WHAT REALLY HAPPENED | The History The US Government HOPES You Never Learn!

"If all bank loans were paid, no one would have a bank deposit, and there would not be a dollar of currency or coin in circulation. This is a staggering thought. We are completely dependent on the commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash or credit. If the banks create ample synthetic money, we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent monetary system. When one gets a complete grasp upon the picture, the tragedy and absurdity of our hopeless position is almost incredible -- but here it is. It (the banking system) is the most important object intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that our present civilization may collapse unless it is widely understood and the defects remedied very soon." -- Robert Hemphill, for 8 years credit manager of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

Southern Calif. School District Bravely Refuses To Ban Confederate Flag Clothing, Even After Scuffle Between Students

Apple Valley High School in the Inland Empire area of Southern California has bravely refused to ban Confederate flag clothing, even after a publicized scuffle between students over the matter. A 14-year old black student claimed that a white student repeatedly punched him after he asked him about a Confederate flag belt buckle. Witnesses, however, has another version and claimed the black student was the aggressor.

"The district superintendent says they haven't banned confederate flag clothing because then they'd have to ban a long list of other clothing," a school spokesman said.

In the age of hyperconnectivity, people have access to a sea of information with the click of a mouse. The internet has become the backbone of the world's infrastructure, which has caused many people to question its safety.

Dow Industrials Bounces From 1,000-Point Plunge

WEBMASTER ADDITION: This is not a bounce, it is a rig! Markets around the world are crashing and it makes no sense for the DOW to open 1000 down, then magically climb back up to -100, other than that the FED is pouring tons of new money all over Wall Street to buy st9ocks and drive their values back up.

Who pays the price for all this new money? YOU do, through inflation.

So this is just another Wall Street scam to take more of your wealth for themselves without your permission!

Film industry spokeswoman to be Biden's communications chief

Vice President Joe Biden has chosen a top film industry official and former spokeswoman for John Edwards' 2008 presidential campaign to be his new communications director, the White House said Monday.

Kate Bedingfield joins the vice president's team just as Biden is seriously considering whether to run for president. But White House officials are subject to strict limitations on engaging in political activity, and Bedingfield's duties are expected to focus on the vice president's official activities, not on preparations for a potential campaign.

Bedingfield returns to the White House from the Motion Picture Association of America, where she was vice president of corporate communications and the top spokeswoman. She previously held senior media roles in the Obama White House and worked for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H.

"She will be a key adviser to me, a terrific asset to our office, and an important member of the entire White House organization," Biden said in a statement.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The birds circling over Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton may think those creatures making wide, gentle circles over her campaign are bluebirds of happiness, but they’re looking more and more like buzzards. They look hungry.

The news gets grimmer with every news cycle as she revises and extends everything she has said about her email machine and the classified information that may be on it. She says she can’t remember, and we can believe that much. Sir Walter Scott got it right: “O, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The sheer weight of the uncertainty about this, and so many other Clinton problems, may well put her candidacy in deep peril.

Making Sense Of The Sudden Market Plunge

snip: The purpose of printing up trillions and trillions of dollars (supposedly) was to create economic growth, drive down unemployment, and stoke moderate inflation. On those fronts, the results have been dismal, horrible, and ineffective, respectively.

However, the results weren’t all dismal. Big banks reaped windfall profits while heaping record bonuses on themselves for being at the front of the Fed’s feeding trough. The über-wealthy enjoyed the largest increase in wealth gains in recorded history, and governments were able to borrow more and more money at cheaper and cheaper rates allowing them to deficit spend at extreme levels.

Bernie Sanders versus Obama & the Clintons: The Big Difference

I state here why I have come to support Bernie Sanders for President: Whereas Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama — the modern Democratic Establishment — have been so conservative they might as well have called themselves “conservative” (and they didn’t say it because they needed to be able to win Democratic Party primaries), Sanders’s record shows that he isn’t like that at all; he’s an authentic democrat, and always has been, even when he didn’t call himself one (but only a “Progressive,” and a “socialist — like in Scandinavia”). I don’t care what a politician calls himself or herself, only what the person actually is, as the person has proven to be by the actual record as a public official.

Banksterism 101: Banks Get Credit for Helping the Poor — By Financing Their Evictions?

In 1977, Congress wanted to make sure commercial banks fulfilled their commitment to serve all communities in America, regardless of income level. “A public charter conveys numerous economic benefits,” said William Proxmire, then head of the Senate Banking Committee, “and in return it is legitimate for public policy and regulatory practice to require some public purpose.” Under the Community Reinvestment Act, banks are periodically examined for how well they provide lending and investment to low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods where they take deposits. Since its enactment, 97 percent of all banks examined have received a “Satisfactory” or “Outstanding” grade, according to the Congressional Research Service.

Jeremy Corbyn will 'sack' Bank of England governor if they refuse to print free money

Richard Murphy, who is seen as the architect of Mr Corbyn's economic agenda, the so-called 'Corbynomics', warned that there was "no such thing" as an independent Bank of England.

He said that if Mr Corbyn's government wanted to use the cheap money from the Bank any governor who refused to carry out the plan for "people's quantitative easing" should be "on the next plane" out of Britain.

Under the proposal, Mr Corbyn would create a national investment bank to fund infrastructure projects which would issue debt to be bought by the Bank of England - effectively meaning the Bank would fund government spending on housing, energy, transport and other projects.

Mr Murphy said current governor Mark Carney has said it would be possible but other experts have warned the Labour leadership frontrunner’s plans would fall foul of EU laws intended to avoid runaway inflation.

Deadly Cheering for War in Ukraine by Western Press

The Washington Post editorial board positions itself as an opponent of the Minsk II peace agreement.
The editors want even more aggressive support to the governing regime in Kyiv than what is already being given.
In particular, the newspaper objects to the ceasefire agreement that it says beleaguered Kyiv was pressured to sign in Minsk, Belarus on February 15, 2015. The editorial was headlined, ‘Putting Ukraine in an untenable position’ and its reads, “Yet now the German and French governments have enlisted the help of the Obama administration in seeking unilateral Ukrainian compliance with Minsk 2’s onerous political terms, which if fully implemented would implant a Russian-controlled entity inside Ukraine’s political system.”
The editors of the Post are pulling off a ruse. Kyiv has not abided by a single clause of Minsk-2, and the regime’s foreign backers, including in the editorial offices of the nearly all of Western media, keep a careful silence on the subject.

More than Forty Percent of American Children Are Living in Poverty

A January 2015 report from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health reveals that forty four percent of children (those under 18) are living in de facto poverty. The Federal Government issues an artificially low annual official poverty level that radically understates the real level of US poverty. For 2015 the official level of poverty for a family of four, for example, is roughly an income $24,000 a year or less. This is for a family with 2 adults and 2 children.

The government likes to make a distinction between “poor” and “low income” but this is just a semantic game to try and hide the true level of economic deprivation Washington is willing to inflict on millions of children in order to avoid comprehensive welfare reform and realistic taxation polices directed at Wall Street and the 1 percent.

Religious Eugenics: Saudi Arabia’s Frightening New Movement in the Middle East

Never in its history has Yemen experienced such a degree of pain and utter despair. But while wars are generally ugly affairs since they require their fill of blood before the canons finally fall silent, Saudi Arabia’s campaign in Yemen is far from ordinary.

But not only that, Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy in the Middle East is betraying a disturbing and rather ominous covert agenda, one which resonates with ethnic engineering and religious eugenics.

And if so far few have connected the dots, their hands tied by Riyadh’s overbearing and overarching control on media outlets and the grand political narrative, it is high time we learn to recognize Al Saud’s campaign for what it really is: a concerted effort to cleanse the region of all religious minorities, beginning with Shia Islam, its self-appointed nemesis.

To put it in simple terms – under Saudi Arabia’ suffocating grip, religious minorities are dying a slow and painful death.

Syrians despair amid filth as way to north blocked

After a brief respite aboard a Greek passenger ship, Syrian refugee Mohamed has found himself stranded on a filthy, chaotic strip at the Macedonian border, his way to the relative security of northern Europe blocked by razor wire and riot police.

The 20-year-old geology student, like thousands of others stuck at the Greek frontier village of Idomeni, has made an arduous and often dangerous journey to escape the horrors of the Syrian civil war.

What he has found at Idomeni has brought him close to despair and now he simply wants to go anywhere in Europe that is safe. "We just want to survive," he told Reuters.

Polish president plans to suggest changing format of Ukraine negotiations

"I want to talk about it. I cannot image that powerful European countries are not involved in this format. The United States could also join it as a world power Russia has to reckon with, as well as Ukraine’s neighbors who are interested in what’s going on there," Duda said.
According to the Polish president, the Normandy format (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine) can be replaced by the Geneva format that would involve the United States, the EU, Russia and Ukraine. "It would be better if one of the parties at the negotiating table was a representative of some of the European institutions, not just Germany and France," he noted.

The Neoconservative Empire Returns

Everyone knows the basics of the dispute over the nuclear deal with Iran. In no time at all, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu leaped directly into the American political arena to take potshots at that agreement in a way that, had any other world leader acted similarly, would have been denounced across the political spectrum. And he did so backed not only by his own party and government but by established opinion makers in Israel, all of whom are deeply convinced that the deal is neither reasonable nor in Israel’s best interests.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A war against Iran will most likely invite a war with Russia, coming to Iran's aid militarily.

The US military does not have the money, the troop strength, or the manufacturing to insure a positive outcome in a war against Russia, and that is what makes a war against Iran so scarily dangerous.

There are times when the interests of Israel and the US do align; the issue of the treaty with Iran is not one of those times.

And of course, the Israeli government wants the US to fight this war for them; that means it will be Americans in our military who will fight, die, and get maimed for life in a war to protect Israel's best interests.

Is this the highest and best use of US the US military?!? Absolutely not.

Despite Deal, US Officials Still Talk Up Attacking Iran

Through years of diplomatic efforts, US officials have threatened to attack Iran on a regular basis. Exactly how often they should threaten Iran has often been a matter of contention, but there appeared to be bipartisan agreement that threatening Iran made some sort of sense.

Since all the threats at the time were based nominally on disputes over Iran’s nuclear program, one would think the P5+1 nuclear deal with Iran, of which the US is a party and which the administration is championing, would stop the loose talk of war. That’s not the case, however.

If anything, in the weeks since the deal was reached, US officials have threatened Iran even more often, with the latest being a USA Today article quoting two “senior” military officials, described as being involved in the planning of attacks against Iran, describing the “comprehensive attack” on the nation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Hundreds of migrants cross border unhindered from Greece into Macedonia - video

Hundreds of migrants cross from Greece into Macedonia on Sunday after Macedonian security forces appeared to abandon a bid to seal the border, following days of confrontation. Large groups of migrants can be seen walking across the border to Gevgelija train stations where they wait to board trains northwards to Serbia. Macedonia had declared a state of emergency on Thursday and sealed its southern frontier, using riot police and tear gas in an attempt to drive back crowds, but the police lines were overwhelmed on Saturday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Guardian gives absolutely zero context is to why this is happening.

I watched some clips of what what going on in Macedonia on Al-Jazeera television on Saturday.

Most of these people are war-displaced Syrians, desperately trying to get into Europe to achieve some kind of refugee status.

The Macedonian police were beating men with clubs, and throwing flash-bang grenades at the feet of mothers with toddlers in their arms.

The US government, redoubling its efforts to oust Bashir Al-Assad, is specifically responsible for this massive human tidal wave of misery, but will, of course, do absolutely nothing to help these people.

They are, to this government, simply "collateral damage",because they did not have the collective good taste to die outright in their country of origin.

Just looking at the faces of those parents, kids and toddlers, with all the trauma they have had to endure, nearly made me cry, and I think it would have done the same for all decent people of conscience.

This is a pogrom against people of the Middle East and Africa, because they have the nerve to be living on resources - or near potential pipeline routes - the US government wants for itself, and to insure that payments for those resources are only doe with US dollars.

Obama Should Charge Clinton With Espionage

Hillary Clinton should be charged with espionage. Not really. And I don't think she will be. But if the Obama administration is going to be consistent in its treatment of those who leak classified information, Clinton ought to face charges under the Espionage Act.

The Espionage Act was written in 1917 to combat German saboteurs during the First World War. Between 1917 and 2008, it was used three times to charge Americans who had passed classified information to the press. Since Barack Obama became president, however, his Justice Department has charged eight Americans with espionage. I know. I'm one of them. And none of us gave classified information to a foreign government. In fact, most of us were whistleblowers, exposing evidence of government waste, fraud, abuse, or illegality.

The Espionage Act is actually pretty simple. It says that a person is guilty of espionage if he provides "national defense information to any person not entitled to receive it."

Sm?r? Špionam! BAN Windows 10, it SPIES too much, exclaim Russians

Russian lawyers have filed a complaint calling for an outright ban – or at least tight restrictions – over the sale of Windows 10 in Russia.

The complaint to the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office argues that Windows 10 collects user information in a way that violates Russian laws. Moscow-based Bubnov and Partners contended that the collection of passwords, location data, typed texts and browsing history and the uploading of the information to Microsoft’s cloud violate Russian privacy legislation.

Pesticides in Paradise: Hawaii’s Spike in Birth Defects Puts Focus on GM Crops

Pediatrician Carla Nelson remembers catching sight of the unusually pale newborn, then hearing an abnormal heartbeat through the stethoscope and thinking that something was terribly wrong.

The baby was born minutes before with a severe heart malformation that would require complex surgery. What worried her as she waited for the ambulance plane to take the infant from Waimea, on the island of Kauai, to the main children’s hospital in Honolulu, on another Hawaiian island, was that it was the fourth one shehad seen in three years.

In all of Waimea, there have been at least nine in five years, she says, shaking her head. That’s more than 10 times the national rate, according to analysis by local doctors.

US media blackout: French oppose vaccines

By Jon Rappoport

Get used to it. We live in an Orwellian landscape. When there is a really serious story that needs to be censored, it is. It gets little or no play. It’s buried.

And vaccines is one of those stories.

Here, from thevaccinereaction.org, is a shocker: “The French National Debate on Vaccines,” by Marco Caceres, August 19...

Central Banks Have Become A Corrupting Force

Are we witnessing the corruption of central banks? Are we observing the money-creating powers of central banks being used to drive up prices in the stock market for the benefit of the mega-rich?

These questions came to mind when we learned that the central bank of Switzerland, the Swiss National Bank, purchased 3,300,000 shares of Apple stock in the first quarter of this year, adding 500,000 shares in the second quarter. Smart money would have been selling, not buying.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Politicians and judges can be paid off; it is a small price to pay for the huge profits corporations make from GMO crops.

And the people of Kauai have absolutely no choice in the matter; what they get are illnesses, and genetic deformations from cancer-causing glyphosate.

When you vote and nothing changes, you are not living in a representative democracy at all; this is what has happened both to Kauai and the US in general.

Obama administration officials only began notifying local law enforcement officials of the release of violent criminal illegal immigrants within the last two weeks, according to Arizona law enforcement officials, who say they have for years been kept in the dark about the release of illegal immigrants back into local towns.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had been keeping secret its release of illegal immigrants with violent criminal records from local law enforcement for at least two years, denying for a time that this was taking place, law enforcement officials disclosed to the Washington Free Beacon.

The public disclosure of this practice, in which Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) frees criminal illegal immigrants back into U.S. communities, came to light earlier this week, when Arizona law enforcement was made aware that three illegal aliens with violent criminal records had been released back onto the streets.

This Map Shows How Many More Students Are Living In Poverty Than 9 Years Ago

Students in America’s schools are much, much poorer than they were nine years ago.

In 2006, 31 percent of America’s students attended schools in “high-poverty” districts, meaning that 20 percent or more of the district's students lived below the federal poverty line. By 2013, however, this number jumped to over 49 percent, according to an analysis of U.S. Census estimates from the nonprofit EdBuild. This means that nearly half of the nation’s children between the ages of 5 and 17 attend schools in communities where a large chunk of families are struggling to get by.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Obama loves big numbers.

I am nearly certain that the consistent continuation of offshoring/outsourcing of jobs, which remains unabated in his administration, courtesy of the corporations which support him, overtly and covertly, must be a point of personal pride for him.

China's stock market suffers biggest one-day fall since 2007

China's stock market fell Monday by its biggest margin in eight years, defying the government's multi billion-dollar attempt to stop a slide that has wiped out all of the gains of this year's price boom.

The decline threatened to weigh anew on global markets after last week's Chinese losses triggered a worldwide selloff.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 8.5 percent to close at 3,209.91 points, its biggest one-day loss since an 8.8 percent decline on Feb. 27, 2007. The index is down 38 percent from its June 12 peak and just under 1 percent below its closing on Dec. 31, last year's final trading day.

The slump has inflicted heavy losses on small investors, souring many on stock ownership and threatening to disrupt Communist Party plans to use the market to raise money for reforms of state industry.

"It feels like the end of the world," said Pan Chong, a social media specialist.

Erdogan’s Dirty Dangerous ISIS Games

Turkey is a beautiful land, rich in resources, with many highly intelligent and warm people. It also happens to have a President who seems intent on destroying his once-proud nation. More and more details are coming to light revealing that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, variously known as ISIS, IS or Daesh, is being fed and kept alive by Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, the Turkish President and by his Turkish intelligence service, including MIT, the Turkish CIA. Turkey, as a result of Erdo?an’s pursuit of what some call a Neo-Ottoman Empire fantasies that stretch all the way to China, Syria and Iraq, threatens not only to destroy Turkey but much of the Middle East if he continues on his present path.

Misinformation Hides Real Dimension of Greek “Bailout”

The long saga on Greece is apparently over – European institutions have given Athens a third bailout of 86 billion euros which, combined with the previous two, makes a grand total of 240 billion euros.

There is no doubt that the large majority of European citizens are convinced that this is a great example of solidarity, and that if Greece is not now able to walk on its own feet, the responsibility will lie solely with Greek citizens and their government.

But this is only due to the fact that the media system has, by and large, ceased to provide alternative views … and some people even ignore that the bailout is a loan, and therefore increases the country’s debt.

Tension grows over 'lost' North Korean submarines as South Korea searches for vessels

The mystery of 50 missing North Korean submarines deepened fears yesterday over Pyongyang’s threat to fire across the border.

South Korea yesterday said the submarines, comprising about 70 per cent of a North Korean submarine fleet, had left their home ports and were nowhere to be found.

US and South Korean reconnaissance planes and naval vessels searched yesterday off the east and west coasts of the Korean peninsula for the submarines. Military officials said deployment of the submarines was the largest in the region since the Korean War.

Why Has The Government Stopped Reporting Lake Mead Water Levels?

For months we have been warning that "Vegas is screwed" as water levels continue to plunge in its most crucial reservoirs. Non-government experts are waving red flags that something must be done (and even NASA scientists fear the worst) while the government remains quiet. And then just 3 months ago, Lake Mead water levels mysteriously plunged to levels that were perilously close to emergency for Vegas water supply, then quickly reverted after the government confirmed that a malfunctioning indicator was at fault.

Now, we note, having given them time to 'fix' whatever problem there may be, Lake Mead water levels have not been reported since July 9th - six weeks??!!

Libreoffice 5 review

How much should you pay for a full suite of office applications? The nightmare scenario for Microsoft is that the answer to this is “nothing”, and LibreOffice is one of the products making that nightmare more of a reality.

LibreOffice is a free, open-source office suite that includes a word processor, a spreadsheet and presentation software. It’s derived from the old OpenOffice code base but is much improved over it and its successor products. And, as you’d expect from an open-source product, it’s available on a range of platforms: Windows, Linux, OS X, and (of course) anything you can get the source code to compile on yourself.

China Didn't Cause US Stock-Market Crash

If we listen to the financial-television talking heads, internet gurus, and newspaper economists, you might think that China caused the U.S. stock-market crisis.

Yes, China’s officials devalued their currency. And, yes, stocks plunged. ...

But just because two events happen coincidentally doesn’t mean they are related. And even if the two are related, it does not mean that one caused the other.

Obama is 'Too Scared' to Tell Truth About Ukrainian War – US Journalist

"Though this notion that the Ukraine crisis was simply a case of 'Russian aggression' is held by virtually every important person in Washington's current power circles, it was never true. The crisis was provoked by a US-backed coup on February 22, 2014, which overthrew Ukraine's elected President Viktor Yanukovych. Putin reacted to that provocation; he didn't instigate it," Parry explained.

It’s now been a year since William Thompson, long-time CDC researcher, publicly admitted he concealed evidence that indicted the MMR vaccine for its connection to autism...

Both of these approaches are slimy and disingenuous, because the man we want to hear from is Thompson himself. And we have not...

Thailand Blasts: Has US Pivot to Asia Become a Brawl?

An unprecedented terror attack unfolded Monday evening in Bangkok, Thailand leaving 20 dead and over a hundred injured. No single attack of this scale has been carried out in Bangkok before, prompting fears that Thailand’s enemies have raised their campaign of sedition and violence to grisly new levels.

The Western media has floated several possibilities, attempting first and foremost to focus on the prospect of terrorists, either from Thailand’s troubled southern-most provinces, or from China’s Xinjiang region.
