of Greece, there is a very little trust for left-wing rhetoric. In the whole modern history of Europe, there was not such a shameful surrender, or even treason. ‘Alexis Tsipras’ is a Greek translation of ‘Vidkun Quisling’ or of ‘Maréchal Pétain’. The man received the full support of his people, and chickened out. (The first step of Syriza after the fiasco was to enter into military cooperation with Israel.) Now only the far-right Golden Dawn speaks loudly against surrender to the bankers, but this is a party in opposition, and it risks nothing by speaking out.

The Grateful Dead's Farewell Tour Was The Most-Watched Musical Pay-Per-View Event Ever

Over the years it’s been made clear that the Grateful Dead have a massive, dedicated following, so It isn’t hard to believe that the livestreaming of the band’s final five concerts ended up being the biggest pay-per-view musical event of all time.

(*That comes from Forbes .
In addition , many mainstream media magazine publications , such as
-Life https://timedotcom.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/lifegratefuldead_cover_...
-Newsweek http://www.dead.net/sites/default/files/gallery/nw_gratefuldeadsmall.jpg
-Rolling Stone http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/91tDvQCbpML._SY355_.jpg have released 'Special Commemorative Issues' for the departure of The Grateful Dead's stand in the rock concert tour circuit
As a fan , maybe not at 'Dead Head' level 1 status , I'm aware of this .
The question on my mind , concerning this media blitz is;
Where The Grateful Dead were always about exploiting Peace , and Good Vibes , along with an acute ability to gather an amazingly large crowd for their events , do you think the Corporate Media is exploiting The Grateful Dead's amazing 50 year run in an attempt to shiest us into thinking that they too are great exploiters of Peace and Good Vibrations ?
I was just wondering .)

Why did the Times publish an article about a Novorossia dirty bomb?

News from The Times that Donetsk militia is engaged in the creation of a "dirty bomb" in cooperation with Russian scientists is not good.

I would not hurry to treat it as a typical nonsense, which is constantly written about Donbass.

Of course, it is impossible to seriously discuss this story in the way its portrayed in the West.

But the fact is that when someone wants to commit a crime — he must first create an alibi. Or, in our case, to create the background information that would blame the enemy.

Vaccine industry social influence document reveals attempted bribery of 'key social influencers' such as Disney / Marvel, ESPN, Oprah and a CNN reporter

The document is entitled Roadmap for Action to Reach the Healthy People 2020 Goals for Adult Vaccination. It is dated November, 2013, meaning that almost everything mentioned here has already been implemented as we've seen with the Disneyland measles false flag outbreak, the push for SB 277 in California and the insertion of pro-vaccine propaganda into Netflix programs.

The document openly admits that the vaccine industry pays people to exert social influence calling for increased sales of lucrative vaccines.

Vaccine industry specifically names ESPN, Disney, Oprah Winfrey, Sanjay Gupta and others

The document calls for the vaccine industry to, "Identify influential spokespersons from multiple sectors (e.g., business, sports, music) to reach each identified target population."

The Liberation of US Foreign Policy

Once we defeat the Israeli-directed attempt to derail the Iran deal in Congress we can safely go out into the streets declaiming: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God almighty, we’re free at last!

The Iran deal is a turning point in US foreign policy, and its approval by Congress will represent a sea change in American politics: it will mark nothing less than a day of liberation which future generations might dub “VI Day” – victory over Israel day.

The signing of the Iran deal, and its probable approval by Congress – it doesn’t look like the War Party has the votes to overturn it – heralds the victory of the countercoup, i.e. the overthrow of the Lobby’s stranglehold and the eventual restoration of a pro-American foreign policy. This was evident in practically every line of President Obama’s recent speech at American University, and the text deserves closer examination than it has so far gotten.

International Courts and the Mystery of the Malaysian Airliner

People are not equal in death, either. Some deaths are more newsworthy than others. The media and politicians love spectacular acts of terror, fires, disaster, the death of the wealthy and privileged, a death conducive to a cause. Such is the death of 300 passengers and crew of the Malaysian airliner flight 17 in the crash in Donbass, near Russian-Ukrainian border. Their deaths, regrettable as they were, are deemed to be of much greater importance, or at least newsworthiness than those of some ten thousand local people killed by the indiscriminate shelling of Donbass towns by Kiev regime troops, or that of a million Arabs. It is conducive to the cause of pushing Russia into a corner.

House Members In Israel for Obama-Bashing

Should Congress prevail in undermining “this strong, principled policy diplomacy”, we would have reached a shameful moment in U.S. foreign policy.

While President Barack Obama was speaking about the people’s business, and his Kennedy-like preference for diplomacy over war, freshman members of the U.S. House of Representatives were either 5,000 plus miles away in Israel, or preparing to go there to be feted and educated by a foreign power which opposes the nuclear agreement the U.S. has reached with Iran and major European powers.

Democratic freshman congress members who may or may not have heard the Obama speech, are traveling in Israel (all expenses paid) courtesy of an educational nonprofit “affiliated with” the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the American Israel Education Foundation, AIPAC’s charitable arm.

What “affiliated with” means is that AIPAC runs the trip while its “education foundation” pays the bills.

Donald Trump terrifies Republican field

Donald Trump didn’t just steal much of the show at a Republican debate Thursday night, he didn’t just command the stage whenever he chose to — he is an experienced TV performer, after all — but he showed his contempt for the very debate that he was taking part in.

And the audience ate it up.

Time and again, Trump said outrageous and sometimes repellent things and didn’t just get away with it, but often turned boos into cheers.

One of the Fox News moderators, Megyn Kelly, said to him: “You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”

“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump retorted.

There was an explosion. But it was an explosion of laughter.

BEX ALERT - Republican presidential debate: How Donald Trump's performance may stall campaign

He immediately earned the ire of the crowd, and likely many Republican supporters in general, when he would not commit to supporting the party's eventual nominee and would not rule out running as a third-party candidate. Many believe a third-party run would only split the Republican vote and ensure a Democratic victory.

"That, I think, damaged him considerably," said Republican strategist Ron Bonjean. "I think his numbers will slip because of that. It just didn't show loyalty to the Republican party."

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Eventual nominee?" Looks like the GOP has already decided who their candidate will be and wants to make Trump look "disloyal" for not going along with the pre-ordained dynastic ruler!

Following Thursday’s Republican debate in Cleveland, presidential hopeful Donald Trump told reporters that he felt the questions posed to him were “inappropriate” and that Fox News host Megyn Kelly especially “behaved very badly.”

“The questions to me were far tougher, and that I — supposedly, according to what everyone’s telling me, I won the debate, according to the call-ins and everything,” Trump told reporters after the debate, according to BuzzFeed. “But the questions to me were not nice, I didn’t think they were appropriate, and I think Megyn behaved very badly personally.”

No one eclipses Donald Trump at GOP debate

(CNN)It was the most dramatic opening to a presidential debate in recent memory—and Donald Trump stole the show before he'd even said a word.

Perched comfortably at the top of the polls and lapping his closest rivals by double digits, Trump was expected to do well at the first GOP presidential debate of the 2016 season on Thursday night. The onus was on his competitors to seize the spotlight, but none of them managed to change the dynamics in a race that Trump has dominated for more than a month.

Many contenders delivered strong performances and polished answers. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio showed his formidable political skills and compelling personal narrative. Ohio Gov. John Kasich gave crisp answers as he played to his home state audience. And Rand Paul and Chris Christie slammed each other during an impassioned debate over government surveillance.

CHILD MURDERS CONTINUE IN ISRAEL ~~ SILENCE CONTINUES IN WESTERN MEDIA

Not for the first time, Western media have been extremely accommodating to Israeli propagandists. The crocodile tears of Israeli politicians over one child’s death are treated as if they are genuine. Yet European and American journalists have not stopped to ask why the same politicians failed to condemn the killing of other young Palestinians on the same day.

If those journalists did some serious analysis or research, they would realize that the killing of baby Ali was not an aberration. Palestinian children and teenagers are regularly killed by Israelis.

Shocking! Roger Ailes Broke His Own Rules For The Debate

I know you're all as shocked as I am to discover that Roger Ailes massaged which final debate polls to use to decide who the top ten should be. Awhile ago I remarked that there was no way he'd leave Kasich out in the cold. He likes Kasich. Perry, not so much,

And so it came to pass that Perry got sent to the kids' table and Kasich was invited to hang with the adults. But in order for that to happen, it was imperative that Ailes ignore the NBC/Wall Street Journal poll which had Kasich in a virtual tie with Rick Perry and instead use the Quinnipiac poll, an older poll which had Kasich in front of Perry by a couple of percentage points.

Video Games, Predictive Programming, and the 21st Century Skinner Box

By Rusticus

Perhaps the most encouraging development in fostering freedom in our modern era is the rise of effective “counter-propaganda” to the machinations of Globalism, the likes of which have (arguably) not been circulated so widely since the pamphleteers of the 16th and 17th Centuries. The digital era has brought rise to propaganda and psychological warfare’s perfect foil: The alternative media’s adoption of open source intelligence analysis.

Open source investigations abound on virtually every subject of Deep Political significance today; and, as a result, propaganda can be deconstructed by anyone with an Internet connection. US Politicians’ Racist Anti-Iranian Remarks Don’t Make Headlines

Imagine a US senator publicly calling the Chinese “evil people.” Imagine a governor saying African leaders are “animals.” Imagine a presidential candidate claiming Latinos are “liars.” In each of these cases, the media would rightfully explode, condemning the politicians for their overt racism.

A notable exception to this, however, exists in the US political system and media establishment: When politicians make ludicrous claims about Iranians, when Republicans deploy orientalist myths about purportedly bloodthirsty Persians in order to sabotage their own government’s attempts at diplomacy, the media largely sit on their hands.

RISK ASSESSMENTS ARE BEING USED TO SENTENCE PEOPLE TO JAIL AND DEATH

States are trying to reduce prison populations with secretive, new psychological assessments to predict which inmates will commit future crimes and who might be safe to release, despite serious problems and high-profile failures.

Five things to know about risk assessment surveys:

THEY COULD BE USED IN A COURT SYSTEM NEAR YOU: Dozens of different surveys are being used across the country. The surveys vary in the kinds of questions asked and how they are used. Largely confined to parole and probation decisions, these surveys are increasingly being used for sentencing.

IT'S A SECRET: The survey results — and in some cases the actual survey questions — are clouded in secrecy. Some states never release the evaluations, shielding government officials from being held accountable for decisions that affect public safety.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A head of the board of Governors from the US penal system needs, immediately, to call the head of the board of Swedish penal systems, because Sweden has been able to close down many of their prisons, due to not having enough inmates to fill them, and have kept their rate of recidivism very low.

And why?!?

(This is something the American penal system just doesn't collectively do)

The total focus of incarceration is rehabilitation in Sweden. In the US, by the time felons have "done their time", they are apt to be more psychologically more messed up than when they went in.

Fox announces lineup for GOP debate -- with Trump at center stage

Fox News has announced the lineup for the first Republican presidential debate, one that will probably be dominated by the figure standing at center stage, Donald Trump, whose attention-grabbing skills have allowed him to leap to the front of a crowded GOP field over the last six weeks.

Flanking Trump in the 10-candidate debate lineup will be Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida and onetime GOP front-runner, and Scott Walker, the governor of Wisconsin.

Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida, Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Govs. Chris Christie of New Jersey and John Kasich of Ohio and Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, will round out the field.

Slouching Toward Bedlam: Choosing The Fox Debate Candidates

Here Are the Polls Fox News Will Use to Select the Candidates for the First GOP Debate

Tomorrow around 5 p.m., Fox News executives are scheduled to gather in Roger Ailes's second-floor conference room at the network's midtown headquarters to decide the lineup of candidates who will participate in the first Republican debate on Thursday in Cleveland. Fox’s decision to limit the prime-time field to ten candidates has become a flash point in the GOP. Perhaps the biggest point of contention: The network’s refusal to tell campaigns which polls it will be using to select the participants for the 9 p.m. debate moderated by Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier, and Chris Wallace (the remaining seven candidates will face off in a 5 p.m. debate that’s being viewed as something of a JV contest). How Fox will choose the field has been an intense topic of speculation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

FOX News just now ran a story in which they polled GOP voters as to who they would NEVER vote for, in which they claim Trump comes in with 33%. This is a pathetic and obvious attempt to come up with some numbers justifying sidelining Trump if not ejecting him outright.
